Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

If only he stayed in the train.
He would be graduated now, spending time with his friends, doing something he likes. He would live is his own apartment which would be near his home, so that he can spend all of his free time with Adela. If he stayed in the train, he might as well be on the Hogwarts, but as a professor, not as a student.
But, he didn't. He went out, he protected his sister, his former lover. He saved a few but lost many - including himself. He got bitten, only because he wasn't fast enough. He lost a year of his life, being here and there. And now, he's in the place he thought he'll never see again. All alone.

And he didn't mind it. Though he had friends here, some of whom he knew for years, he prefered being alone, at least these days around full moon. And there wasn't better place for hiding than a place that was literally forbidden. Wandering the forest, Quincy was lost in his minds. He pulled out his wand when he spotted moving in the bushes right next to him, even though his senses told him it was just an animal. Just an animal.
Walking on the edge of the forest, he suddenly saw someone. And this time, it wasn't an animal. His wand was still in his hand and giving the personality of the girl gazing back at him, it was necessary. Last time he actually spoke to her, in the train few weeks ago, she told him she will kill him one day. Is it today? Quincy would love to see her try. With smirk on his face, he nodded in greeting. "Wow, you really did changed. Can't believe you're walking alone in this woods."

You're the one to blame Empty Re: You're the one to blame

Post by Milena Ivanova Wed Oct 07, 2015 10:01 pm

(OOC. It's awful but it's the best I could write in the moment, sry.)

Quidditch practice should have lasted for three hours, but Milena cut it short after only hour and a half. She wanted to cancel it, if she was being honest, she didn't do it only because she was the one who scheduled training in the first place, so it wouldn't be fair. Last year she wouldn't have any second thoughts about cancelling theirtraining, but she promised them, Mila promised to herself that she'll be better captain this year. It wasn't possible to be worse than she had been during the last year, anyways. After the training finished, she patiently waited till her team returned their brooms before locking the door, and gave them half speech about future trainings, the desperate need to find more players who could fill the places of the ones who graduated or left the team, and future games, before leaving them and heading straight for the forest.

„Daŭno nie baèylisia.“ Long time no see.

Milena whispered, looking at the woods. Forbidden, huh? The forestdidn't seem so forbidden now, it didn't look forbidden not even when she came here for the first time. In fact, the forest was the only thing that hasn't changed, not even the slightest. Logical part of her brain kept telling her it wasn't true, but she refused to believe in that, that way the woods would be the exact same place where she skipped classes with Mryia, they'd come here with bottles of butterbear, chocolate cakes and sweets and they'd stay till midnight. Even after Mryia died, Mila kept coming here, bringing those things and just…. sitting there. She did that more often than they did that, for a simple reason, the woods were the only place where she felt like she was close to Mryia, like her friend was still around. Ironically, she could see the place where her friend died from the same spot. Milena raised her bottle in the air, her eyes shut, silently toasting to…Who? What? She had no idea, but she took a long gulp before opening her eyes again, only to meet a stare of the only person she fought hard to avoid.

"Quincy." She acknowledged with bitterness in her tone. Pronouncing his name was a verbal slap in the face itself as he never called him Quincy before, since the day they met, he was Quinn, but suddenlyshe was all formal, like Quinn never existed before. He did, but he doesn't exist anymore. Not for her, at least.

(OOC. it's fine (; )

Man she was weird. To be honest, she always was but not like this. She had that crazy look in her eyes or maybe it was just him imagining things but he was sure she was a bit crazy. And the ways she said his name, there was definitely something off. Kai told him she went crazy but Quincy couldn't believe it. Well, now he does. It is official, Milena Ivanova is joining his "people to avoid" list.

Her gaze was full of.. what? Hate? Was it hate or something else? Was it guilt? Because if it was, Quincy would totally understand that. Feeling guilty was - in this situation - right, because after everything he went through, she acted like a jerk in the train. And he didn't deserve it. And he was ready to forgive.

But he felt it wasn't that. No, in this gaze there was not even a trace of guilt. She was all cold, she was angry. She acted like she never saw him before, like he is just... somebody. And truth to be told, he was okay with that. But there was this part of him that wanted to hear something nice from her - after all he got bitten while trying to protect her. Rude, Mila, really rude.

He done the only thing he could - he started laughing. Because there was nothing he could say to her, and yet for some reason he couldn't go away.

She stood there, glaring at him then walked to the nearest tree and sat under its treetop, leaning against the trunk, not caring if that act might get her dirt on her yellow Quidditch cape. She can always use a spell to clean it or fix it if necessarily. "What? You're just gonna stand there and watch?" Milena arched an eyebrow at him, even she wasn't sure if he could actually see it considering the lack of light. "Enjoy, creep."

She closed her eyes, one hand painfully squeezing cold wood of her wand. Just in case, she remembered and lowered her hold a little, letting her muscles to relax. If he's going to stand here, she couldn't stop him, but she won't do anything to encourage him either. She turned her head in other direction, letting dark bangs to fully cover her face as opaque veil, hiding her face from him, as she decided she'll completely ignore him until he goes away. Sooner rather than later, she hoped.

Mila's eyes burst open when she heard his laughter. She turned her head very slowly, than without thinking waved with his wand and casted Diffindo spell, it should probably be smarter if she did that using non verbal way of casting spell they just started to learn, but she wouldn't be sure the spell was casted right, that way, she could also say the incantation more quietly so he couldn't hear it, but she didn't think about those things, he pissed her, and she wanted to punish him. As well as punish him for his own existence, too.

It was like he knew. That's why he was more careful than usually, that's why he didn't put his wand in the pocket when he saw her. He knew what could happen and it did.
He waved his wand whispering protego and the bright light appeared in front of him, rejecting her spell. He was expecting something like this and yet he was taken by surprise. Guess he didn't really believe that she'll be able to actually hurt him, not after what they went through together. But then again, Quincy always sought the best in people. Maybe it was time to change his beliefs.

Standing with his wand pointed at her, he couldn't but wonder how much hate does she feel towards him. And why? Not like he ever did something bad to her, except leaving for a year but she knew it wasn't his choice. And for some reason, Quincy believed that it had nothing to do with that. No, she hated him for being what she is, a werewolf. And again, it's not like he had a choice. Actually, he did. He could simply stayed in the train or run with some students, leaving his sister, his best friend and everyone else. So he stayed and fought, he got bitten and if he could turn back time, he wouldn't change a thing.

Squeezing his wand, he stared at her. He made two small steps towards her, before he started laughing again. "You know it's just... I was such a fool! I can't believe I spent a year with you. You are the most selfish person I ever met. I'm so disappointed in you Milena." But it wasn't until just now that he realized he actually meant it. Even though she probably didn't care about it, it hurt him in a way, knowing he was partly guilty for destroying one life - indirectly.
