Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Not my Cup of Tea Empty Not my Cup of Tea

Post by Cecilia Attwood Wed Aug 26, 2015 9:03 pm

It was a slow day and Adelaide had nothing better to do so she set off for Hogsmeed. As she walked past the people there she watched. She watched the way they moved the way they acted. She smirked to herself and pushed the hair out of her face. The girls skirt swished and her heels clicked with each step she took. Soon she reached Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop and she pushed the door open and entered the shop. She found herself a table set off in the corner with a good view of the rest of the little shop and positioned herself at it crossing her legs. The teen ager wore a plain black pleated skirt with a white button up collared shirt as usual, along with her heels.

Not my Cup of Tea Empty Re: Not my Cup of Tea

Christine had once again free time in her day and she didn't had much to do at home, so she had came to Hogesmeade this time. Just to look around in shops in here and just spend her day shopping. When she was infront of Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop she decided to go in and order herself a tea. Girl walked then in and looked around there. She tried to spot some free table but she couldn't find any since all of them were taken or there was sitting someone. That made girl a sigh. She didn't really wanna sit right now with some stranger who she barely know. So she just did went and ordered herself peppermint tea. She once again looked around for a seat.

Not my Cup of Tea Empty Re: Not my Cup of Tea

Adela narrowed her eyes and took a sip of tea as she watched a girl come in order herself something to drink then continued to stand awkwardly looking around. She recognized the girl from school but couldn’t remember anything about her at this moment. Rolling her eyes Addie pushed her hair over her shoulder and took a journal out of her bag along with something to write with.  Noting the date and time Adelaide took account of everything she had seen so far that day. Everyone she had passed seemed so comfortable going about their day, that seemed  very strange to Adela. very strange indeed.

Christine looked some time around and sighed. She wanted to sit in table alone, not with people who she barely knew. It's nice to meet new people but sometimes they end up not liking her. She sighed one more time and then walked to one girl, who was around her age (Adela). She have seen her few times around a school, she had no clue what house or so she was. What was even girls name. "Hello, may I sit here?" she asked then quite politely, she just was raised like this. She hoped it was okay. She decided to wait a answer before she sits down.

"Not in that seat," Adela replied glaring up at the girl who stood before her blocking her view of the rest of the shop, "sit over the." she added waving her hand to the left side where there was an empty seat at the table out of her way.
Taking a sip of her tea Adelaide looked the girl over again. definitely a Hufflepuff, she knew most of the Slytherins, a Gryffindor would have just bounded over, and she didn't see any reason for a Ravenclaw to be out anytime soon. "Hufflepuff I presume," she stated giving the girl a sideways glance hoping she wasn't the annoying bubbly type she hated so.

"Oh wow. Rude much," she mumbled there to herself now. She looked at the girl in front of her and by her attitude she could tell she was slytherin. "And if i'm hufflepuff what you gonna do with that knowledge?" She asked back basically from her now. Not sure where all that bravery suddenly came. "And I pressume you are Slytherin," she said there now same way back too. She didn't even bother to move out of other girls view. She just wanted now answer for her othet question. She didn't try to annoy this girl but if she will take it that way then it's her problen not Christine's.

Not my Cup of Tea Empty Re: Not my Cup of Tea

"Why would I have to do something with information I don't even have to ask to see?" Adela glared up at the girl who had not moved. She had asked to sit and Adela had offered a chair out of the way. "If you must sit it off to the side or leave." She growled her eyes fleeting off to a movement at the table next to her and then back. "Oh Yes i am," She smiled devilishly up at the girl. "Such a smart hufflepuff you are my girl. " She mocked.
This girl was already getting On Addie's nerves, and being out of Hogwarts there was nothing she could do about it like she would in school.

Christine just sighed on that. "Oh I see. Just asked, don't need to get annoyed," she said there now there with a small smile on her face. She wasn't really trying to get on her nerves but this happened most of times since she really didn't talk that much with people actually. "I could tell by your attitude what is your house since most people who have yours attitude towards people are in slytherin," she said there now something back to her. She looked around and wondered where she really should sit. Sitting in same time with this girl will be nightmare for sure. She is just so rude one.
