HAIR COLOUR: Dark brown

BODY BUILD: Athletic

Graham's mother consistently tells him that he has black-colored hair, but that's genetically impossible. And he really enjoys saying as much. He isn't usually so rude to others though, instead just shrugging if they ever comment on it incorrectly. His hair is curly like you wouldn't believe, and it only gets slightly better if he grows it out. That said, it's usually not too long, giving off the impression that he either just got out of bed, or that it's entirely untamable (which it is), as it is inevitably mussed and wild at any given time.

He has dark brown eyes, which are oddly expressive given how unusual it is for him to show emotion or even attempt to be friendly. The only people who notice, most likely, are the few friends he has bothered to pick up along the way. They flash when he is angry, or narrow, changing imperceptibly to those who aren't paying enough attention.

Graham isn't a massive fan of facial hair, unless he gets too focused on school work or whatever is currently holding his attention. He looks fine either way, but feels more himself without it. Similarly, he prefers to look sharp, if only because he feels better for it. It's sort of a habit, really. Wakes up, makes sure he's well-dressed, attempts to fix the mop on his head, gives up but is now fully awake and ready for the day, so he can head downstairs for breakfast. With a good outfit, he's convinced, comes a sense of authority, even if it's just within himself.

Alignment: Neutral Evil
"Path of Supremacy:
Motivations: Achievement and Power

Personality Type: ISTJ, "The Logistician."

"ISTJs are often called inspectors. They have a keen sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and/or responsibility. They are noted for devotion to duty. Punctuality is a watchword of the ISTJ. The secretary, clerk, or business(wo)man by whom others set their clocks is likely to be an ISTJ.

As do other Introverted Thinkers, ISTJs often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold. Effusive expression of emotional warmth is not something that ISTJs do without considerable energy loss.

ISTJs are most at home with "just the facts, Ma'am." They seem to perform at highest efficiency when employing a step-by-step approach. Once a new procedure has proven itself (i.e., has been shown "to work,") the ISTJ can be depended upon to carry it through, even at the expense of their own health.

ISTJs are easily frustrated by the inconsistencies of others, especially when the second parties don't keep their commitments. But they usually keep their feelings to themselves unless they are asked. And when asked, they don't mince words. Truth wins out over tact. The grim determination of the ISTJ vindicates itself in officiation of sports events, judiciary functions, or an other situation which requires making tough calls and sticking to them.

Their SJ orientation draws the ISTJ into the service of established institutions. Home, social clubs, government, schools, the military, churches -- these are the bastions of the SJ. "We've always done it this way" is often reason enough for many ISTJs. Threats to time-honored traditions or established organizations (e.g., a "run" on the bank) are the undoing of SJs, and are to be fought at all costs.

Jung viewed introverted sensing as something of an oxymoron, in that the natural direction of senses is outward toward the object, rather than inward and away from it. One has the sense that Introverted Sensors are drawn more to the measure of the concept of the perceived object than to the experience of that perception.

Only in times of great distress is the Introverted Feeling expressed. Otherwise, feeling is inferred, or expressed nonverbally, through eye contact, or an encouraging smile."

Graham is:
1. Patient
2. More interested in the outcome of his actions than in being spontaneous.

Graham is not:
1. Sure why he wasn't put in Slytherin house.

2. A quiet hope of being named Head Boy.

Graham has not:
1. Forgiven the Order for what they did to his family.
2. Decided if he wants to join the Death Eaters or not.

Graham wants:
1. A lucrative job that won't be too taxing. [he's still deciding what that is, though he doesn't want it to be in sports, as that's too much like his half-brother for his tastes]
2. To knock down those he feels have insulted or ignored him.

Graham hates:
1. Being seen as second to anyone.
2. Failure, which he believes includes anything but coming in first.

Graham fears:
1. That his sister, Anita, looks up to him too much.
2. That he will never receive the same attention from his mother as Arin does. [The same goes for his sisters]

BLOOD STATUS:  Halfblood

SOCIAL STATUS: Wealthy [see History regarding Arin]

Arin Trask was born in the summer of 2007, into a marriage that was already falling apart. Miles Trask was a workaholic, and his wife Arden was growing more and more irritated with him. Before Arin could even walk, the divorce papers had been signed, and Arden took him with her when she moved out. That isn't to say that Miles is not still part of Arin's life. He has always been in and out when needed. Arden remarried before he did, and has since had three more children with Edmund Dunn, and adopted a fourth.

From the get-go, Graham looked up to Arin and stuck close to him. Arin took up football in summers and had a four-year leg up on Graham when he first started. For a while, it was just the two boys learning and practicing together between primary school classes. The age difference didn't matter at first, but Arin started gaining a great deal of attention, and that's when their mother started acting differently. Even if Graham had a success, it didn't matter unless Arin had a better one. When the coach of their league wanted to put Graham in Arin's usual slot, just to give him a chance, Arden offered no support. It didn't help that Edmund was always at work, or that Graham couldn't bring himself to say anything without proof. What would it matter? The coach obviously thought Arin was better, as more often than not, even if Graham was put in, he would be replaced before he could have any really thrilling moments.

It wasn't until Graham found out that he had his father's abilities that he really started to think things might improve for him. Surely, this thing that Arin could not do would gain him some attention. Except Arin had been approved as a U-17 for the Aberdeen football club, and would go on to be signed in a few years. So Arden, not-so-secretly looking for a way to move up in the world and make more money, became an unofficial manager for her eldest child. Arin's money as a footballer has always gone to helping the family in part, but the majority of it has been set aside for him. Arden always seems to take a bit off, as well, but Graham isn't sure Arin's noticed.

The poor girls, they rarely had anyone besides Graham, and even he had trouble understanding how to act around them. It wasn't that he didn't care about them, but he was so set on proving his mother and Arin wrong that he often forgot to look out for them.

It wasn't until he got his letter for Hogwarts that he truly felt the hatred settle in. Arin had an odd way of being falsely humble, of suggesting that his teammates shared in the glory when he was the one everyone gave their attention to. The moment anyone else - especially Graham - found success in something that he did not, Arin complained or fought against it, and nobody really said anything about it because he was their star player. Graham is still convinced that, had he been the elder brother, he could have been even better. But no one had ever given him the chance. So he became all the more determined to prove himself via magic, and that set him going down a very dark path.

Graham was a good student from the start, seemingly fitting into his sorting as a Ravenclaw. He was never really the friendly sort of person, though, almost entirely because of his interactions with Arin and his mother throughout the years. Getting close to people wasn't something he did. Almost right out of the gate, however, he had something of a mean streak. A need to be better than others. He was quite good at keeping that habit (or, obsession, really) quiet, and the professors never seemed the wiser. He would find a way out of things he didn't have an interest in, or would win over people he needed to in order to properly ruin someone else. Manipulation came easy, and he was quickly wondering how on earth he hadn't been sorted into Slytherin. His wits, though, had landed him firmly in the blue-and-bronze house, and he decided to make the most of it.

He considered going out for Quidditch, and was thinking of asking his father to give him a new broom for tryouts, but when he got home at Christmas break of his second term, he found out that it wouldn't be an option. Edmund had been a member of the Order of the Phoenix for years, working under the radar due to his near-anonymity. The Ministry didn't keep tabs on him, and the Death Eaters didn't remember his face. When the Order needed someone to investigate a Death Eater hideout, they didn't realize that the Ministry had planned an attack as well. When the Aurors arrived, they didn't realize he wasn't involved in the D.E. meeting, and he was killed, fostering a deep grudge within Graham against the Order and the Auror Office.

The Ravenclaw wouldn't have realized it himself, but after he immediately withdrew from Potter's Army, it became clear to Francesca Malfoy that Graham had a terrible habit of internalizing things that happened around him. It's what led to him despising people he had never met and wanting to make up for what they had done to his father. She never told him that she thought it was a trait of his, and so Graham never stopped to consider it. Over time, it's created a number of problems that he has yet to fully come to terms with, and allowed grudges to form tenfold. One might think she would have warned him, but perhaps it was more interesting to watch him become that much more corrupt, or perhaps she just didn't think she needed to explain it to him. Either way, he is still oblivious to the habit, and it's made him worse as he ages.

Before his fourth year at Hogwarts, he ran into one of the Rookwood men, who accidentally created a turning point in Graham's life. A question with a surprising answer led to the Ravenclaw's decision to join the Dark Followers in secret. ["If you had to betray your family to get what you want... would you?"] He was glad that it had taken a year or so for him to actually realize he would be suited to being part of them, because it put space between his time in Potter's Army and his new alignment. The only reason he is unsure about joining the Death Eaters upon graduating is the visible proof that will be burned into his skin. At least his affiliation with the Dark Followers is pretty under wraps.

Graham will likely not remember much of his fifth year when he is older, if only because so much of it was taken up by his desire to receive perfect marks on his exams. His successes are the only things that seem to keep him motivated to try at all, so working just hard enough to pass isn't an option. He was right, in the end, in assuming that Arden would only be mildly impressed by it, but it seems to quietly irk Arin, who was never particularly skilled scholastically. Graham consistently jokes that it's because he took a few too many headers, but that's only when they're in front of other people. If it's just them, he's far less forgiving.

During the summer before his sixth year [the upcoming term], Graham and Arin got into a massive fight during one of Miles's visits. Arden was away with her siblings on holiday, and Miles was more interested in asking Graham and Ellorie about magic than in striking up a one-on-one match with his son. Hoping to sneak away quietly while Ellorie talked to Miles, Arin pulled Graham aside and the boys had a row like they never had before. It ended up causing such a rift between them that they haven't spoken to each other since. Even though Graham knows it's painfully obvious, and although he knows he is the one who needs to apologize, he is more concerned that Arin will use what happened against him in the future.

RP EXPERIENCE: Enough by now, right? Maybe?

CHARACTER PURPOSE: I dropped several characters because I wanted a new student and another go at making a bad guy. *crosses fingers*
