This thread is a directory of all characters who play an important role in the plot of Potter’s Army. It summarizes these characters backgrounds, positions and their role in the plot. This is very helpful for new and returning members so they can understand the history of your character and how they are connected to the plot.
Anyone can post here. However, they have to be involved in the plot in SOME way. They could be a Potters Army member at Hogwarts causing trouble around the school or an Auror fighting the Death Eaters and etc.
Additionally, you will find several important roles below that have not been filled. You may make a character to fill these roles if you are active enough. See the second post.

Katrina-Carlotta Du Hunt, Leader of the Death Eaters

Background:
Katrina-Carlotta did not join the Death Eaters with the intention of taking over the organization. Things do sometimes happen unexpectedly, however, and the dark witch wasn't about to reject the position. While Katrina-Carlotta doesn't have as much of a problem with muggles as most who call themselves Death Eaters, she will be very stressed over the current happenings. Katrina-Carlotta wants the entire situation contained as swiftly as possible, and is terrified of the repercussions of the muggle world learning about magic. She will do everything in her power to ensure the muggle world remains ignorant of magic, and the pixies are contained. If her method is a little more bloody than most would be comfortable with, it would hardly be the first time.Rivah Trenton

Background:
Until quite recently, Rivah worked within the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures within the Ministry. She had been a part of that department from the moment she graduated Hogwarts, working all the way to Department Head, a position she held for almost two years. Still, it had been her wish to sit among the Wizengamot members since she was a pre-teen, and when the opportunity practically pranced into her lap, the witch just had to take it. Rivah is a Death Eater, but is unusual in that she tries to avoid the blood, guts, and cursing as much as possible. Really, Rivah just wants as much knowledge and respect as she can get her hands on. Sorting out this whole muggle fiasco would be really nice, too.
Albus Severus Potter

Background:
Albus Potter likes to think he'd never have joined the Death Eaters if not for Katrina-Carlotta du Hunt.
He's lying to himself. Mostly.
Albus was estranged from his family from the start, apparently mediocre in a brood of greats. Then he discovered the more...unappetising sides of magic. Drawn in to something that for the first time he actually has a flair for, Albus is an inventor, and no creator likes boundaries being imposed on their creations, and the Death Eaters are the perfect opposite for that. So if you need a spell, or potion that hasn't been cooked up before, Albus is your go-to man. Of course, he still technically doesn't have the Mark, and a very select few even know he's a part of the DE's, since he disguises himself as Raiden Prince for all meetings. But Kat-Car is undeniably a mentor, there is a lot of mutual respect there, and he's soon going to get more involved in the major DE activities.
THE ORDER

Oliver Connolly - Co-Leader of the Order

Background:
Oliver assumed that his life would continue on as a writer, happy to deal with the people in his life without worrying about those outside of it. But after his sister was killed by the werewolf attack on Hogwarts, he joined the Order and quickly joined Audriana Swan in her attempts to bring them back from their time of inactivity. He will be the one who demands that she break off and make her own faction, and will help bring new organization to the Order (in terms of leadership and dealing with conflict). He wants to keep the Ministry in tact but separate from the Muggles, in order to keep everyone safe.Audriana Swan - Co-Leader of the Order

Background:
Audriana did not intend to play a big role in the Order, always sticking in the background. But now that the Ministry is "failing" in her opinion, and the Muggles are becoming a bit more aware of what's happening, she wants to do away with the current system and allow the two worlds to merge. This is the aim of the faction she will create with other Order members and anyone else who wishes to join. Once that faction breaks apart, she will not be welcomed back into the Order, although the others of her faction likely will be, provided they address Oliver and the other Order members about it..Kingsley Shacklebolt

Background:
Easily one of the most influential wizards alive, Shacklebolt has played an important role in nearly every major event in Wizarding Britain for the last three decades. His combination of wisdom, patience and magical skill make him an extremely formidable adversary. A survivor, Shacklebolt is one of the few wizards to have participated in both wizarding wars and lived to tell the tale. Though pureblood, Shacklebolt despises the ideology of pureblood supremacy and supports full magical/muggle integration.
Khaat Lupin, Director of St.Mungos

Background:
Khaat is the only child of Robert and Katherine "Kate" Lupin. She is the Director of St. Mungos, and is a skilled healer--the abilities inherited from her father. She is also a seer, inheriting those abilities from her mother. She is the owner of Sparks Bistro in Diagon Alley. She has served as the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot. Khaat is eager to support the greater good, and is always eager for adventure. She is the mother of eight children and is fiercely loyal to family and friends.
Hazel Parker
Age 21
Background:
Hazel was raised by single parent, mother. She never knew who was her father, not even picture about him. She did attend to Hogwarts for seven years. There she learned so much. Even if she was raised by mother her life was good but until day her mother died. It was Hazel Hogwarts Graduating day, her sisted was born also that day. Her mother just died few minutes later. After that Hazel began to raise her sister. She works as Nurse in St. Mungos as well.

James Roland, Editor of the Daily Prophet

Background:
Roland is one of the Wizarding World's most important politicians. In his long career he has served as Head of the Department of Misuse of Magic, a Member of the Wizengamot, a brief one year stint as Minister and the head of propaganda. In several incidents, Roland has found himself on the wrong side, and has thus lost most of his important positions. He remains influential though, as editor in chief of the daily prophet, a position from where he can influence the opinion of the Wizarding population. Roland is a pacifist and rarely gets involved in battles directly.
Fred Weasley II
Age 27
Background:
Having completed his basic training from England, Fred finished up his Unspeakable training in the States and worked there for awhile. Returned to Britain a year or so ago, as a very high ranking Unspeakable, coordinating with Claire Bishop and other officials for a number of cases. Found himself generally displeased with the way the Ministry was functioning, but didn't do much to actually solve things. Of late, he's been busy with DoM, and a little bit of personal research regarding magical artifacts, weapons and the like, but the blurring boundaries between the Muggle/Wizard worlds would probably pull his attention. Might not commit himself to much, but if he finds himself in the right place to help, he will. Also quite well equipped for helping as his stint in America left him quite comfortable with Muggles and their ways.MUGGLES

Steve Mitchell, Advisor to the Prime Minister
Age 26
Background:
Steve has only been working directly with the Prime Minister for three months now. Steve had been in the same office as the Prime Minister prior to this point, but had very little contact before his promotion. Steve is ex-Military, but really just wants to serve his country in any way he can. The man has been asked to investigate the strange goings on that have been happening all around London. Steve will unknowingly be stumbling into a world he never knew existed. A world of magic.
