It's more fun together than alone (Liz) Empty It's more fun together than alone (Liz)

Emily was sitting in armchair near the fireplace and was just enjoying the quiet common room today and also that warmed. She didn't had much to do at the momemt. Most of her friends had went outside to play with snow but Em didn't want to go. Or they were still somewhere else playing or chatting, her friends. To be honest Emily isn't never been really fan of snow and doing snowmans and so on. It's just to colf for her outside.

So Emily decided to spend it inside for sure, she didn't had really much to do her alone. She never did any homework, she did let others to do it for her. You can never see her reading a book even, she knows how to read but very slowly for sure. She sighed and just looked at the fire. She hoped that someone would come here, someone with who she can talk and hang out. Being all alone wasn't so great at all.

It's more fun together than alone (Liz) Empty Re: It's more fun together than alone (Liz)

Sophia was standing in the dungeons hallways, just to be alone for a while. Although she loved snow and she also loved coldness, she didn’t really want to get out. At that moment she just wanted to be inside. But still Sophia thought that snow and coldness were great. Snow was just beautiful to look at. It was pretty in white and it was sparkling as if there were thousands of stars lying in the snow. And she also liked coldness. It was just perfect to have the coldness around yourself, feeling as if you would get part of it.

But today Sophia just wasn’t in the right mood to get outside. Maybe it was just because all those children were playing there once again. Sophia hated those children so much. All these little kids who were laughing were so annoying. Little kids in general were annoying. So Sophia just was in the hallway. After a while of just standing there she walked through the corridor, right to the Slytherin common room. Maybe Sophia would be alone, maybe there would be a house mate… She didn’t really care, she was open for anything to happen.
Shortly before she was at the common room, Sophia took out her gums. She loved gums and now she just wanted to chew one. She took one and then pursed it again.

Then Sophia was ready to go inside the room. In there she saw a blonde girl sitting at the fireplace. She couldn’t really make out who it was. The girl was sitting with the back to Sophia. That’s the reason why Sophia went there and sat down onto an armchair. And then she was able to make out who it was. It was Emily Night, a girl who was the same age as Sophia. She actually liked that girl. Not that much to really call her a friend, but she really likes her.
“Hey you”, Sophia said to Emily, “So you also don’t like to be outside now?”.

Emily looked at that fire and didn't notice that someone else came in thw common room and sat next to her in armchair unyil that girl began to talk. She had just fell into her thoughts. She loooked at the girl. "Hey," she said then back to her. They weren't really friends but that girl seemed like Em could trust her. So she didn't mind talking with her at all.

"Yes I don't like it. It's just too cold for me and also these giggles and yelling and so on I don't like. Also I don't like snow that much," she said there now. "Why you don't like there?" She asked then from the girl and looked back at fire. She placed her hands towards the fire, she did felt cold still. She could have bring a blanket for her but she was to lazy to go her domitory room for it and she couldn't remember the bringing spell.

While listening to Emily Sophia chewed her gum a little. So, Emily was a girl who didn’t really like the winter. Good to know.

“Well, I love snow, I like coldness, but… Right now I’m just not in the right mood. And also all those children who are playing with snow and who are that loud are just very annoying. So, right now I just want to be somewhere inside without so many firstgraders”, Sophia said. Then she leaned back and thought about all those kids. When she had been the age all lose children were, she never had done snow ball fights or anything like that. She had hated to do that just like she did now. For her it wasn’t understandable, why kids liked to do that.

Suddenly Sophia really wanted to execute one of her favorite hobbies: Drawing. It might be a little strange, but sometimes she just had the impulse to do something. And that was just one of those times. She took out her drawing pad and began to draw a winter scenery. Therefor she used a pencil.
While she did that she asked Emily a question, just to get to know her a little better. Information could always be useable, for anything you want to do. So she used this chance to ask: “So, as I can clearly see you don’t really like the cold season. So, what do you usually do at that time? I suppose you are not at the fire place all the time?”.

Emily did listen what other girl said. She wasn't really interested why she liked that white thing on the grass called snow. She won't never liked it. That just makes your clothes wet and so on but yeah Em here doesn't like it at all.

"Oh I see. You can go then and fun when they aren't there anymore," she said there with very emotionless voice right now. She couldn't br happy or sad about it. Shd just decided to have no emotions in it would be best for sure. She is one weird girl for sure.

When that Sophia asked what she is doing in her free time. "I take walks when there isn't raining or snowing on the grounds, wonder around castle. What ever I'm up when I feel bored. There always finds something to do," she said there now. She wasn't sure how to answer for that question now.

Sophia listened to Emily while she talked about her free time. It didn’t really seem as if that girl was very communicative. Well, maybe it’ll come after a while. But for that moment she probably wanted silence, or something in that type.

So Sophia just sat there and focused her thoughts on the picture she was drawing. It wasn’t ready yet, but you already could see the scenery going on there. However there were still some things Sophia wanted to draw, so she just went on drawing her picture without looking around. She was now in a totally different world, she just wanted to express her feelings.

Actually she was quite fast at drawing, so her picture got ready very fast. In her oppinion you really could feel the loneliness she wanted to express in that pic. It was just as grey and dark as she had wanted it to be.

Sophia looked back into the fire and thought about what she just had drawn. It was probably a scenery she already knew at a very young age. It was the fantasy she already had back then. Some things just didn’t change, even after all those years with all that development.
Sophia smiled emotionless and leaned back into her chair again.

Emily looked at the girl and wonderes what she was drawing now there. She herself wasn't that good drawer at all. Okay she can desing clothes but she can't draw people or nature well. Girl did sigh on her thought now there. She looked out of window for a second and saw even few of her friends there. She maybe should have gone with them.

"What are you drawing there?" She asked now. These quiet moments she wantrd to kill. She had began to hate them. She waanted to talk with so much as possible. "You are pretty good at drawing," she had to say even out then now.

"I hang out with friends too on my free time but they all went out side to play with snow," she said when she remembered that free time activity too. She haven't lately hang out with them much. They seem busy always.

Sophia was still drawing her picture quietly when Em raised her voice again. Sophia smiled and said to her: “Well, I got inspired by the scenery from outside. Now I am drawing it, see?” Sophia was quite proud of herself when hearing the compliment the other girl gave. “Thanks”, she answered, “I really like to draw because you can express your feelings. And you also can determine everything”.

Suddenly Emily started continuing the conversation which stopped before. Sophia was really happy about that, because she really loved to talk to someone and she somehow liked that girl she was now talking to. So Sophia replied: “Do your friends really play with snow? I mean, I like snow but I would never play with it. Like, I hate snowball fights and all that kind of stuff, you know”.

Sophia was now quite happy for having someone to talk to. Now her picture was as good as ready. She finished it and said: “So, now I am ready. Another picture in my portfolio. What about you? Do you also draw sometimes?”

Emily nodded her head. She couldn't draw that good, except it was doing clothes desing. Then she was good but drawing view or animals or humans not so good at all. "Oh cool. Looks good for real," she said once again and ahe really did mean it.

She nodded her head once again. "Yeah they did. Don't ask me why or what made them go there. I didn't wanna go so they went out with out me," she said there now and sighed. She didn't really like that idea they left her here all alone until thia girl came here. Who could give her company for awhile at least.

"I can draw but just clothes desings. No animals or humans or such views like you just did," she said there now. Shw wasn't really good at anything excpet shopping and partying. "I can show you them if you want," she had to say then there. She wanted to know someones opinion actually, with who she wasn't close yet.

It's more fun together than alone (Liz) Empty Re: It's more fun together than alone (Liz)

Emily really seemed to be a nice girl. However Sophia was a little distrustful about her because she already knew her in some kind of way. She was in Sophia’s house, she was in Slytherin just as Sophia was and those people weren’t just some nice girls, no, they were different. Sophia was still curious about her, because she knew that the girl could also be different.
But for the moment the 14-year-old artist forgot about that thought and listened to what the other girl said. Emily’s friends didn’t really seem as grown as they should be at their age. Honestly, playing with snow is definitely not what a girl of their age should do in their free time. Well, maybe she was a little far in her development than other people were, but Emily was quite grown as well. In Sophia's oppinion 14-year-old people weren't children anymore, they were teenagers. And teenagers should slowly get grown to be ready to be an adult when it is time. But maybe some other people didn't really think that way. Too bad...
Sophia smiled about that thought. Then Emily raised her voice again. She said that she actually could draw, but only clothes. Now Sophia really got curious and answered to her question if she could show her some designs: “Yeah, of course! I would love to see some of your designs”. Sophia realized that her voice was friendlier than she wanted it to be. Usually she wasn’t really that kind but maybe this time she really was interested in something new. Hopefully Emily’s designs are as good as she says, Sophia thought and smiled.
