Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Time to Go Empty Time to Go

Post by Khaat Lupin Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:16 pm

The attack took them both by surprise. They were in the alley, leaving St. Mungos. It would be sunrise in the next hour. It seemed safe enough. Marcus was with her, and he was alert. She was too tired to be very alert anymore.

BANG! The next thing she knew, something akin to a locomotive slammed into her and Marcus, blindsiding them both. She felt claws and pain and then felt herself herself flying through the air backwards. She heard Marcus cry out sharply, and she knew he was hurt. She hit concrete. Solid, unyielding concrete.

"Run!" she heard Marcus shout to her. "Run, damnit!"

She glanced up and saw that James had him by the throat, holding him up off the ground, against a brick wall. Marcus had a strong grip on James' forearms. She couldn't exactly get her bearings. She felt sticky and guessed she was bleeding somewhere. Besides that, she'd die with Marcus than to ever leave without him.

"You have interfered with me just too many times, Belby," the mountainous werewolf growled. He wasn't entirely transformed, but not far from it. "Its time you were out of my way."

"You'll forgive me if I don't give up without a fight," Marcus responded hatefully. He kicked James with all his might in the groin. James was momentarily distracted and outraged. He dropped Marcus. Marcus was making a leap towards Khaat, when James grabbed him by the back of his jacket and lifted him off his feet.

Marcus hit the distress signal on his jacket, knowing Khaat would never run. She would never leave him, no matter what.

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Post by Miseria Lupin Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:28 pm

Miseria was free this day which meant that she did not care what was going on in the Ministry or the lives of the people surrounding her. The only thing that mattered to her currently was little Dakota Khaat Lupin with whom she was spending her time. They were just cleaning up the table when she heard the distress signal.

She stood up straight and looked at her daughter. "Its time for you to go and take a nap, darling." Little Dakota did not argue. She knew that her mother had to disappear from time to time, which left her usually an impression that she wasn't truly her real mother figure, but she did not complain. She had her grandmother who took a good care of her. Quickly Miseria guided Dakota to her room where she changed and went to bed. Miseria, however, had no time to wish her sweet dreams for she grabbed her wand and disappeared from the house and appeared nearby where the signal came from.

It took her a moment or two to realize where it came from and as fast as she could, she rushed there only to see Khaat and Marcus being attacked by a severely dismorphed man. She could tell that it was a werewolf. Taking out her want and pointing it at James' back, she fired Sectumsempra right at him.

"How about a bone?" she questioned loudly before sneaking closer to her mother, ready to fire more and more spells.

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Post by Jack Black Heart Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:51 pm

Jack didn't wait he was half way threw a bread roll when he felt and saw the medallions glow. Glow he saw the others nod and he ported out of the main area he knew he was staking a risk as appearing in broad daylight as a were he would be arrested but right now his duty kicked in.

Appearing at the entrance to the alley Jack was hit by the smell and he have a growl. "your back my Brother" He said and ran as fast as he could into it his muscles tense as his nails changed to claws as he moved closer. Now he saw Mis there with Khaat and Marcus was being held by his jacket he dove forward and with a swipe he slashed Marcus's jacket clean put of James hand.

"Ah Brother, I see you came back!!" He called out as he dropped the piece of cloth. " what is it, does your pea brain not understand the concept of leave her alone." He glanced to Mis " Get them safe, leave my brother to me" he said seeing Marcus on the ground behind him he heard two more arrive but he didn't turn to see who they were only knew that they must have been sent to help.

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Post by James Blood Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:08 pm

James felt the deep slash of a sectumsempra from behind. Well, that would change his time table a bit tonight. A woman's voice, challenging him. He spun to see the redhead slinking towards Khaat. He grinned, amused.

"I like bones--to gnaw on," James said to her, relishing a new challenge. "Maybe I'll try yours next." And then the next thing he knew, Belby was being ripped from him. Belby fell to the ground and quickly positioned himself with Khaat and the redheaded newcomer.

"Be very careful," Belby said to the redheaded woman.

James heard the annoying voice of his little brother, challenging him again..

He turned, annoyed. "Really?" he asked sarcastically. "Keep making this your business, and you're going to get hurt, Shorty. Why don't you run along home now, and let me finish my hunting?

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Post by Miseria Lupin Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:31 pm

Miseria pursed her lips when she saw the man turn around. If she'd be lucky, he'd target her for the next few minutes and that would be enough for Khaat and Marcus to get away. Currently she did not care for her own wellbeing or even life. Why would she, anyway? She never was that type of person even if she had people who loved and cared about her.

She smiled at James and whistled loudly. The look in her eyes confirmed that she accepted the challenge. "You are welcome to try," she answered before turning to Jack, who suggested that he'd deal with the werewolf and she'd take Khaat and Marcus to safety. Thinking for a moment, she shook her head, but before she could reply, she heard James speak again.

"Don't worry about me," she whispered to Belby before glancing at Jack:"Leave this one to me."

"Chocolate boy!" she called out, pointing her wand at James. She left Khaat's side, distancing herself from them. "I dare you to come closer."

Jack laughed out loud " and I will always keep doing it until I stand over your dead corpse, I did with our so called mother and sisters I will with you. " He growled at him. He saw Mis and heard her he wanted nothing but to rip out Jame's throat but he also knew Khaat and Marcus was his main priority. He moved behind Mis and sighed "Another time, Brother I promise you that" he said and moved over to Khaat.

Kneeling down he looked at her then Marcus cursing under his breath. "Khaat can you stand?" He asked but he knew that he had to get Marcus to St Mungo's. "Mis don't let him get behind you." He called to her and glared at James.

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Marcus was trying to pull himself together. He knew he needed to get Khaat out. There was blood, but he didn't know if it was Khaat's or his or both. Jack and Mis had them covered.

"I think I can get it," Marcus said to Jack, struggling to his feet. He looked at Khaat. "Come on. We can't sit here. We've got to go." He put his hands under her shoulders and pulled her to her feet. She winced. "Did he get your shoulder again?" he asked. She nodded. He sighed. "Can you stand?" She nodded. "Your...." he started, looking at Mis.

"She can handle herself," Khaat said, knowing this was right up Mis's and Jack's alley.. She glanced at Jack and then back at Marcus. "You and I are the ones outnumbered here, Marcus. You and she are alright with this?" she asked Jack. Marcus didn't know that Mis was a werewolf too. 3 werewolves meant that the two humans were outpowered.

Marcus frowned, not understanding. Khaat was okay leaving her daughter? That was so unlike her that Marcus couldn't begin to comprehend it. He realized he was missing something.

"While you negotiate," James laughed, amused, "I'll deal with the fresh bait you brought." He sized up Mis.

"You think," Khaat said sarcastically, knowing better

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

She smirked when she heard Khaat's statement. It was good to hear that the woman had enough confidence in her daughter which made her feel even better. It was almost euphoric.
Her eyes never left James and she smirked widely when he addressed her. "What ever you say, chocolate boy," she responded happily. Finally something fun to do!

Dancing a bit closer, she eyed the man who seemed like a giant compared to her. He was at least twice the size of her, not to mention that he also was quite muscled and obviously strong.

The stentch of blood gave away that he also fed from the raw meat which made the situation even funnier: she too had tendencies towards the raw meat and occasionally even blood. Regardless of them being enemies now, she felt a small connection.

She fired a disarming spell at James only to mock him further and to get his attention only to herself.

Jack was glad when Marcus got to his feet and took Khaat up again. He listened to them but watched Mis . " yes, we can handle him, Marcus get her out and to a healer Marcus" He said watching James " I'll follow in a moment, he motioned to the other man to help them.

He faced his brother and watch mis fire a spell at James watching how he seemed amused at Mis. He was puzzled when she gave James a nickname why was she doing that. " Mis, don't fall for his charms, he would soon as rip your heart out with his bare hands, hes a cold hearted twisted killer." Jack told her " Trust me when I tell you this, we're blood kin, to my shame."

Time to Go Empty Re: Time to Go

Post by Marcus Belby Sun Oct 19, 2014 8:32 pm

"Be careful, Mis," Khaat said. "He's got a case of bloodlust."  Although she was sure Mis had heard of it, Khaat didn't know if Mis had ever seen a werewolf that had gone far enough to have the blood driven obsession called bloodlust, but Khaat knew that made James not just dangerous, but it was what drove him to be obsessed with killing and blood--Khaat's own blood, to be specific.  And it made him, so far, utterly unstoppable.

James strode over to her and gripped Khaat hard by her jaw.  "The only one that affects is you," he hissed menancingly, his hot breath on her face.

"You need a mint," she scowled at him, not willing to let him see her fear. She knew he could kill her instantly.

"Get your hands off her!" Marcus admired her fighting spirit, but he wasn't standing for James having his hands on her. He'd seen too many times how it usually came out.  He fired his wand into James and blasted him back several feet, knocking him to the ground.  He wrapped his arm around Khaat's waist. He nodded briefly to Jack and Mis. Marcus's first responsibility was to Khaat.  "Time to go," he said softly, and he ported her out--as James was picking himself up again off the ground.

James turned and looked at Mis and Jack, with an eerie grin. "Well, now that we'll be uninterrupted, shall we play?"
