A Cancerous Toad Empty A Cancerous Toad

Post by Gordan Gray III Mon Apr 14, 2014 1:58 am

Today is the day, today is the day! Gordan sang to himself in his head. He was practically skipping down the corridors, a big dorky grin on his face and his hands swinging joyously at his sides, making him look like some silly jogger. Today was going to be the greatest day of his life, a day unlike any other! Ironic enough, that place was in the detention room. Before you happen to get any strange ideas, here's why he was so happy to be alive right now.

Basically, two days ago he had the ultimate misfortune of running into an Airy Daniels, a self entitled and smug asshole who decided to take Gordan down a notch by nearing raping his lips, robbing him of his innocence. So he decided from that moment on he would do nothing until his lust for revenge was sated. That being said, he spent every waking moment, not even eating, sleeping, and nearly not bathing as he devised his most ingenius plan to date! The first rung on this revenge latter required him to be in the same room as the Soulless, a task not too hard to aquire. Having become good aquantices with a Professor Cooper, he managed to successfully lie his way into saying that the Soulless had physically assaulted him on his way back to common rooms, a task easily believeable by the large amount of blood flowing from his nose (Thank you Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes for that wonderful Nosebleed Nougat!)

With phase one down to a science, he proceded the second part of his mastermind plan. He needed a way for her to shut up! So in order to do that, he followed the Soulless for some time, finding the location where she purchased her rather abnormal gum and replaced one of the packages there with a prototype item: one that would glue her mouth shut for 12 hours before the effects even considered wearing off. It was a tricky plan indeed, but after persuading the local shopkeeper to swap the products as she bought them, he was sure her mouth would be glued shut...considering she chewed gum like she needed air.

Then, for the final part of his plan: he needed to be there in order to execute the climax move! Again, with the help of a Professor Cooper, he offered to watch over said delinquent so she wouldn't pull any funny business. After dealing with Ms. Nott a day earlier, the aging professor was more than happy to oblige in his request! Now, with each part of the plan done, all he had to do was wait for the demented Soulless in the detention room...something he was absolutely giddy for. He knew for a fact her mouth was closed shut, just this morning, he had witnessed her place the prank item into her mouth and chew on it, right as she was eating her breakfast! She couldn't even finish it, nor upcoming lunch as well! She had to be starving!

A tainted grin on his face, Gordan opened the door to the detention room, absolutely cleared out for today's session. The professors wouldn't trust Soulless alone by herself, and with a guardian nearby, they had no reason to fear. They trusted Gordan, they had no idea his plan was already in motion. Stepping inside, he walked precariously over to one of the desks, the closet one to the door. Pulling his rucksack off his shoulder, he quickly peered inside to examine the following items: a book about mythical creatures, a bubble gun (don't ask how he got it), a pack of cards, a whistle, among other assortments packed in as well. He rummaged through the items for a moment before pulling out a footlong name card, with a word scribbled on the front.

'Soulless'

He began to cackle manically as he placed the namecard down on the desk, taking a seat on one of the adjacant chairs nearby. This would be good. No way in hell would she be leaving without feel some sort of pain. And he would be there to watch all of it. The thought of it itself began to tickle his insides, he was actually enjoying this as much as he thought he would! God, a magical leprachan could sail down from the heavens and he wouldn't even take notice of it. No, this was the moment, the peak of pleasure. He would destroy this woman as she had tried to destroy him. She would remember the name 'Gordan Maximillion the Third' and tremble before him from now on! It was personal, and she was doomed!

Kicking his feet up next to the namecard, his fingers pressed together slightly to give him an evil mastermind look, he stared at the only entrance in and examined the time. She would be here soon.

Another smirk was plastered on his face: the game was on.

A Cancerous Toad Empty Re: A Cancerous Toad

Post by Aurora Daniels Mon Apr 14, 2014 2:30 am

Airy was distressed and confused and bitter. Someone had managed to jinx her gum so it glued her mouth shut for who knew how long. Of course she had gone to the nurse, but she had basically just told her to wait it off, and get some food from the kitchens when she could open her mouth, giving her a note to give to her teachers so she could get out of answering questions for the day. Now Airy had been given detention for some asshole saying she had given them a nosebleed!

It had been weeks since she had given anyone a nose bleed! Let alone someone on the way to the loo, how was she have supposedly done it anyway? But it didn't matter, the teachers all hated her anyway and were too happy to throw her into detention with no way for her to defend herself. They were as biased against Slytherin's as the rest of the school. Airy had gone through the day with only a scowl on her face as she stomped from class to class, giving the teacher the letter and slamming her books down at her usual desk in the back of each classroom.

She had taken to clicking her fingers impatiently just for something to produce sound with, it was distressing and annoying, and she was prepared to jinx anyone who felt the urge to laugh, luckily her death glares were enough to keep people pointedly avoiding her gaze, and her wand in her hand continued to flicker off green and silver sparks so everyone could see she was furious.

After a day of excruciating anger in silence, Airy had had to skip lunch and dinner due to her inability to even open her mouth, and the smell of the food was pure torture, she had almost considered skipping her detention, but unfortunately for her, while sneaking off to go hide out in the owlry she had run into a professor who knew she had detention and immediately sent her packing, actually escorting her to the detention room himself, and holding the door open for her while she stomped into the room and flung her bag on the nearest chair, not even bothering to take note of the other person in the room.

Her rage made her ignore the little card he had set out, as she slammed down into a chair nearest the door, and kicked her feet up on the desk. She was wearing her tattered skirt, her long Slytherin scarf, and her pink-streaked hair lay in waves around her face, her eyeliner black and thick around her eyes, with a bright green eye-shadow to further emphasis the point that she was a Slytherin to anyone who doubted it.

Airy finally decided to take notice of the other person in the room, and her expression turned stony in an instant. So this is what this was all about, that bratty Ravenclaw who she had kissed on the stairs a couple days ago. Was this some sort of revenge then? Was he messing with her to such an extent as to have her thrown in detention and glueing her mouth shut?!

Airy jumped to her feet in an instant and started to make wild angry gestures at him, before pulling her wand and advancing menacingly towards him, sparks shooting out the end of it, but not much more, for she hadn't really learned non-verbal magic yet, nor mastered it on her own. Her brain was screaming in anger as she gestured towards him, clenching her fist and waving it wildly while she did. "You little A******! How dare you get me thrown in detention! How dare you tamper with my gum! Are you kidding me!? I bothered you for one day and you seem determined to take me down! Is that what you want? Well come at me! I'll take you down with my bare hands, without this stupid wand." Her mind screamed, but all that came out was muffled angry sounds, and then she threw her wand down and held up her fists.

She was angry, angrier then she had been in a long time, and there were no teachers in here, just him, and she was about to go crazy on him, if only she could use her wand! She'd be able to at least jinx him into next week!

Laughing uproariously as he took a step back from the obviously enraged Soulless, Gordan only kept a fiery gaze on her, his confidence and anger soaring through the roof as he stared her down. No, this was a fight she could not win, everything was against her. She was only a fourth year, she couldn't have possibly learned how to use nonverbal magic at her degree of learning. There was also a desk separating the two of them, even if she tried to attack him, he would merely run out into the hallway, screaming and crying that a madwoman was on the loose.

"I wouldn't try that if I were you," he said, wagging his finger in a rather comical manner "do you know how much trouble you'd be in if you even thought about doing anything?"

He smiled wickedly, teeth showing and nostrils flaring, a sadistic look in his eyes. He leaned against one of the desks nearby and crossed his arms, the sadistic expression still locked on his face. "You should know that I get good grades. Damn good grades. Grades that automatically lock me in as a trustworthy student. You know far trustworthy students go in a school like this? Very far. The instructors trust us, no, they actually respect us for being so diligent and studious. I've even gone as far as kissing ass so they all liked me. How do you think I'm even here right now?"

Moving away from the desk, he began to slide his fingers on the desktopsas he began to walk around, the tips barely touching the surface as he continued his slow pace. "I asked the professor that assigned you this detention for the opportunity to watch over you. And you know what? She even gave me a free pass on homework so that I'd have this opportunity." He finished his casual stroll about four desk down, doing the same thing over again, but in the other direction.

"Must be difficult to speak, right? Oh yeah, that gum you're chewing is rigged," he said with another evil glare in his eyes "My specialty of course. I have connections you can't even possibly know about. Want to know why?"

He got as close as he could to her, squinting as he eyed her down "I'm actually nice to people!" He backed away before she even had a thought about punching him. "So you see, now we do things my way." He walked over to the instructors desk and leaned against it, eyeing her down. "School is in session children, and if you even think about assaulting a teacher, you may have to deal with the police." He grinned toothily again as he watched her. Her anger was mesmerizing, this was exactly what he was hoping for! Chuckling shortly to himself before walking back over to his seat, he gestured towards the nametag, turned away from her view.

"Now class, if you wouldn't mind checking your nameplate, I'm sure you'll like my little seating arrangement. I really hope you do, otherwise I might be hurt." He put on a rather weak puppy dog face, mimicking a rather small child that didn't have it his way. "They'll never take your word for this, y'know? Do anything that might piss me off and you'll be sitting in this room with me until I graduate. And you know what? I might actually enjoy it..." He got close again, as if baiting a giant fish "friend." He proceeded to back up and sit down in his chair as usual, just imagining her next response.

Airy could feel her hair getting frizzy from the amount of magic pent up inside her, just waiting to be expelled from every direction as she glared him down, her wand shooting sparks at a rate that was slightly concerning, but they just went out on the cold floor so there was no harm done. His grin was unbearable as she glared him down, he looked so smug, as though all his plans had worked out perfectly, and she wasn't going to give him a moment of satisfaction.

That was until he started to talk, her wand fell to her side as he grinned at her, the sparks shooting off in random directions, hitting the floor and flying off at weird angles before going out. She had to hand it to him, he had guessed her right pretty well. He knew she didn't have good grades, mostly cause she didn't go to class, he had noticed her love of gum, and rigged it, he had gone so far as to talk to a professor to get out of homework just so he could torture her alone in this room.

His face was so close to hers all of a sudden she could feel his breath hit her face, but before she could swing at him, he moved away and continued talking. "This.. piece of.." He was milking it for all he was worth, pulling every string he thought would get her to pay attention and feel horrible. Well she was done giving him that satisfaction, so when he went to the desk and started to pretend to be teacher, she moved to a chair as far from the 'Soulless' nametag as she could get, sat down, kicked her feet up on the desk, and leaned back, bringing one hand over her eyes.

If she could just ignore him for the entire class, and not give him a reason to go get a professor, well.. maybe she'd survive this ordeal and be able to move on from his little games. She had been having fun with him the other day, and she figured a kid like that would get over it in a manner of hours, wrapped up in his little books and homework, but here he was, sitting with her in detention, obviously not worried about anything but bothering her.

Well she wouldn't let him get away with it, her jaw was aching from being stuck in one position all day, her stomach was growling from lack of food for an entire day, and she was sick of this childish nonsense. Wasn't he older than her? She wasn't sure, but he was a lot taller then her, so why was he acting like a twelve year old who just got to see the kid he didn't like get a bad grade on a test.

She leaned back in her chair and smiled slightly, ignoring his words, her wand shooting sparks across the desk occasionally at the mention of the word 'friend' but otherwise she did her hardest to ignore the annoying sound of his voice.

Perfect. She was indiscriminately without a doubt infuriated right now, evidence being the sparks foaming from her wand. She was easy to read like a book when it came to her anger and now, he had a perfect victim for his newly thought out onslaught. The hard part was done, now all Gordan to do was just enjoy himself. Torture this woman as best as he could without physically harming her. Maybe it would take some time, but he was sure he'd find a way to make this moment last forever in his mind. However, he needed to unfold the first part of his ultimate plan.

Smirking as she obviously tried to hide herself from this ruthless tyrant, Gordan walked slowly over to his bag, making sure each and every step was audible enough for her to hear 10 kilometers away. Grabbing the opening of his rucksack, he made an obnoxiously fake yawn that sounded more like a groan and said "You know what? I'm in a pretty foul mood right now. I spent soooo much time planning all this, I actually missed one of the most important things of today...of any day, really." Rummaging through his sack, he pulled out a small platter made of silver and noisly sat it down on a desk, some feet away from Airy. Taking a seat down after making a large creaking sound on the floor with the chair, Gordan opened up the platter, revealing some bacon pieces, biscuits and scrambled eggs on the plate. It was also jumbled together from being in his rucksack, but still edible nevertheless.

Grabbing one of the biscuits, he quickly shoved it into his mouth, chewing with his mouth closed but his jaw moving up and down in an exaggerated way. "See," he said, enjoying the taste of the warm biscuit in his mouth "breakfast is very important. Provides energy for dealing with rather harsh things throughout the day. A failed test, an angry person, all these things." He shot her a rather accomplished looking glance at the Soulless and continued. "I'd offer you a few of these, but I think you're got enough on your mind, and in your mouth, as it was." He continued to eat the breakfast as he continued, starting to feel stuffed from the excess food. Truth be told, he already ate breakfast, but because of him talking with Professor Cooper, he managed to lie and secure another plate of food. A wondrous move on his part.

Not even finishing the platter, he reached into his rucksack and pulled out the book on mythical creatures. He smiled as he ran his fingers along the cover, feeling the leather bound textures on his fingertips. "I called you a lot of names the other day," he said casually, his voice losing its arrogant tone as he continued "Well, I called you a lot of things inside my head, wish I had said them out loud. But, I actually ran out of things. So I got this book here, if 'Soulless' doesn't fit you, why don't you help me point out something that does."

Flipping open the book, he instantly pointed his finger on one of the pages and gasped loudly. "Succubus!" he stated mockingly "that sounds excellent...don't you agree, Airy? By the way, I also know your real name is Aurora. Don't ask how, I just do."

He was enjoying this more than he should've.

A Cancerous Toad Empty Re: A Cancerous Toad

Post by Aurora Daniels Mon Apr 14, 2014 3:36 am

The smell of food was almost enough to make Aurora lift her head from where it was, it almost broke her actually, she almost looked up, and if her lips had been able to open, she'd have licked her lips. "Are you kidding me right now? You made it impossible for me to eat, so you're gonna sit there and stuff your face!" Her stomach was growling loudly now, she'd not eaten much yesterday from a stomach ache, and had planned on breakfast that morning, only to be denied it, and lunch, and dinner, and she was starting to feel the affects of it.

Aurora's stomach growled loudly enough for the entire room to hear it, and she casually laid one arm across her stomach, her other arm still up, hiding her face from view as she tried hard not to give in to his taunting. The smell of bacon was overwhelming, and she could literally hear his jaw moving up and down with each bite as he exaggerated every move, knowing perfectly well that her stomach was now shaking with anger for not being able to have any.

She heard the ruffle of paper and and resisted to urge to look at what he was doing, forcing herself to stay leaned back in the chair, trying to work her jaw out of the rough shape it was in, it was killing her, and she couldn't help but reach up and gently rub it as she worked it up and down, wondering just how long this gum would last. He said he had made it himself, or at the very least knew someone who had made it. She had the idea that he probably wasn't going to starve her to death, but it was long enough to make her want to groan aloud.

Suddenly she understood what he had in his hand, but she ignored him again. He could call her all the names he wanted, if it made him feel better. She had been called worse, especially better than Succubus, if she remembered correctly those were women with wings. She wouldn't mind wings actually, it'd be pretty cool to be able to just fly away and rest on a mountain top somewhere and be away from this lunatic.

She made a snorting sound once, letting her chair legs fall back on the floor as she slowly leaned up so she could look at him, instead of avoiding his gaze, she stared straight into his eyes, attempting to get him to look away with the force of her glare only.

A Cancerous Toad Empty Re: A Cancerous Toad

Now having her in his gaze, Gordan refused to back down from this challenge. Instead, he shifted the book from the top of the desk onto his lap, leaning forward to gaze even deeper into her rather infuriated eyes. "Succubi are in legend," he stated, sounding like a machine from a museum "women who had become demons! These demons ultimately end up becoming barren, yet long to reproduce! They are described as assaulting men and children in the night, robbing them of their innocence before spiriting away! They are rather popular in local legends, tales of men getting a quick one as they sleep."

Purposely looking away from the woman, and satisfied by his little lecture, he slammed the book down onto the desk once more, his platter jumping up a little from the shock. He grabbed another biscuit and slowly bite down on it, making the bread slowly deform as his teeth caved into it. Pulling away a large chunk into his mouth, he slowly chewed, trying to make each and every little motion drive her more and more insane. Once he was finished, he continued "Sounds about right. At least in my opinion. Just happened to show up from nowhere, like a bat out of hell and forcing yourself upon me. Sickening, really. I wasn't impressed and didn't even enjoy that matter. Why some demented succubus decided to swoop down and acquire my seed is just beyond mere thought."

He stood up, grabbing another biscuit from the tray, walking slowly over to where she sat. "You enjoyed toying with me, right?" he said, a hint of malice lodged in his voice as he stared in her eyes "I don't like being toyed with. I'd had enough of it after a group of girls convinced me that someone actually thought of me in a romantic way." He moved his hand closer to her head, making sure the warm biscuit would fill her nostrils, no matter what. "Now, I'd had already gotten over that. I cried, maybe even felt a little bad about myself afterwords, but I became a better man because of it."

Whisking away the biscuit, he tossed the bread in his hand to the side, the large piece clattering on the floor and seperating into different small parts. "Now, I refuse to allow myself to be tormented by anyone. That one moment was a weakness, I'll admit. I allowed myself to be overtaken by some siren and she had gotten the better of me. Now..." he walked back over to 'his' desk and sat down, staring into her eyes once more. "Now, I am the master of my own domain, I choose who I get to be friends with, I decide what fate people shall receive, if anyone tries to get the better of me...well..."

He kicked his feet up onto the desk, leaning his head back and smiling blissfully. "Well, you see what happens. I get to toy with you instead. I'm having a lot of fun actually. I think I'll make it so every pack of gum has those little 'gifts' inside...your favorite brand, that is." Slowly lowering his head, he opened his eyes and met her gaze and began to chuckle. This was a time for him to relax again, but he had a new 'friend' to enjoy it with.

He was only just getting started.

"Okay.. this dude is insane."

It was the only thought that crossed Airy's mind as he spoke, brought the food under her nose, made her stomach lurch with hunger, but she ignored it, only glaring at him instead, her eyes focusing hard on his, trying to figure out how someone could be so viciously cruel. She had toyed with him two days ago, that was it, nothing more, nothing less. She had kissed him on the cheek in a sort of silly manner, and he was acting like she had downright raped him.

Her eyes widened as he spoke, and she couldn't help but feel a slight fear grip onto her stomach. This dude was absolutely nuts, how did he manage to do well in school? How had no one seen just how downright crazy he was?! There were bound to be some other people bullying the stupid Ravenclaw, or maybe they had learned their lesson early and Airy had missed the memo.

Nah.. she was sure she'd have heard a memo like that, it'd be all over the school in a matter of moments, some lunatic Ravenclaw, forcing a girl to starve all day, only to throw her in detention and put biscuits under her nose. Nah.. this was just downright torture, there was no other way to describe it. This guy had to be like that old guy a long time ago, Volde-what's-it. Or that guy not too long ago, Barker.

Maybe he studied those guys? Was using his influence to take over the world or some crazy sh*t. She had to hand it to him, he had the whole crazy glint going on, his eyes were flashing in ways that shouldn't be humanly possible. He was nuts! Airy finally had enough of this, and suddenly stood up, pointing her finger at him, then at herself, then making a cutting motion across her throat before she grabbed her bag off the table and started to head towards the door.

She'd go demand that a nurse figure out how to make her mouth open, and then she'd tell the entire school about this crazy Ravenclaw who got too much pleasure out of trying to torture girls younger then him in detention. She'd ruin him, that's for sure, she just had to get out of there with her body still intact.

Post by Gordan Gray III Mon Apr 14, 2014 4:31 am

Gordan began laughing as she threatened him and began to storm off. This was too easy, she kept falling into pithole after pithole. She just couldn't accept the fact that he won this afternoon. Leaning up against the instructor's desk again, he smiled grimly and spoke, almost in a singsong manner.

"You do realize they'd never believe you, right?" he said, almost assured that'd make her stop. "Sure, the gum, that was one thing. Everyone saw us arguing, everyone knows we have bad blood. A prank would almost be assured in the professors eyes. Fine, I'll take the heat on that one, one detention out of the other dozens of that pull tricks on people every day."

He took a step away from the desk and merely looked at the Soulless, one hand in his pocket, the other relaxing on his body. "You on the other hand are a different story." He took a step back over towards his seat, never shifting his composure. "You're the problem child of Hogwarts. Everyone knows that. When someone is assaulted, the first person people blame is you."

He placed a hand on his desk and began to lean against his, his cool smirk never leaving his face. "I know what you've done, I've done the research. Panic attacks in the hallways, multiple counts of assault. You're quite the interest in the Auror's eyes, a violent child prone to be a nuisance to people in society. I myself on the other hand am a polite and well educated person, never a scratch on his record, never even a single stroke out of place. Who'd they'd believe?"

"Sure, go to the headmaster, tell him your story. He'll just come to me and I'll put on my most confused face. 'All I did was just watch her. Even offered some food, which she knocked out of my hand.'" He gestured towards the discarded biscuit on the ground, close to the Soulless' feet. "Here's the thing though." His expression quickly loosened, his stance returning to a more normal approach and he walked casually over to her, his face returning to the rather blank slate that it normally would be in.

"I'm willing to forget everything that's happened. Everything. I'll even put in a good word for you to the instructors, who were already considering throwing you to Durmstrung just so you were out of their hairs. 'The honor student vouching for a troublemaker', I could do that."

He merely stood about a foot in front of her, showing no signs of aggression or fear. Just the same, standard look and emotion that he gave everybody else. "All I want is an apology. Just a simple 'I apologize for acting so viciously towards you' and this all gets swept away, plus a few good points towards school. Use the favors I'd give you in any way you wished, get yourself out of trouble, pass a test or two, I can make it happen."

Stepping back a few feet, he put on his demented gaze again, his eyes wild and fiery as if searching for prey "...or you can let me make your life a living hell. Your choice." Reverting to his old manners, he walked back over to his rucksack, a small vial filled with purple liquid doused with white specks on the inside. "They gave me this adhesive remover, just in case things got out of hand. Splash this on the gum and it's instantly removed." Holding it in his palm, he quickly dropped it, barely catching it by the tips of his fingers once more. "Just a simple apology, and all of this could be yours."

A Cancerous Toad Empty Re: A Cancerous Toad

Post by Aurora Daniels Mon Apr 14, 2014 4:47 am

She was nearly to the door when his voice made her freeze in her tracks. She stood with her back to him, her shoulders hunched slightly, her hands quivering in anger as he spoke. What right did he have to say such things to her? Where did he get the gall to attack her like this? She was teasing him! Like she had done to people of her own house repeatedly, and he went absolutely nuts! But he did have a point...

No one would believe her.. she was a problem child, a girl with no real past, no real future, and a bad record, and she had taken on a perfect Ravenclaw who everyone liked. He had the upper hand, and she knew it. She closed her eyes hard, hoping this was all a bad dream, it was like the world had suddenly come crashing down on her, he realization that he had gotten her, her past, her future, her sister..

She squeezed her eyes shut even harder, bringing her hands to her chest, her bag falling to the floor beside her as she did, she covered her face in her hands and tried to regain her composure, but it was too late, a breakdown was coming and she could feel it, starting from her toes. But quite suddenly, she felt a tug on her arm, and her eyes flew open, to see her sister standing in front of her.

She reached out towards the figure, smiling, taking a small step forward towards her. She couldn't speak, but she watched the little girl stick her tongue out at the boy behind her, and grin in a lopsided way. She had a little scar above her right eye, which had been there since she was a baby. It was funny cause she hadn't heard the door open to let her in, but sometimes her sister was like that, sneaking into a room with no way to actually get in.

Airy reached out and pulled her sister to her chest, the little girl always knew when Airy was in trouble and came running from wherever she was to try and help her. She grinned and wrapped her arms around Airy, letting her know it would be okay. Airy vaguely heard what the boy was saying behind her, too wrapped up in the comfort her sister gave her, before suddenly she heard him reach for a bottle and she realized she'd be able to get away scott free if she just sucked up her pride and apologized.

Well that wouldn't be too hard.

Airy turned around, her hands shaking hard as she sort of hid her sister behind her, glaring at the boy, she nodded once, small tears on her face, even though she had tried so hard to make them go away. Her whole body was trembling, not only with hunger, but with anger, and sadness, but at least she had her sister now, everything would be okay with her sister there. She nodded at the boy, and pulled her sister around in front of her, guarding her with her arms as she walked towards him.

"Fine I will!"

She grunted past the gum in her mouth, glaring at him. There was no way he could get her to apologize without her being able to speak anyway.

There was only one thing very very wrong with the entire picture presented to Gordan. While Airy had been hugging her sister, or pulling her around in front of her.

There had been no one there. There was only Airy and Gordan in the room.
