Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Madame Parkinson-Nott was wearing a dark green gown that was laced at the back. Her hair had been set into elaborate curls that were then pinned in her hair and her make-up was exquisite thanks to the army of recruited house elves that had been awarded the task of styling the belated birthday lady.

The house elves had been busy the past few days. Every chandelier had been dusted, the wooden floors had been polished, the fireplaces resupplied and fresh coal had been stacked; the cutlery given an extra clean and the walls had been given an extra touch up. They hadn't just been working hard in the manor however. Every tulip, rosebush, conifer and hedge had been nourished, and clipped back to highlight the status of the Parkinson-Nott family. Pansy may be a year older but she certainly didn't want the other purebloods to think she was slacking for a Parkinson never slacked. Never.

Down in the kitchens, below the dining chamber, the house elves were preparing a five course meal, or several five course dishes would be precise. Unlike last year when one of the guest appeared to be allergic to caviar (oh the horror!) Pansy had decided no vomiting would be occuring this year, as a result a menu with the option of five different dishes for each course had been placed along the dining table. All the guests simply had to do was check their box with a quill and the house elves would know who would desire which meal. It was the perfect plan, a highly expensive plan. No matter the Parkinson-Nott's could afford it what with Theodore's delightful salary and no doubt Pansy would be receiving a bonus anytime soon for her next article. Oh how she would be recognised for her journalistic flair.

Theodore Nott was completely oblivious at times, wrapped right around his wife's index finger. Little did he know that she had had several affairs, including one this time last year whilst he was in the house, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the children weren't his either. Not that Pansy would know, in all honesty Allyson could be part McNair.

At five to five Pansy and her naive husband Theodore made their way tp stand outside of the manor to await their first set of guests.

Five minutes. Four minutes. Three minutes. Two minutes. One minute.

CRACK. The sound of their first guest spread across the grounds.
