What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Early Years: Tessa grew up in a broken home. She watched as her father killed her mother when she was 6 years old. SHe took care of her sister, Vanessa after that point. Protecting both her sister and herself from her fathers terror. She was abused growing up and vowed to get revenge.

Hogwarts Years: Tessa was finally able to escape her father when she began Hogwarts. But the safety never lasted. She always had to go back home for the summer where she was abused and treated like dirt. She always wanted to take Vanessa with her and run away, but never had the guts to do so.

Adulthood: After Tessa graduated Hogwarts, she left home and never went back. She gets to see her sister every once in a while around town but has not seen her father since she left. But she can still not escape him. Tessa is in constant fear of him and believes he lurks around every corner.

I've read your app, and I think she has great potential but I'm confused as to how she can be so outgoing and brave and friendly if she is so frightened that her murderous father might be around any corner.

How is it that her mother's sudden death didn't come into question by the authorities, and where is her father really? Is it a reasonable fear that he might suddenly show up? How is it that she dedicated herself to her sister and then never went back? What's the age difference between her and her sister?

There are loads of unanswered questions for me in this one. Care to enlighten me more?

Id be happy to enlighten. She is brave because she feels she had to be brave. She grew up havign to protect her and her sister, but she is still scared to detah of he rfather. Her sister is still Hogwarts age (Abotu 13) so the age difference is 5 years. Vanessa never went back for Tessa because she could not possibly take care of her on her own. She is unemployed and has no means of providing for herself and Tessa. Her father pinned her mothers death on a car accident by cutting her cars brakes. Vanessa mother is a muggle so she likes to use a car to get around (She doesnt like side apparition). She does not actually know where her father is or if he has moved since Nessa left home and took Tessa with him.

you do know she can't use a car in the wizarding world, right? its forbidden by wizarding law. she'll have to use some other means of transportation, but if she wants to drive in the muggle world, by all means.

I have some other bits i'm confused about, but, for now, I'll agree to just let you play them out a bit and see if they take shape for you once you start using her.
