Mavis Oakes

Hello everyone this is my new character Mavis Oakes. Nicknamed 'Overweight Oakes' or 'Oddball Oakes'. Simply because she carries a few extra pounds, her clothes don't fit her, she is a bit weird and says weird things. Mavis also has a scruffy look sometimes and burps,.picks her nose and other things like that in public so people are a bit grossed out by her and try to stay away.

All Mavis wants is a friend and I plan to have so much fun with her, doing the weirdest things and livening things up. - Mavis is extreamly clumsy! Any open topics that I say then Mavis may begin to invade (at the moment she doesn't have any friends by the way, she comfort eats, loves animals and house elves) because she will talk to anyone as she LOVES to be with other people.

If you really don't want Mavis to contaminate your open topics let me know now

Her debut to PA will appear in the throw-down thread. Oh and she is a fifth year in case anyone was wondering.

Also if you want her to appear in any private threads to spice things up then feel free. She is very naive and will trust anything you tell her, bless her.

Dylan is weird in his own way and loves to be around people. Right now he's kind of trying to move on with life after the death of his best friend Zandell Dawlish. But he's still a really fun person x3 He's also a musician.

Her and Molly and both fifth year Gryffies...they must have some form of relationship/something, methinks? Maybe they'd kinda get along, since they're both a bit outsider-y? Molly is a bit antisocial & such so yeah. Idk. Thoughts?

I sent you a PM with an idea and just thought of another reason why Molly may not be keen. Molly is shy and outsider-ish and Mavis is the complete opposite so could annoy Molly I don't know? But then they both like magical creatures so perhaps they get on to some extent?

haha she sounds funny and fun to hang around with! I'm sure Sarah would know her being in the same house and all! Maura Will be her friend as well, Maura used to be bullied ALOT before she was turned into a vampire so maybe her and Maura could of been bullied together at one point of another and been friends since then?

Cool. I like her having no friends at the moment but someone could bully her and she doesn't realise but Maura stands up for her and they become friends that way?

Also I would really like it if most of you kind of dislike her, frown upon her - I know not every character is shallow or whatever but there must be someone they aren't keen on whether they bully the person or not. Ravenclaws may think she is gormless,Gryffindors embarrassed that she is in their house? Slytherins just dislike her for being weird and a Gryffindor then Hufflepuff... Umm they probably are not friends with her but don't dislike her either as they're all nice as a pie haha.
I dunno, what do you guys think? I suppose each character on the board is different and may dislike her for different reasons?
