Why oh Why

No matter how much Cecilia did not want to do this she had to. She had to see Nick. So today she had to see him. She was expecting him to show up any minute. As she waited she paced back and forth uneasy about the meeting she was about to have with the newly found father of her child. The girl rubbed her stomach as she paced around the room or the cottage Elijah had arranged for her in Amiens. “This is not going to be good, Mollie,” She said speaking to her child, “Not good at all.” She wondered what she had done to get into all of this.

Nick didn't want to do this. He absolutely did want to do this. Cecilia thought Nick was a bad person. She threw him away like a piece of trash after Raphael came back. But this concerned his daughter. At this point Nick didn't care what she wanted. This was his child and he would take care of her, whether Cecilia liked it or not. So this was why he was in the Amines and at Cecilia Krum's house. With three slow steady knocks at the door Nick awaited her greeting.

"Oh God," Cecilia said, the young mother felt as if she were going to through from the fear of what would happen. "Come on, Cecilia, keep yourself calm and collected." She spoke to herself as she reached for the door knob. "Hello nick," she greeted him opening the door and letting Mr. Potter pass through before shutting the door again behind him. The pain of seeing Nick was clear in the girls eyes as she looked upon him, "have a seat," she murmured motioning to the chair. "Would you like some tea or coffee?" She asked ringing her hand nervously as she spoke to him.

Ugh this started to get bad already. "Cut the crap Cecilia. I'm here about my daughter. Lets make things clear. I don't love you. I used to but you ignored me and didn't care about me when Raphael came back. That's my daughter. You will not keep her from me. From day one I will be allowed to see her. If you thought this would be a nice meeting you were wrong. You decided to put me through Hell. You never loved me and I learned to get over you. You can try to be my friend but you have to earn that. As I said, I love Mollie, not you" Nick said in a rudeish way. He didn't care if she cried or not. She would feel like he did.

"No one will come into my home and insult me, nor will they demand anything from me." Cecilia said timidly fixing Nick a drink like she had offered along with one for herself. She would not allow herself to be seen hurt by his words "Now please have a seat." She said through clinchd teeth and a fake smile placing the drinks on the kitchen table. The seventeen year old knew this would be bad and wished she had never found out who the father of mollie was. "I asked you to come here so we can talk like civil people about my daughter." She still was not sure if nick even deserved to be a free man after what he did to her but she loved him to much to press charges on him and possibly send him to askaban though the thoughts had been in the back of her mind. He had lied and betrayed her.

Nick let out a loud sigh. Cecilia was being complicated about things. She couldn't just talk to Nick like a normal person, no, she had to put on a show and continue playing her games. "Fine now speak about my daughter" Nick said as he sat down. "And the only reason I'm demanding anything is because you treated me like shit. I was there for you. Raphael comes back and you forget about me. Then you know I'm not that type of person, but you find out that's my child in there, and you act afraid. It's time to grow up Cecilia" he said more full of anger than the last time.

"I was contemplating letting you see My child, but only under the supervision of multiple people." Cecilia said quietly. "And there is one thing that must be decided now, Who's last name MY child should bear, Mine, yours, or none at all." Cecilia felt uneasy being here alone with nick now, but it was something she had to do. The girl sat as far away from nick as she could while the sat at the table. "I would decide this on my own but you deserve a say." She said quietly. one hand resting on her stomach the other on the table where her fingers taped uneasily. She didn't like this one bit and wished it would be over.

"Mine. Your father disowned you and Eli. It would be better to kill off that legacy with you. When you get married it can be changed to either your new last name, or stay mine. I'll leave it up to you. " Nick said with a fake calm to his voice. Then he noticed the overuse of the word my when she said child. "That is our child! Not just yours! I make up part of that child! Our child dammit!" He shouted. He moved closer he wanted to hit her. But he had to control himself or things would be worse.

"I am the only one who has taken responsibility for this child this far, so She is My Child." Cecilia said calmly flinching as Nick shouted at her. She didn't want her child to bear Nicks name. He did not deserve that honor, And it would be best for a growing child to have the same last name as the parent they lived with. Again Cecilia complicated leaving Mollie without a last name, without a father. She wondered quietly if it was possible for her to leave the father's name of the birth certificate. She wished she was not here alone with nick. She felt uneasy and needed someone there with her to protect her if she could not handle nick.

"I didn't know about it being OUR child for eight and a half months. So are you telling me you don't want me in OUR child's life?" Nick asked putting extra emphasis on the word our. "I will be in our child's life. I don't love you. I more or less hate you. You put me through Hell. You never loved me. I'm actually surprised you did send me to Azkaban. But if I can't see OUR child I might as well be there" Nick said.
