Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Carried away Empty Carried away

Alex was bored.

Not like just that he had nothing to do. His body was literally aching for some action, it could be anything that could satisfy him, even studying, there he would at least have something. But he had already studied, and had gone back to being bored. He walked down to the Hufflepuff common room, looking in a closet, for anything. To his surprise, there was a soccer ball. Did Hogwarts have a soccer field, or even anything that could be used as a goal? No. Really the only recreational activity was Quidditch, and Broom flying, which where somewhat in the same. Well, he'd have to do for now. He quickly put on some soccer cleats he had brought for no apparent reason. He sighed and put on a jacket, a Barcelona T-Shirt, and some short cargo jeans. He grabbed the soccer ball, and slowly left the Hufflepuff common room, it wasn't that cold, but it was a bit windy, so he took of the jacket. He thought of where he could go to shoot the ball around a bit.

Now of course, Alex was half Spanish, so of course, part of him loved soccer, although he preferred Basketball, he wasn't bad at soccer, he was actually fairly good. So he started a light jog, to see if the Quidditch pitch was empty, it was. Both good and bad memories came from that place. He was Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain, and he hoped to go pro when he was older, when graduated, he had people tell him he was talented enough, and coaches, lots of people, so maybe he would.

He reached the Quidditch pitch, and put the ball in the middle. Now... Where was he gonna shoot. He looked at the highest hole, in the Quidditch pitchs, could he make it. Alex was so confident he actually though he could. He sighed, and stood like he was about to shoot a free kick in soccer. He sighed. He took a shot, straight up, the ball took effect and curved into the hole. Now, he might've just gotten carried away, or he was really bored. But Alex took off his shirt, and started screaming, "GOOAAALLL!!! MESSIIIII! MESSI! GOLAZOOOOOO!" Alex said running around the Quidditch pitch, shirtless.

Carried away Empty Re: Carried away

[OOC: Hope it's okay I join in? A bit late but it's open!]

There was a shout from the Quidditch Pitch below her, and Izzie let her head fall back, her eyes closed and her expression a mixture of annoyance and boredom. She had been sitting up in the stands of the pitch for a couple of hours, reading a book about Dragon taming, when she had heard the boy come in, do whatever and start screaming at the top of his lungs. She slowly kicked her feet off of their elevated position and leaned forward, resting her chin on the rail, the book still tucked up against her stomach.

There was a boy running around the pitch, shirtless and way too excited. Her eyes flickered over the scene and quickly came to rest on the soccer ball that was sitting just behind one of the goal posts, he has obviously just kicked it into the goal and was celebrating. "You know there are quieter ways to celebrate!" She yelled down towards him, standing up and stretching, she was wearing only her white button up and skirt, having taken off her robes to use as a cushion on the hard bench. She looked down towards the boy, grinning and shielding her eyes from the sun. "Bet you can't do that again!" She pointed towards the soccer ball and laughed.
