Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Rebellion Empty Rebellion

Lily was planning on blowing off detention.

The substitute had fallen asleep and she was the only one who was here. She wasn't sure if she was the only one scheduled, the only prompt one, or if the others had skipped. Lily had to keep her nose clean now. Yes, she had destroyed Lottie Carol's face in a fit of passionate rage, but now she had a much bigger fish to fry. If she was going to take down the Death Eaters, she had to get back into the shadows and appear as the perfect student.

She had completed her Potions essay and her drawings for Care of Magical Creatures, and was now trying to awaken the substitute. What else was she supposed to do? Really? She was torn. The Peace Keepers meant a lot to her, and more trouble making compromised them... But if they thought she was going to waste her night here....

Lily walked to the door, quietly treading. She opened it and slipped outside, before beginning to walk casually. And that's when she heard the door open and the sub yell "Hey!"

Immediately, Lily turned. A door flew open and she stepped forward, trying to dive into the closet. Someone, however, was in her way.

Andrei truly wondered why he bothered going to class in the first place. He dropped as much classes as soon as he could when he reached his owls level, but he still had to maintain a reasonable amount on his schedule. Or so his head master insisted. Since attention to academics was almost non existent, so going to classes was pretty much a waste of time. Besides, he would probably end up in detention anyone for this or that reason. Skipping classes might as well just be one on his list.

Somehow, with great self-discipline that surprised even him, he got himself out of bed and headed towards Charm's class. Dragging his feat as he walked, it was obvious that he was not looking forward to this at all. But now that he was already wake, he didn't have a choice really.

Almost flying through the hallways came the red head girl he quickly recognized. He had to jump a few steps back so she wouldn't crash into him. "Oi! Watch where you're going. Damn Potter, shouldn't you be off in class or something? Doing something more useful with your life than crashing into people?", he asked with a frown.

This thing of a person was being much too loud. She glanced down the corridor at the professor that would be sure to attack her soon, before shooting a glare at the boy. As he spoke, she hissed, "Can you shut your mouth!?" He didn't seem to have any intention to stay quiet and help her out at all, however.

Desperate times called for desperate measures. She could see the professor beginning to turn towards the noise. She looked at the boy and, heart pounding, grabbed him by the front of his shirt and whirled him into the closet. She stepped in behind him, twirling on the spot to reach forward and firmly close the closet door, shutting out all of the light and hiding her from the prowling sub.

Now she was stuck in a closet with a Slytherin. Greeeeat.

She turned around, resting her back against the door to keep as much distance between herself and the boy as possible. "Just keep quiet until the professor walks by, alright?" she whispered.

Raising an eyebrow at the girl, he couldn't help but stare. She must be barking mad honestly. Andrei was not in a good mood today at all, and messing with him wasn't such a good idea. However, that was something Potter didn't seem to realize or really care about. Yes, he had decided that she was definitely mad. As he was about to open his mouth to either shout back at her or say some rude comment, she interrupted him and pulled him to the side.

Before he knew it, he was in a closet with the door tightly shut and all of the lights were off. He laughed inside because of the irony of this situation. He was in a dark closet with not only a Gryffindor, but probably one of the leading people in Potter's Army and all similar pathetic attempts of grouping. Something told him this could be very interesting.

He leaned closer to her until he could hear her breathing on his neck. "Why Potter...If you wanted to have me you just had to ask. No need for such secrecy", he whispered through a large smirk on his face. He knew this would irritate her until infinity, and that was the point after all.

"Now tell me one reason why I should help you? And being a red head is not a reason enough, I myself prefer blonds. So tell me, what do I get instead? For being silent?" he asked in a low tone of voice so the professor wouldn't hear them.

Lily turned away from the boy, carefully pressing her ear against the door, listening madly. If she got in trouble one more time, a letter would be going home, and then Albus and James would be on her case. And if they got on her case, soon Teddy and Sawyer would join, and then Hermione, Ron, Charlie, the whole lot of them. Hell, her grandparents would probably demand they whisk her to their home to help with her reformation. She needed to be more careful and much smarter.

Speaking of a need for more intelligence...

She felt warm breath against her neck, and a chill ran from her collarbone up through her scalp. His words rattled her and she felt a frown of distaste curl itself onto her face. She whispered back, "This is a close space. Keep talking like that and you'll have vomit all over your precious robes."

He continued on and rolled her eyes. She was dealing with a Slytherin, which meant there was no such thing as good will. She had to owe him something, or threaten him. "You're Dolohov, aren't you?" she whispered back. "Well, you're also very misinformed. I don't know if you know why I was in detention but it was for breaking Lottie Carol's nose. You know Lottie, right? She's in your year, I think, your House too. Now, I'm nicer to ladies, because they haven't had pressures to be strong like boys. So, let's see. You stay silent, and you get to keep your nose. How's that for a trade?"

"Feisty, aren't we?", he asked with a chuckle. Well he wasn't expecting any different from a Potter. Especially now that Lily has earned herself quite a reputation around the school, whether she wanted it or not. But it's only recently that this red head started exhibiting such a trouble making nature. In fact, he was sure that before that she was nothing but a goody two-shoes. Most Potter kids were. The only reason they were acting out was because they had to prove their courage to themselves and others. It was either dad or deeply troubling daddy issues. This was his opinion and he was sticking to it.

He couldn't help but laugh at her little treat. She might be a Potter, but she was still far from intimidating for him. Perhaps that was something she could work on. "That's a lovely suggestion, but I don't think so. Cute try though Potter, but that can hardly work on me. Let's just say that you owe me, shall we? And I always thought Lottie was incapable of doing anything right. That only proves it", he said with a smirk.

As soon as he heard voices coming from the hallway, he went silent. After all, he did agree to Lily that he won't get her caught. And anyway, no one can guarantee him that the professor chasing her won't give him detention as well just for being at the same place. The staff didn't really like Andrei or approve of his choices, which certainly made some things much more trickier and annoying.

After a few minutes, the voice had finally faded and it seemed the professor was going around the hallways in search of Lily. Finally, he wouldn't need to stay here in this claustrophobic closet for much longer. "As I said...you owe me", he repeated once more.

"Ooooh, what have we here?" a boyish voice sounded suddenly from within the closet, "Wee Potty Lass and Daffy Dolohov? What fun!"

Peeves manifested himself, so that he became visible, hovering over Lily and Andrei's heads within the cramped space. He was floating in the air on his belly, with his legs crossed behind him and his hands underneath his chin. He was grinning, before turning to sit cross-legged in the air; crossing his arms and putting on a mock-serious face.

"But it isn't right for students to be shirking their punishments," Peeves went on tauntingly, "It would be irresponsible for Peevsy to allow such bad behavior to continue unpunished....yes, yes, it would! Should call out for the 'ol wubby subby, I should. Be for your own good, it would!"

Peeves cackled, eyes gleaming wickedly down at the pair stuffed into the closet. His voice hadn't risen high enough to alert anyone.....yet.
