What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Dear Jamie,

    I hope this letter finds you in good health, I encourage you to see a Healer in the event that it does not. Excuse the briefness of this note to you but I feel as though two pages of parchment would not suit this old bird well and I really wish for her to make it to Hogwarts in quite a bit of time. On the subject of health, before I get to the important part, how are you? Well, I hope.

    Now, I feel it prudent to inform you that an old lover of yours has come looking for you. Mr. Potter, to be precise. I do hope you recall him - why should you not? He seems to have gained knowledge on the subject of your daughter and has expressed a desire to meet her. Now I do not write to you on his behalf, instead I write to you in the hope to warn you before he bursts in on you in a similar untimely fashion as he did in the Leaky Cauldron.

    Write back soon, I feel as though arrangements need to be made for the eventuality of this meeting. Oh, and be a girl and give Ziva some owl pellets, would you? She's a tad peckish.

    First, your bird is the one who should be seeing a doctor - not me. I've given her just a little pepper up potion to ensure that my message reaches you on time. Apologies if she's still smoking when she's returned to you.

    James. I wouldn't have thought I would be hearing about him for a long time.. especially not from you. But you're absolutely sure he's coming here? Do you know if this upcoming visit will be pleasant? Or should I be taking certain.. precautions as I wait? I wouldn't want to be caught sitting in my jammies completely helpless.

    What in Merlin's name have you done to my bird, woman? I demand another for Christmas! And, yes. She was smoking. I had to put her out.

    I doubt he'll be any kind of threat to you. I write only to warn you. Though, might I inquire as to what to do with your daughter? Do not read it as it has been written, I apologise for my crassness. But he inquired. I denied having met her. I doubt very much that Mr. Potter would appreciate my deceit.

Dear Elijah,

    I've only toughened her up a bit. No harm, no foul. Besides, I'm not sure I could really afford to get you a new bird of this teachers salary. How's 'bout a nice toad instead? I always suspected you had a thing for warts.

    Dear lord, Krum. Grow some balls. He won't find out that she's with you. Even if he does you're a spry enough lad to outrun him. But really, if he's that persistent than I'm sure I can figure something out to avoid your name in conversation. I just don't think I could handle having her with me for the moment.

    I just realized how awful that sounded. Am I awful?
