Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Theodora could hear that Greyback girl flirting with some guy not far off, and she wasn't exactly being quiet about it. Teddy was accustomed to people being loud, sure, but when it was coming from Aria Greyback, Teddy's irritation soared. People always drew comparisons between Aria's snooping and her own investigations. The two were nothing alike! Aria was a trashy writer, talking about stuff no one cared about. Teddy cared about HARD HITTING NEWS.

She was pouring over her own notes, but she could feel her anger rising. She tapped her fingers and continually glanced at the perpetrator, but Aria either didn't get the hint, or was ignoring it. Teddy could not take much more of this. She could not stand the Gryffindor. A fresh peal of giggles made the Ravenclaw snap.

She slammed a book shut, looking up. "Could you quiet down!?"

"Why should I?" Aria asked rolling her eyes at the girl who spoke. She knew it was Teddy. It was always Teddy, the cute little blond ravenclaw, who considered herself an investigator. "You know you could go somewhere else. I have no clue why they called this the Study room. It's much better for flirting and making out, oh and we can't for get about watching, and listening." She smiled at the boy she had been flirting with and twirled her hair around her finger. "So why don't you shush so this lovely young man here can help me understand the stuff we went over in Charms. She shook her head at the blond and giggled some more winking at the boy.

Teddy glared at Aria, once again stunned that the wolf-mutt had the gall to think she was above basic common decency and respect. She thought herself better than everyone around her and Teddy didn't think she could stand it this year. Not only was she full of it and obnoxious, she was trying to piss Teddy off on purpose. Teddy ran her tongue over her teeth in irritation.

"You really want to know why it's called a study room? You're that thick. Study, to study- it means to quietly review your studies. And social studies is not a subject we study. Go to a broom closet. No one wants to see you attempt to flirt. In fact, I'm getting a tad nauseated." When Teddy wanted to be, she could be quite rude.

"Did I not just say that this handsome boy here is trying to help me understand Charms class?" Aria said rolling her eyes even more. "Just because I'm not a Ravenclaw doesn't mean I'm completely stupid. I know what this room is meant for. what i don't understand is why they have it here?" she ran her fingers through her hair and pushed it out over her face. standing up she placed her hand in the guys and pulled him up. "Come on lets get away from this sour puss and go over there." she said pointing across the room to an empty table. He looked like he was about to protest but she pouted giving him her best puppy dog face and batted her eyes before pulling him over to the table and sitting as close to him as possible just to annoy Teddy some more.

"Well, you're an idiot if you are questioning the architects of Hogwarts. Take it up with Godric Gryffindor why don't you," she said, calling out to the girl. Seriously, some people were so thick. Teddy wished there was a special advanced wizarding school, for witches and wizards like herself wanted to remove distractions from what they intended to do. Perhaps that would work well for a story.

The girl began to move and Teddy warned, "Just keep it down." She watched the pair remove themselves, glancing up occasionally as they made their way away. They were gone and Teddy rolled her eyes at Aria's deliberate movements. She turned her attention back to her work.

Aria narrowed her eyes when Teddy didn't seem to be paying attention to her as she flirted with the boy she had drug to the study room. So she giggled louder and leaned in closer to him as she twirled her hair around her finger. She felt as if she needed this attention from Theodora, since she didn't seem to be getting the attention she wanted from anyone. The boy didn't really know much more about the charms stuff that sat in front of them so there wasn't really any point of her being there pretending to study with him. It was frustrating how they didn't seem to notice her, while she tried her headset to get their attention.

She had been allowed enough silence to delve back into her notes. She had half a dozen mini-pads of paper and she was going through, trying to separate the random scrawled notes and get them all organized onto a scroll of parchment. She was sure Aria never put this much meticulous care and effort or energy into anything. This thought was enough to put a smile on her face.

And then she heard it. That enraging giggle. Teddy slammed down her pen and looked up, shouting across the room, "WHY?" People glanced at her, staring between the two girls. "Is that REALLY necessary?!"

"Yes, yes it is really necessary, because this idiot knows even less about charms than I do and not all of us can be the prefect little Ravenclaw you seem to be." Aria said shaking her head then looking back at the boy, "Don't expect me to be coming for you again." She said packing up her stuff. Before storming out of the room she stopped for a second looking over at Teddy. Then she pushed the door open and heading out into the corridor.
Once out side and far enough away from the Study Room not to be heard, she screamed in frustration. The one person who truly knew who wrote the Rumor Mill paper and all they could do is judge. She felt as if she needed to hit something but the only thing there was around were stone walls and she could afford to brake either of her hands.
