Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The sane siblings Empty The sane siblings

This was one of Milo's favorite places. He hadn't been in town long but now that he was, he came here. The little back patio that led to the brick portal to Diagon Alley was an excellent place to meet people. Even when he was a kid, he used to ditch his aunt to head over to this area and nod at the pretty girls and talk with the men. Milo used to sit atop the trashcans and wait. Now, he casually leaned against a wall, a confident grin easily settling on his face.

He reached up and brushed back his grin, a pair of women walking through the patio. "Hey ladies," he said. One paused while the other fished out her wand. "Might I say that I was fully expecting to see some woman walk by and I'd look her over with fierce approval- her legs, her hair, her hands. But I can't with you." The women's faces began to take an offended expression, before he said, "But I can't tear my eyes from your faces. Wow."

They burst into a flurry of giggles and one tapped the wall while the other ran forward, quickly writing a number down and slipping into his coat pocket. He watched them pass through and felt the number with one of his fingers. He smiled and tipped his head back.

With the term being so close to starting, she began to wonder if she had actually gotten everything that was needed for this year. She was pretty sure that everything she needed was with her, but what was the harm in going around, checking that she had everything? And if she had missed something, she could just go to Diagon Alley and buy it. Or she could use that as an excuse to just leave the house for a bit.

It was getting a bit annoying to be in there with her siblings and cousin running around getting ready for the year, and fussing over who's things are who's. Her father wouldn't notice she was gone, after all she had been locked up in her room pretty much all day to get away from the mess of people all over the house. At least in her room it was safe and no one would go in.

Sighing, Damitrius quickly left the house and headed for Diagon Alley. As she got to the entrance of Diagon Alley, she took a quick look around - she'd been a bit on edge lately - and she began to tap a pattern on the wall as she moved her head side to side in rhythm with the tapping.

Milo had settled down from the success of his last interaction when the next young lady walked through. Something in her face struck him as familiar and he turned, cocking his head as he surveyed her. Surely, his looks hadn't changed terrible but six year of absence had drastically altered of of his half siblings.

Yes, he was sure he knew this girl too. If he was not mistaken, this was Damitrius d'Eath. He knew very little of her, as he had only met her once or twice, and she had only been about nine or ten when he had left. He simply hoped she would remember him.

He stepped out as she approached. "Damitrius? Do you remember me? I'm your half brother, Milo." He grinned widely.

Damitrius stopped tapping on the wall, a bit startled at the voice that started talking to her. She blinked as someone approached her and asked if she remembered him. His name did sound familiar to her and she tipped her head up a bit to look at the sky as she thought. She recently realized that she always does that when she thinks, but it always helps more than looking at someone ... especially since she didn't want to seem like a creep.

"Milo." she echoed him softly as she brought her index finger to her lips as she thought. She smiled as she looked at him again and nodded. She remembered him but vaguely. Damitrius had never interacted much with him, and he had left when she was pretty young, but she did remember a rather, odd, as she called him when she was younger, man living with them before he just left.

"I remember. You're the eldest out of us all, aren't you?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. He seemed like he was the oldest, or at least older than Alistair anyways.

The girl set about remembering him, going through motions he was glad to see she had not outgrown the trait. It had always been entertaining to watch the girl look straight up and rock back and forth when he had played games with her, asking her to come up with part of the game. Of course, she had grown and was not acting childish, but to see a characteristic last in such a period of time- that was the charm of returning after so long. He could appreciate all of the changes.

She finally identified him and his grin widened. You're the eldest out of us all, aren't you?" "Well," he said, clapping his hands together. "That we know of." He winked pleasantly at her. "We all know Daddy wasn't exactly a doting, settle-down sort of man with the ladies, was he?" Milo chuckled.

"Are you getting the last of your school supplies? It wouldn't be too lame of me to join you, would it? Family comes before flirting," he explained, nodding at another woman who was passing through. She smiled and he grinned, pleased.

She hadn't heard anyone call Lorcan Daddy in a while, not even from the youngest of her siblings and hearing him say it got a small giggle out of her. But he did make a point, with Lorcan's habits they could never really know who was going to be the oldest until everyone showed up. Although she really hoped that Milo was the oldest and no other surprise children would appear.

"Well, he has been with one woman for a while now. He seems to really like her, but I'm not sure. None of us seem to really like her, except -" she stopped and shrugged it off. "Nevermind. But he does seem really happy with her." she smiled, feeling like she was starting to babble on about nothing. "It wouldn't be lame at all. I only need to get a few more things." she smiled at him.

She couldn't help but think that most if not all the d'Eath men really did take after their father when it came to women, because of Milo's comment.

She informed him that Lorcan had a new one and Milo cringed. "I would say I feel bad for the poor woman, but any woman hardcore enough to take Lorcan on now can't be someone I'd want to even meet." He shuddered- not every woman was bad. His mother was fine and Damitrius' wasn't totally unhinged. But Lorcan's reputation had finally begun to precede him. You would have to be almost as bad.

She said she didn't like the woman and Milo grinned. "I can drop by and scare her off for you guys. I used to do that with some of Lorcan's girly friends. It was great fun, really, and I'm sure I still have it." He giggled out of excitement, imagining the possibilities, though he knew they would never come to fruition.

She said it was okay for him to join her and he threw his fists high into the air. "Party on!" he announced. He stepped forward and tapped the brick with his wand, allowing the portal to open. He gestured towards it valiantly, saying, "After you madame." He made a goofy face and waited for her to walk through, before linking elbows with his younger half sibling. "So how has the past six years been? I mean, I don't even know where you were sorted."

(minor godmodes, sorry)
