Back again we go.

Her life had taken a dramatic turn for the better since her father had been.. well killed. She had wonderful clothing, and a beautiful home, she spent her mornings working out with her family, taking care of the young ones who were already there, and she had even been given a new pet, a Pygmy puff named Nereus. He was a tiny little runt, a dark brown in color, unlike most of his siblings that had been strangely colored, he was quiet, and peaceful, and sat gracefully upon Faith's shoulder, attempting to hide in her splash of red hair that tumbled over her shoulders like blood.

She had her trunk, and under her arm she had a little book that had a fountain pen sticking out of. Her trunk was strapped to her trolley, and she pushed it in front of her, joining the throng of people on the platform, careful to push through the crowd, apologizing where needed, but mostly keeping her head down to the stares of others. She wasn't the most social of people, and she liked to stick to herself mostly, so this many people made her slightly nervous. She could even feel Nereus quivering against her neck, his eyes peering out at the mass of people on the platform.

Faith got her trunk up onto the train without difficulty, and found an empty compartment with ease. She had a knack for knowing where they would be, and she pushed her trunk in before she closed the door and put the trunk up into it's rack above her head, to be opened later so she could get her robes on. Without even glancing around the compartment, she took a seat next to the window, and pulled her feet up onto the seat next to her, she opened her journal and started to read from it, it was covered in tight, neat handwriting, tiny on the page, with loads of information obviously packed in, headings, and sometimes even a small handwritten sketch that was of a face, or an animal, or a plant.

After a moment in her regular position, Faith found herself growing uncomfortable, so without further ado, she put Nereus on the seat beside her, got onto the ground, kicked her legs up onto the seat, so that her legs were well above her head, and Nereus bounced down her leg, landing on her stomach and curling up without a moment's hesitation, used to her odd positions, Faith held the book over her head, and continued to read.

Liesl had been up and down all the train carriages. She was looking for her wayward prefects, who apart from two others had taken it upon themselves not to turn up to the prefects' compartment before they went off and did whatever it was they wanted to do.

It wasn't like Liesl had a problem with them sloping off to snog in the bathroom or scare the new firsties. It wasn't like she was a hard taskmaster. Just turn be where you were supposed to be, when you were supposed to be there and things would be fine.

The door to the compartment slid aside to reveal a long legged Ravenclaw, her top half covered with book. And pygmy puff.

"Please tell me you're not the Ravenclaw prefect," Liesl said.

That was the other problem with her search. She didn't actually know who she was looking for until she found them.

Faith looked up when the door slid open and a girl walked in, looking exasperated. "Prefect? Oh right.. I got one of those in the mail.." She said shrugging slightly before looking back at her book. "Yeah, I guess so.. I mean I think I am.. I'm pretty sure that got mailed to the wrong person or something.. so not sure.." Faith said lightly, crossing her ankles up above her head and turning her head to look at the Slytherin girl.

"Was I supposed to do something I didn't? Oops.." Faith uncrossed her ankles, and slid her feet off the seat above her, climbing to her feet nearly gracefully, her pygmy puff squirming to readjust itself onto her shoulder as she did, hiding under her hair once more, it's eyes peeking out from behind the waves of red.

"Hi, I'm Faith.. you must be the Head Girl right?" She grinned at the girl and leaned forward on her tiptoes for a moment before leaning back. "Was I supposed to do something..when I got on the train? I forgot.." She said glancing over at her book she had been reading before picking it up and flipping through the handwritten pages to the end, where the were some scribbled notes. "Right.. Prefects compartment.. darn, I'm sorry, I hope I didn't cause trouble." She said closing the book and laying it back down on the seat.

"Let me dig out that badge thingy.." Faith jumped up onto the seat, opened her trunk and grabbed out the little badge with a P on it. She jumped back down, letting the trunk close, and pinned it to her chest, beaming. "There, alright, what do I do?" She asked, spinning around and letting her hands fall down to her sides as she did, her hair a whirlwind of red as she did.

She... didn't know who Liesl was. That was kind of insulting. Kind of even more annoying than not turning up to the meeting, since almost everyone hadn't turned up to the meeting.

"I'm Liesl Dolohov," Liesl said. Most people at least recognised her surname. "And yes, I am Head Girl. Thank you for noticing."

Faith reminded her of someone, but Liesl couldn't quite remember who and anyway, she was too busy being in charge to bother wasting energy trying to guess who all the girl's relations at Hogwarts were.

She sighed in a way that made it clear Liesl did think Faith was going to be way more trouble than she was worth.

"It's okay. You just missed a meeting," she replied shortly. "Just try not to do it again."

Even the Head Boy missed it.

"And maybe, have a walk up and down the corridors. Make sure nobody's up to no good?" she added.

Faith looked at the girl and smiled slightly. "Well it's nice to meet you Liesl. Aren't you a little young to be Head Girl? I thought Head Girls were usually like.. Seventh years.. and stuff." Faith grinned at the girl and nodded quickly as she spoke. "Sorry about that. I may be a Ravenclaw... but things skip my mind sometimes.. I don't have the best memory, I guess it's lucky I am Ravenclaw Prefect though right? No tricky passwords to memorize like other houses." She grinned and felt the cold glare from the younger girl.

Faith's smile slowly faded and she looked down at her feet for a moment before nodding. "I can do that.. sorry though, I promise I won't miss any more meetings.. I'll make sure to give myself plenty of reminders.. If I may ask.. who's the other Ravenclaw Prefect?" She asked, looking slightly ashamed of herself as she stood there, trying not to feel to upset.

Liesl just shrugged. It was the same question she'd been asking herself ever since the badge came in the mail.

"I guess they just don't trust any of the seventh year girls to do it properly," she said. "Or the sixth years. Or the fifth years."

"Oh, yeah," Liesl answered Faith's other enquiry. "You're with Keith Nicholas. You might have to keep an eye on him as well."
