Shoppingspree!

„This is so beautiful on you! We should get it!“
„No mother...“ Avis groaned quietly when she looked into the mirror to see a reflection of a sixteen year old, skinny, but tall girl with greenish brown eyes, brown hair that looks red when she walks in direct sunlight and really really pale skin. Only lips on her face that were bright pink proved that she was actually alive, not a walking marmor statue.
Lucy stepped away to take a look of her daughter, her princess who, in her opinion, had to wear all fashionable clothes that were on sell. This dress, however, was horrible in Avis' taste. It was clear that both of them – Lucy and Avis – had style disagreements. One was preferring clothes with cats and something more average and the other loved things that were outstanding and that screamed when people looked at them:“LOOK AT ME! JUST LOOK, I WAS DESIGNED BY THE FAMOUS D&G!“ or something like that. Terrible.
„But why not? It looks beautiful on you!“ inisted Lucy. She touched silky fabric of the dress and Avis could see how her lips made a soft smile.
„You know what... you can have it if you want it that much. I don't care...“

Fifteen minutes later, Avis was finally left alone. Her mother, who didn't calm down until they actually bought that strange looking and really expensive dress, was calm and let her go to mind her own business. Avis got her credit card and some wizard money as well though it was obvious that she wouldn't use it here. Why, she wasn't at Knockturn Alley, was she now? Lucy had taken her to the centre of London and later she hoped to walk in Piccadilly Circus to see those doubledeckers and maybe even ride on them.

Naomi Higarishi was walking though London arms loaded down with bags including a hello kitty purse like bag that said i love Nerds, only the heart was replaced by the head of hello kitty. When she walked into a store and a small scene between a mother and daughter. Something she wished she could have for one moment once again. Before leaving the house today she had dressed in a sparkly strapless dress in every color ranging between blue, one of her favorite colors, to pink, one of her least favorite, and blue heels that were also sparkly.

Not finding anything she really like, like the girl with her mother seemed to have not, she decided to leave. As she walked out the door she walked out the door she bumped into that girl. "Oh sorry. Hey your the one who was fighting with her mother over that dress. must be nice." she said murmuring the last part. The only thing odd about this day for Naomi is that her twin sister wasn't present and it was strange not having her around.

Avis was able to enjoy peace and silence only for a moment because suddenly someone bumped into her and she was too surprised to say anything at the very beginning. Girl who argued with her mother? So that's her new nickname? Avis frowned, but she could not blame that girl for the comment. She was sure that the scene was spectated by many other costumers. So much for the little unknown girl reputation, huh?
„That's okay,“ she said quietly, looking now at the girl, trying to see wether she got hurt after bumping into her or not. It seemed to her that everything was fine with her. Now, looking at that tanned face, Avis was even more surprised when she realized that the girl was looking somewhat familiar. „Oh... You mean the dress? No, I don't like it. Too outstanding and...“ she sighed and added quickly, feeling how her cheeks turned pink from the embarrasment:“I hope that you will forget that soon.“

„You go to Hogwarts, right? Gryffindor, if I'm not mistaken?“ She had seen two girls around the school. Twins. One was Hitame, her housemate. They never spoke to each other, but as a quiet person, she was able to spectate everything and being unnoticed. She had also seen her sister, Nanny or Nana who was from Hufflepuff.

"Yeah that dress looked a little to old person," Naomi said giggling when the girl in front of her got her confused with her sister. "No I'm the Puffer. You are thinking of my twin sister Hit Me." Naomi wasn't use to being confused with her sister. Everything about them screamed different at times. From the way they dressed, Him in jeans and Naomi in skirts or a dress, to how Naomi was happy and everything all the time while Hitame was more protective and sad. Thinking about her sister made Naomi wonder what she was doing. The two never really spent much time apart. "Hey i know of this place on the other side of London that is wonderful. Would you like to come." the thirteen year old girl was speaking of a thrift shop where she like to buy clothing.

At this point, Avis had to disagree with the girl. The dress was fashionable, and pretty looking, but not for her taste. It was for someone who loved to show off and to demonstrate their bodyparts to people. Avis shivered at this thought. She had nothing to demonstrate, thank god.
When she introduced herself and told Avis that she was wrong and had disappointed her with someone else, she gave her a short nod. Unlike other people, she didn't know how to see the difference between twins. For god's sake, they may even wear different clothing or one might even be suicidal and depressed, Avis' bran wouldn't be capable of telling those two apart.

Naomi suggested her another shoppingspree and Avis looked around to see wether her mother was somewhere near or no. Getting away from her right now would be splendid! „Lead me the way,“ she said quickly, fearing that Lucy might come and find her again and make her try out all the dresses that she found beautiful. „And in fact, let's start moving now?“ she asked and without any permission, she grabbed Naomi's arm and dragged her to the exit. The other side of London suited her perfectly.

"Wonderful," Naomi said smiling and giggling as they started toward the little shop which was more like a hole in the wall. "You won't even realize its a store when we get there. You may not even realize its there." She said. "you could say that its very exclusive if you want. But many people don't even know it exists. My mum use to take my sister and i there when we were little. It has more normal clothing."
She led the other girl down to the other side of London, which most people would classify as the bad part of town and looked around as she walked. Smiling she turned down a side street stopping at the second door and gesturing for her to go first. "Just trust me its not as bad as it seems. And you never introduced yourself."

Wonderful indeed!
Avis frowned at the thought of being forced into a shoppingspree again, but hoped that this time it'd be different. Naomi wasn't her mother who'd force her wear things that never were her taste. She loved something dark and to make everything perfect, clothes had to be decorated with cat pictures. She already had Hello Kitty clothing and right now she was wearing a black t-shirt with Hello Kitty symbol on it, same brand black jeans and boots that looked too hot for a summer weather. Instead of carrying a little bag with her, Avis had her usual, dark blue schoolbag on her back. That suited her perfectly. Not that she had lot of things with her. Just a wallet, a book, some notes about herbs and healing potions, pencil and an album for drawing.
„Oh really?“ she raised her eyebrows at Naomi. An underground store, she liked that. Those were usually filled with most interesting stuff to be found. Sometimes she wandered trough these and was impressed to see that such shops had more beautiful things that those which were located in huge shoppingcentres.
She followed Naomi quietly letting her do the talk. As for her mood – it was better now. Even when Avis realized that they were not in the prettiest part of London anymore, but still, she found that certain beauty in this place. „I believe you,“ Avis said quietly as she entered the shop. „Sorry about that, I'm Avis Summers, from Gryffindor.“

"Well hello," Naomi said to the girl and waving at the person sitting behind the counter. "Hey," she called over to him. The same guy was always working when Naomi came in and though she didn't really remember his name she knew him well enough.
"Hey Naomi," The guy answered looking up from a magazine looking book, "Where's your sister at?" He asked rising an eye brow at her and the girl she was with.
"She didn't come along today." She answered shrugging. and walking over to the racks of clothing. "New Inventory!" she explained smiling and pulling a few shirts with Hello Kitty and muggle tv shows on them. "Oh this one is so cute!"

Avis didn't notice this young man at the beginning. Only when Naomi greeted him, she looked over to see with whom she was talking to. She didn't examine him, only gave him a short nod that was supposed to mean “hello“. Again she followed Naomi and stood next to her. Avis examined all the clothes that she saw there, trying to figure out did she really need anything or not. Her closed was full of beautiful dresses and shirts, skirts, jeans and all other stuff that were necessary to live without walking naked.
She raised her eyebrows at Naomi and looked at the t-shirt with some muggle cartoon characters on it. „Yeah,“ she said quietly without actually meaning it. This shirt left her as numb as she was before. „I suppose you're coming here really often, huh?“ she finally asked, looking now something for herself as well.

"Yeah somewhat," Naomi said, "That guy is always here too so you could say that I've seen him a lot. His parents own the store or something like that." she said shrugging it all off. then whispering she said, "I've heard that he went to hogwarts a few years ago. Graduated just before the eldest Krum started there. But he doesn't like to talk about it." She looked over at Avis and smiled. She giggled and hugged the cloths to herself and moved through the store. "Muggle born. Some of the muggles around her think he's weird and went to a military school but he's to cool for that." she looked back over at the guy, "Finding anything you like?" She asked. "Completely normal cloths."
