Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Break Time Empty Break Time

Post by Susan Bones Thu Jul 26, 2012 1:25 am

Susan sat down at a table at Sparks Bistro & Bakery after ordering a green tea. She wanted to get out of the Ministry for her break, she knew she could eat lunch but she didn't have much of an appetite do to the fact she had just healed a very badly injured Crup, who's owner tried to cut off it's tail on their own. She hated it when people just did things to their pets without researching it or bringing it to a specialist. She cared very much for the animals that were brought into her care.

She picked up the Daily Prophet and started to read it. She flipped pass the gossip and the stuff she knew was just a bunch of crap. She found another article about the 'mysterious illness' that was plaguing the wizarding world in the UK. She found the 'illness' rather interesting, she wanted to know more about it. She had been on a cleaning furry at home because of it, she didn't want any of her kids getting this 'illness' or whatever it was. She personally believed it could be a wizard-made disease but she wasn't a Healer so what did she know about wizard disease.

She began to drink her green tea while reading the article. She was glad that she wasn't worrying about work for once, she had been so worried about the Crup puppy the pass three weeks she had forgotten how great it was not to be worrying about work. She wondered what new creature she would be having when she got back. She instantly scolded herself for thinking about work while on break.

Break Time Empty Re: Break Time

Post by Susan Bones Thu Aug 02, 2012 5:27 am

Susan put down the Daily Prophet when she heard a voice talking to her. She didn’t want to be rude and most of what was in the Daily Prophet wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. She wasn’t very fond of the Prophet, she never had been. She fondly remembers Rita Skeeter and her Aunt getting into one time. Wands drawn and the whole ball of wax, all it took was one small flick of her Aunt’s wand she had a zipped zipper for a mouth.

“Why hello there, I didn’t see you come in. I don’t eat here very often, I mostly go home to eat to make sure the kids haven’t gone wild,” she said with a smile. “Well, I’ve been eating at work since I got quite busy with work,” she added. It was hard to catch her without a smile; she found it much more appealing then frowning all the time. Maybe her youngest two children were wearing off on her.

((No worries. I'm working on changing Susan's job and I recently had her get divorced since you've been gone))
