Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Although Krum Manor definitely wasn't boring, it seemed that Mira had run out of things to do. Despite the fact that while in the house you were under the constant bombardment of children (both Elijahs adopted and others who seemed to wander in whenever it pleased them) Mira knew she needed to get out. No matter how magical a place was everything seemed to run together after a while. The kindness of everyone in the house threatened to run Mira over some days. They provided clean clothing, hot food, and a warm bed to sleep in without any questions. As time went on each and every one of them were earning a special place in her normally icy heart.

Mira had left the house with the intention to send a message to Miseria, asking her best friend out to lunch. But somewhere along the line she had forgotten and instead decided to go solo to the Three Broomsticks. As she entered through the faded wooden door frame Mira realized that she had never been to Hogsmede during the summer. It was strange being back in this bar without the usual gaggle of students crowding the booths. Then Mira realized she would never again be part of that group. Graduated. Done. Time for the real world. And look how well that was turning out - broke, and looking like she was about to start the same cycle with Krum again. Life goes on.

Mira sat herself down at the bar and drummed her fingers on the oak counter as she waited to be served. With a sigh Mira realized the last time she had ventured out of the house to do her own thing she had gotten in a pretty serious duel. She hoped this trip wouldn't be nearly as eventful. When the bartender behind the counter arrived, Mira smoothed down her dress and ordered a scotch. In seconds the golden colored liquid was set before her and Mira picked up the crystal glass, swirling the liquid inside. Unlike her dear fiancee, Mira rarely indulged herself in drinking. Intoxicating an already overly impulsive person was never the smartest move. With a smile, she took a delicate sip, not bothered by strong taste that gathered at the back of her throat. More relaxed than she had felt in weeks, Mira watched the world go by.
