Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

An old friend who doesn't remember Empty An old friend who doesn't remember

Marcus visited Diagon Alley, as he missed it from his time in school. He didn't really eat at Cafe Twin Montez so he decided to walk in. It wasn't crowded and noisy; that's exactly how he liked it. He sat down at a vacant table when he spotted an old friend from his childhood. Was she the waitress? He didn't know but he went and greeted her.

"Hi Alexis. Remember me, Marcus?" he said to her.

Alexis had lived in the same non-muggle neighborhood as Marcus. They saw each other around but never seemed to see each other in Hogwarts. It was very strange. They were the same age so they probably were supposed to have classes together. But he never saw her....

Finally shebwas getting a break. Even with Amanda helping her around the shop, it was still busy everyday, except today that is. For the first time she wasn't swamped with people and she could finally rest a little bit. She never imagined that owning a shop in Diagon Alley would be this much work, but she supposed it was silly of her to think it was going to be an easy job. None the less she was glad that her dream of owning a shop there had finally come true.

Alexis was suddenly caught by surprise when someone came and greeted her as if they'd known her their entire life - the irony was that they did, but she didn't remember that. She blinked a couple of times and took a step back. "I don't know who you are." she told him. "I've never seen you before." she added a bit defensively, memory loss or not, her reactions to strange people were still the same.

Amanda was a bit busy doing something else, so that left her alone with him. Amanda had lived in the same neighborhood as she had, and would probably remember him, but she wasn't there right now. Alexis looked him over and took another defensive step back away from him. "I don't know you." she muttered softly.

Marcus' smile was wiped away from his face like raindrops on a windshield wiper. She said she didn't know him. He cocked an eyebrow in deep confusion. "You don't remember me? You, Amanda, and I used to hang out. I wonder how she's doing.." he added. He was becoming defensive and he took a step back and put his hands up in innocence. She obviously suffered from trauma or memory loss or something. But he remembered her. He was about to say something that would probably refresh her memory. Or not.

"If you don't know me, how would I know that you're a vampire?" he asked in a very low voice.

He went there and brought back her past and hoped it would bring some sort of flashback so she would remember him.

He knew Amanda too? Alexis started to feel like he'd been watching them, and that he didn't exactly know them like he claimed to. Her eyes narrowed and the puppy in her head became weary, and started to bark at her to get away from him. "Amanda's fine." she told him defensively and stepped firth back away from him. She was getting a really bad feeling about him.

When he mentioned her being a Vampire, her eyes narrowed more and they seemed to get darker. Her puppy was now growling at him, refusing to believe that he knew what she'd once been. "I am not a Vampire." she told him in a low and dangerous voice. If she'd still been a Vampire, then she would've remembered him by just looking at him.

Of course he didn't know about what had happened to her, somehow he'd apparently never found out about her being attacked. And the person who attacked her had been in his year and house. Somehow the entire thing was kept under wraps, except to those who were supposed to be her friends, who apparently was only Amanda. Because no one else seemed to know anything about it, and she and Kyle went on like nothing happened.
