Art call

Elizabeth was feeling the need of just sit and make drawings of some random stuff like she used to do before leaving her home. So as she was walking through the streets, and looking for potential things to draw, she spotted a place called “Cafe Twin Montez”.

“This place seems good, let’s give a try” She told herself with a small smile.

Since she was thirteen she has found in paintings a way to forget about pain, a place were she would always come and let her imagination run wild. She used to spend hours with her grandfather while he was doing portraits or just a random landscape, watching and learning from him was something that made her feel better and forget about her past.

The last thought brought a sad smile on her face while she was entering the cafe. Noticing the surroundings she spot a perfect place, it was near a corner and you could see perfectly when somebody enters the cafe. “Maybe I could do a random persons portrait” Elizabeth thought seeing everything around her “No, that’s too creepy” she laugh.

When she took her seat she ordered a hot coffee and started to take out the materials (It was just a notebook and a pencil) that she put on her purse, and started her sketch of a dog she saw while walking the streets.

Since starting his job at the Ministry once again, his life got more busy and hectic than before. Any sane person would be overwhelmed by having the jobs he had, but then again who ever said he was sane? Of course that didn't mean he didn't have to take breaks. Running back and forth between Hogwarts and the Ministry, plus the paperwork and his duties as HoH for Gryffindor, wasn't easy. It took a lot out of him, but he always managed to do it.

Right now, he just needed a break from all the work he has to do, and then there was the preparations for the graduation ceremony. He remembered the year before, when he graduated, the ceremony had been held in the Ministry because of the destruction that had occurred during the battle. This year though, the castle was in good shape so the ceremony would be held there. He was glad that he would he able to see this year's graduating students graduate in the school, instead of somewhere else.

Still, there was so much to do and he needed to take a load off for a little bit before heading back to the castle. He figured that while he had time he should go to the Cafe Twin Montez, as it was becoming his favorite place to eat. It was busy today, as it always was, and there weren't enough seats for one person to sit on their own. Jake sighed, and waved to the waitress, Amanda a muggleborn girl who had graduated with him and Alexis, the owner of the cafe, she waved back to him and indicated that Alexis was in her office. He nodded and knocked on the door.

He greeted Alexis when she opened the door, and told her that he was going to be there for a little bit before he went back to Hogwarts for the graduation ceremony. He knew Alexis' sister, Lily, was graduating this year and that Alexis was going to be there to support her. Since there, weren't any empty tables, Jake walked to a table that only had one person sitting at it. "Hello. Mind if I sit here with you? There aren't any empty tables." he asked the girl there.

She was so focused on her sketch that didn’t notice a person going to her table. When Elizabeth heard a voice she couldn’t help but jump a little bit from her sit while taking her eyes out of the paper to look at the person in front of her.

It was a man taller than her, she could tell, with brown hair and green eyes. Calming her racing heart, caused by her shock, she offered him a polite smile “Sure you can sit here, I don’t mind”

Elizabeth was sure this situation would end in an awkward way (On her part), after all it’s been a while since she have talked to a stranger. So she decided to avoid that kind of situation and start a small conversation with him. “The question is: about what” she thought clearing her throat.

“Um …. This place is really popular? I don’t think it was here a few years back” Elizabeth told him, trying to lighten the mood. “That was a stupid question …. What’s wrong with me? I used to be such a social girl” was her thought when she finished speaking.
