What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

So, my best friend is in a funk, my other friend is depressed, another friend is starting to hang out with me less, and I am forever alone.

I promised these three that I would plan a grand adventure in which we have great fun and forget out troubles. SO!

...any ideas for me?

Okay, here's my idea.

1. My friends show up.
2. I give them each a crazy hat for the day's festivities.
3. I lead them to the picnic I've set up and we feast.
4. We watch a movie.
5. We read each other's palms.
6. We take a trip down to the empty culvert pipe and each yell into it.
7. Travel back and write letters to each other.
8. I make tea and we have a refined tea party.
9. We take the letters, a few items each, and bury a time capsule.

EH? Additions? Subtractions?

I feel like your really forcing a adventure lol. When i have one with my friends its usually spontaneous and unplanned. We just do whatever happens. Go on a road trip or a walk around the neighborhood or go to a park or something like that.

Not to say that planning a adventure isn't fun because it is but i find that the ones i don't plan are some of the best.

We have a lot of those. At least once a week we randomly go somewhere. I just wanted them to know I was thinking about them and planned a day of fun just for them.

Trust me, we've done crazy random things. XD

How about a scavenger hunt? LOL where your picnic is at the end of it?

send them each off in a different direction where you've left clues and let them find you with their feast at the end. i think those are LOTS of fun.

Road trip for sure, if driving is an option. A friend and I were bored today so we decided that we should go to a waterpark thing a couple of hours down the coast at some point in the not too distant future.

So we told parents what was happening, they wanted to come too, as did siblings, and now the two of us have purchased accomodation, tickets and will be driving down there as a group for a weekend in February.

You should do something like that, tis adventurey

I did not see that til after. I actually had a good day! The best was definitely the tea party. I gave them all tea party hats (there was a trucker cap, captains hat, cowboy hat, and a viking). We all talked with british accents, held out our pinkies, used merci incorrectly, and put much too much sugar in our tea. It was great.
