Meeting #1, New Leadership.

The fireplace in the meeting room of Malfoy Manor erupted in green flames as Ne'Os strolled out he was furious it was obvious the death eaters were no longer going to receive any help from Grindelwald. He should have expected it after all Grindelwald had taken the best wizards from the death eater movement. He waved his wand once the candles and the fireplace burst into life filing the room with light and warmth. He rolled up his left arm sleeve and gently placed his wand on the dark mark.


The magical ink had faded much since Voldemort's death but whenever a meeting was called the ink looked like it did the day it was branded on his arm. He knew that any death eater still loyal to the cause would appear. He wondered if any not so loyal would come. He sat down at the head of the table and waited patiently for those that would to arrive.

Zara felt the burn on her arm and she immediately left her current pet and went out into the alley by the inn she was staying at. Turning on the spot, she appeared outside Malfoy Manor and then strode in. Surprised when she was the first one there. Ne'Os was there, and it was obvious he had called, and she frowned and looked around the room. "Let me guess...." She said her voice still a little husky because she hadn't quite gotten out of character from her time with her pet. "Grindelwald has stomped his foot down, and now we are all doomed." She looked at Ne'Os and sighed. Not to long ago, she would have done anything to get to his side, but right then.. she was pretty miserable.

She had fallen for an Order member, then dumped on her ass, she hated it, they always did this to her, and so she had satisfied her lust with man after man, but nothing was the same, and now she was depleted, her hair was frizzy, her makeup was smudged, and her lips were swollen and red, she had been in the middle of making out when he called, and she definitely was not on the top of her game. She drew up a chair and stared at Ne'Os. "how have you been?" She asked pleasantly, obviously not in the mood to act evil, or sexy, or anything but downright upset.

Aaron glanced down at his arm as he felt he burn and a huge grinned appeared across his face. It was finally time to set his plan into motion, and it seemed like it was going to be much easier than he anticipated. With the Death Eaters switched leadership around and their numbers being so low, he did not think rising through the ranks was going to be hard in the slightest bit. The current state of the group of people was comical at best.

With a loud pop, he vanished, and reappeared in front of the manor. He did not enter at first, choosing to stand outside for a few moments and collect himself. He rubbed his hands together softly, feeling no nervousness in his body. He was not nervous about interacting with the Death Eaters, nor was he nervous about his plan. He had thought it through so many times he knew it would work no matter what. It just would take time, like all things.

Wiping the grin from his face, he replaced it with a neutral one. Quickly, he walked inside and looked around. It was only himself, a female, and the man who knew as the new leader of the group. He came in at the tail end of the female speaking so he was unsure what the conversation was, but he cared very little.

He was not one for pleasantries, so he gave a slight nod of the head to the female and then sat down a few seats down from the head of the table. He did not want to be noticed to much, but he also needed to have a voice. He did not know many of the people who would be showing up, so he just sat quietly and retreated into his own head.

Naomi felt lost. She was trying not get to attached to the pack- she did not want a repeat of last time when Hoover took her dependence for affection instead- but at the same time, with Felix gone, Naomi had nothing to do. The people in the village near their house thought she had been recently widowed. Every night she would stroll outside, dressed comfortably, a large dog padding alongside her, her eyes looking off into the distance for something no one else could see...

But that night, she found new purpose. A burn on her arm told her it was time. She had just reached the end of the drive and Hyde seemed to know, lifting his large white head to stare at her, sensing some sort of change in his temporary master. The two were friends- they had to be. Both were loyal foremost to Felix, and that was why they got along. When he was gone, only they understood the empty feeling inside.

Naomi decided to go as was- in sweatpants and a tank, a jacket pulled over. She would not pause to go change, not when she finally had something to do. She reached down and entwined two long fingers into Hyde's scruff, before turning on her heel. She arrived outside the manor and Hyde trotted alongside her before she reached the door. He sat and she continued inside. He would wait for her.

She came in and quickly found everyone else- as in Zara and Ne'Os and another stranger. She blinked and said, "Slow night, huh?" She found a seat and reached up, releasing her hair from the ponytail she had pulled it into. "Seems like you have a knack for catching people off guard," she said, turning her cold, lifeless eyes on Ne'Os. Like a porcelein doll trying to make a joke...

Ne'Os simple smiled at Zara before answering her question "I am well enough considering why i am here" he said thinking about his court summons. He turned his attention from her as a stranger entered obviously he was branded or else he was horrible confused and ready for his life to end. "I am sorry we are not yet acquainted but i am sure we will get to know each other soon enough" he said giving him a warm smile he wasn't going to be his usual cold self unless he needed to be.

As Naomi walked in he could finally conclude that his call was unexpected. "It does seem that way dosn't it" he said responding to her joke. "It is indeed slow but that is only temporary" he said sounding confident. "Let us wait and see if a few more people will show up. Don't expect our dear minister i did not invite him to this meeting and I will tell you why when i feel everyone who will come has arrived" he said giving them all a warm looking smile.

The searing pain that shot through the arm of every Death Eater was unmistakable. It was one that had plagued Alistair throughout his Azkaban sentence and though he tried in vain to Apparate, he knew it was beyond his capabilities to do so. Now though, he knew he could and he wasted no time in throwing his blazer back on and buttoning the first of the two buttons. He ran his fingers through the air upon his pause in front of the mirror and adjusted his tie accordingly before striding over to the crackling fireplace he’d been sat in front of for the majority of the early evening. Grasping the pot of Floo powder, Alistair tossed a palm’s amount into the fireplace. The flames turned into themselves before flickering back an emerald green, the colour of the Killing Curse. A smirk touched at the sides of the man’s face and he cast one last look around the room before stepping through the fire and out through the one fireplace his was connected to: Malfoy Manor.

Unlike many who could not navigate the Floo well, Alistair was somewhat of an expert and he stepped out onto the Oriental rug that had been laid down before the fireplace without so much as a speck of dust on his clothes. He dusted himself off though, as was the habit, and lifted his eyes to the mirror mounted on the wall opposite. He took in his appearance once more and ran his fingers through his hair again before striding across the room to the door he knew to be the meeting place. It hadn’t changed at all, in all the years he had spent at the manor. He remembered the room Narcissa had given him when he and Hyperion had first Apparated onto the grounds. Idly, Alistair wondered if it was still intact but he paid it little mind as he wrenched open the door to the dining room in which he’d met Death Eaters, young and old, most crucially the Dark Lord, many times before.

What he was presented with was not quite what he expected and for a second the surprise showed on his face, though it was quickly masked. Ne’Os Emof. Of course. The Dark Lord must have been turning wherever his body lay. Alistair considered departing in that moment, but he knew it would be rude. He’d been raised better, despite his odd childhood. Alistair did show his distaste for the situation though. Emof had no right to be seated at the head of the table as he was. Alistair did not greet them, he instead let his fingers glide across the back’s of their chairs as he past, lingering with the girls to flick their hair before taking his seat opposite the dark haired woman. The blonde unsettled him, both because of his aversion to women with a similar hair colouring but also because of the aura she gave out. The room was near bare. Alistair could hear the tick-tock of the grandfather clock in the hall.

“You don’t command much respect...do you, Emof?” Alistair spoke softly, lazily, seeing no point to raising his voice. His point was made. If they wanted to listen, they would. If not, well...

Ne'Os watched Alistair as he exited the fireplace and walked to the spot across from Zara. He gave him a cold smile when he finished speaking, a while ago he would have just killed the man but he was was different from what he used to be. He stood and slowly walked around the table looking at each death eater before finally stopping behind Alistair he put his hands on each side of him as to make sure he couldn't leave.

He stayed silent for a moment before he said. "I suppose you are correct I have not yet gained the respect of any of you yet. I hope by the end of the night I will have changed your mind." he said addressing them all he then leaned closer so only Alistair would hear this part. "My friend things are different since I have returned from the dead. You are dealing with a less patient yet more sane version of myself. So let me extend a kindness to you giving you a warning should you create trouble for me...lets just say i have creative ways with handling the species that you have been lucky enough to be even a small part of. Oh yes i know your a vampire or at least a part vampire while the rest about you remains a mystery to me i know the most important part. I offer you a choice you can learn to serve me or I can cast you aside like a piece of garbage" he said. He then stood back up letting go of the chair and walked back to his place at the head of the table and sat down.

"What do you think shall we wait for a few more to show or shall i just start" he said somewhat rhetorically he waited to see if anyone would respond nonetheless.

Zara sat lazily in her chair, her knee propped up on the table edge, staring at the room in general. Why was she here again? The room was slowly filling, and she couldn't be bothered to care. All she wanted to do was pull out a cigarette and light up, but she decided against it, and she listened as Ne'Os spoke to them all, obviously trying to get their attention. Some new kid back mouthed him, and Ne'Os bent over to say something to him, before he straightened up to the room again. Good, show him who's boss, Zara couldn't help but think. A long time ago, Zara would have done ANYTHING to get onto Ne'Os's right hand side, but right now, she couldn't even be bothered to straighten her hair in the morning, so why would she bother with that?

Her ambitions had been crushed, and while she would do as she was told, she had no will to put any extra effort into anything. "Just start." Zara said lazily. "No one else is gonna show.. everyone else is working with Grindelwald now... I don't expect we'll see a half percent of the people we used to see since Grindy-boy cut us off from his ranks." She smirked and leaned back on the back legs of her chair, pushing her knees against the edge of the table so that she was leaned back, and she pulled out a cigarette, lighting it with the end of her wand as she inhaled the smoke.

Thaor felt a sensation on his left arm. One he hadn't felt since the Pre-Grindlewald takeover. He stood in thought for a second, wondering whom would be calling this meeting. More than likely Ne'Os, after all that has happened, he would be the one to remain loyal to the death eaters.

He limped to the front door of the house he was currently occupying, and looked to the sky. Here goes nothing He mumbled to himself as he turned on the spot appearing a second later outside Malfoy Maor. THaor knew his appearance was not the greatest, his hair greyed, cuts, and bruises covered his body. His clothes worn, tears and scuffs throughout his clothing. Dark bags under his eyes. It was obvious Grindlewald had gotten the best of him. Never staying in the same place for more than two days became his way of life.

Thaor hadn't seen an actual wizard in upwards of a month. This meeting would prove to be interesting. Thaor opened the front door to the Manor and walked into the meeting room. His guess was correct, Ne'Os now sat in the seat that was once his. A seat he never again wanted to be in. He gave Ne'Os and the others a slight nod, and took a seat.

The familiar sting in his arm came at a rather unexpected time. Grindelwald had been appointed minister, and Thaorson had just recently been deposed of as head death eater, so who had called the meeting? Obviously they had a new head, and curious to see who it was, Vincent decided to leave his work - finding evidence to jail Jess Potter with - and attend the meeting.

He arrived and Malfoy Manor a few minutes later and proceeded to the meeting room. And there, sitting at the end of the long table was Ne'os Emof. The appointment of Ne'os Emof would have caused him to go into a fury, but it really hadn't come as a surprise to Vincent. He had reasoned a couple days earlier that it could only possibly be Ne'os or himself, and after thinking about it a little, Vincent realized that Ne'os wouldn't be that bad. He was young, and could be influenced easily, unlike Thoarson or Sandra. Nevertheless, Vincent would still have preferred almost anyone else. From the moment he had met each other they had been foes, back when he had tried to send him to Azkaban.

'Congratulations Emof," Vincent said shortly, with a hint of sarcasm, as he took a seat at the middle of the table, far from where he usually sat near the head. "I hope you can guess why I'm here," he continued, watching Ne'os closely. Emof had recently been declared a terrorist and a traitor by Grindelwald, and Vincent had just been awarded the Chief Warlock position for his loyalty. He didn't necessarily have to be here then, but he was, for he wanted to see what the death eaters would decide to do next.
