Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Working on homework Empty Working on homework

Peter pushed open the door to the library and slouched in. Head bent, hands deep in pockets, shoulders hunched, it was the normal posture to walk into the library for the tall boy. He glanced around the room, and made his way to his favorite table in the library. It was secluded in a way, but he could see people before they saw him. Gave him time to think over any reactions towards them if they approached, not that anyone had ever approached before, but he liked to be on the safe side. Letting his bag drop onto the floor by the table, and sat down, his legs resting at odd angles, but he managed to fold himself into the smaller space and pulled out his books.

It wasn't long until he was completely immersed in his homework, his brow furrowed, flipping pages, and taking notes, while at the same time writing down little interesting facts he found out that he hadn't known before. It was a normal day to be sure, no one disturbed him, and he didn't disturb anyone. It had been like this all of last year, and the entirety of this year, after his sister had run off, and left him alone, he hadn't really made any other friends, and his entertainment was taking notes and doing homework, a very Ravenclaw thing to do of course, but his interest in random facts about Goblin Wars, and the history of spells, or maybe something interesting about Quidditch, or how wolfsbane was discovered. It was just his interests, and it took all of his attention, making him forget completely about anything else around him. Smudges of ink on his nose, his hair tousled from where he continually ran his fingers through his hair, causing it to stand up in a fohawk type fashion, he kept himself busy.

Working on homework Empty Re: Working on homework

Mariposa was different today. Today was the day she had decided to finally start acting more like a girl than a boy. She would miss the boy's uniform she used to wear but now she wore the girl's uniform, and she actually liked it. Maybe the skirt was the only thing she didn't like, it felt too short for her, but she sure knew how to work it. She wasn't aware of how someone of the boys gazed at her as she walked past them, whispering, asking who she was among themselves. They didn't recognize her of course, they're used to the girl who never wore skirts and who always wore a hat to hide the fact she was a girl and who never wore make up. Now she had her hair down, no hat, and she wore a bit of make up. Not as much as the other girl's wore of course, but she had enough to make herself seem very attractive.

Not what she was going for.

She walked down the corridor of the fourth floor to the library, leaving many of the boys' mouths open, especially when they found out who she was. When she entered the library, she immediately felt some of the eyes of the students in there turn to her. More whispering began, again people asking who she was among themselves, but she simply ignored it. She walked into one of the isles, not really paying attention to what isle she was entering. Mariposa just wanted to get away from the the stares she was getting, she didn't like them. She was never the center of attention when she wore her other clothes, but now it seemed all the attention was on her and she definately didn't like it at all. She began to rethink her decision of wearing the clothes she had today.

Working on homework Empty Re: Working on homework

Peter looked up nervously when he heard someone approaching his table. His hand immediately went to his hair and he ran his fingers through it, messing it up even more. A girl who looked thoroughly uncomfortable was walking towards him, and he could feel an anxious feeling rising in his stomach. She wasn't going to talk to him was she? No one ever came to this corner, unless it was to give him a message from a teacher, which was the only real reason anyone ever spoke to him, because he was off getting extra work from Professors, or discussing more in depth workings with them as well. The girl seemed distracted though, and it was obvious that she wasn't paying much attention to where she was going, maybe she would just skip by him, that would be nice.

He immediately buried his face in his book, hoping to look completely busy, it wasn't in his nature to speak to people he didn't know. He did know that he could speak to people about things like homework, and teach someone anything, even the dumbest of people could learn something from him, but social speaking was off of his agenda, he didn't make friends, and they didn't bother trying to be. They came to him for homework advice, maybe that's what she was doing, heading his way to ask a question about homework. He didn't recognize her, but that didn't mean someone hadn't told her about him, and she was coming to ask for help, though her expression didn't make them seem to likely, most people came to him with a purpose, not looking distracted and uncomfortable. He kept his face buried in his book, scribbling away, hoping she would just ignore him.
