Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Hey guys... I thought I would tell you that I'll be a bit inactive for the next couple of days... my dog River, had to be put down... We are heading down there today to bury her.. and then I just won't be up for rping for a while.... She was really old, and died of congestive heart failure, basically her lungs filled up with fluid and made it nearly impossible for her to breath... so the vet told us that we could either put her down now, or we could prolong it and let us say goodbye.... but either way she had about a day to live.... so we said put her down now, and we are going to go bury her on my grandma's land... Where she spent a year or so running around and having the time of her life...

I'll miss her dearly... she was the best dog I've ever had..

Oh, gosh. I hated it when I found my hamster dead. It was just as bad to learn of my bestie's dog's death. I get very attached to animals. Anyhow, I hope you feel better soon, in time. All dogs go to Heaven!

Not River! Awww, I'm sorry, Molly. Take as much time as you need. It's better this way- a quiet ending, rather than something bad. It's a lot better to have them put down, rather than let them die. It's difficult. You'll be in my prayers!

<3 your friend.

That's horrible to hear, I know how painful it can be to lose something close to you, particularly pets, I often find I'm closer to my pets than my family.

Take all the time you need, I just wish you lots of luck in getting over it, it's really painful, I know.

Best of luck, and I look forward to your return.

That is horrible to hear, River is in a better place now, it's horrible, I hate it when animals die. Don't worry, have a while, I took a while off RPing when my cousin Roberto died in the mountains when his 4 wheeler flipped over.
