Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Affliction. Empty Affliction.

The moon was full and high in the sky, teasing Ariel and calling him to it. His shoulders ached from the pain of transformation but it was never as bad as he’d experienced before. This was a dull ache, an excusable pain. There was much more to be done tonight than Ariel had first imagined. He couldn’t afford to worry about pain. There were other things he had to deal with and the first thing was to go down into London with the pack and sort out the rouge band they’d found out about the week before. Ariel was understandably nervous about the whole affair. He didn’t take Wolfsbane because often it made no difference but that was in a forest. He was going into London without Wolfsbane in his system.

Ariel just hoped his father kept a good enough eye on him.

Still, it was doubtful. Fenrir was all for new pack members and Ariel wasn’t confident in the idea that the man would stop him if the dog was overwhelmed. Ariel didn’t seem to have much to worry about though because the dog was as cautious as he was as they moved about in the shadows of London alleyways. No one wanted to be detected. Some had already gone ahead to take out the pups they’d heard and the rest hung back, refusing to move and some even refusing the breath.

Ariel’s nerves were beginning to get the better of him. The stench of sewer water was right up under his nose; the wall his back was pressed against was damp and was wetting the fur. He could hear his heart thundering against his rib cage and quite frankly, he felt like he was going to pass out. Another wolf had their hand or paw or whatever it was, curled around his wrist, keeping him where he was. It was as if that other person knew what was going on inside of Ariel’s head. It was as if he too could smell the humans and the blood that thumped through them at a steady, or in some cases unsteady, pace.

If anyone was to pass them now, they’d be as good as dead.

Lately, Lucas has been spending his time alone, in the forest since he had pretty much destroyed everything he's ever wanted. He ruined his first perfect relationship with a female, ruined the sisterhood of the Lestrange AND had punched Sophia's recent new beau. Things weren't going well for him.

He'd spend time here, as it was pretty much Lucas' and Sophia's first date here, in the full moon. He remembers everything. The food, the bubbly, the sweet kisses....that smell. The beautiful smell of Sophia Lestrange, and those bright big pink eyes. Personally, he's yet to see her show her big bright pink eyes to him, the so-called doctor named Andrian Potter.

Lucas sighed, and looked at the moon but frowned when he heard some noises and trees rustling as well as leaves on the ground rustling. He got up from where he was sitting and turned around to look in the bushes. There was nothing that he could see, then again it was fairly dark out.

He never usually worried about things like this, but perhaps he should start reading on magic that goes on at night, starting with creatures.

Affliction. Empty Re: Affliction.

Violent storm winds only stifled by the sky-climbing buildings whipped through the rabbit-warren city. The sounds of the wolves fighting were sounds Ariel knew well enough. The pack always fought. They were constantly at each other’s throats in order to better themselves and those who they fought. It was done specifically for this. There was a difference between sparring and fighting to the death and this was it. The snarls were vicious and the sounds of claws ripping through the skin on the wolves was enough to make Ariel cringe. Even the cries from the wolves suffering seemed to have an effect on those within the shadows, Ariel in particular.

He didn’t know what did it, whether it was the sound of the blood spilling out onto the pavement or something else, but something snapped inside of him and he took off running. He heard the yelps of the dogs behind him but he paid no attention to them. He was more worried about the fact that his dog had found a scent. The blood had shot him into overdrive and something had floated on the wind, something that had caught his attention. It was for that reason that Ariel was doing his best to try and get the animal under control – to no avail.

Ariel burst through a crowd of bushes and a growl tore from his lips. His eyes zeroed in on a lone figure and he dropped himself low to the ground, stalking.

Then he pounced, taking the person down and lifting his paw to swipe them across the face.
