What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Summer Magic Camp? Empty Summer Magic Camp?

Hey, All,

We've been talking about a summer magic camp. You know, a typical summer camp for students, where, in this case, along with campfires, smores and the like they would also be able to practice their skills that they have learned in Hogwarts while staying in wizarding tents, etc.

I would like it to run for two PA weeks--i'm sure that would be different than RL time. And I'd like it to run in the heart of the summer.

I would need grads as camp counselors or advisors.
I would also need students as campers.

Anybody but me think this sounds like it could be fun?

I can't see Amelia going to this, because her parents would think it was a waste of time and Antoinette would probably think the prospect of her daughter sleeping in tents with other people was revolting. Also, Amelia would likely fight her parents every step of the way about going.

However, I do think it would be a fun way for people to interact in a different setting. If it worked out plot-wise, I would volunteer Remy as a counselor. I have no idea how she would get this job (she isn't at all qualified to teach magic... at all) but if she were somehow appointed, I am sure she would use the position to its greatest advantage.

This sounds like an awesome idea to me. And maybe Leaila could be a counselor or adviser.. and some of my student charries would most likely go to the camp too.

I have Paris Radborn, who is a graduate (sorta) and would be quite an amusing advisors...

Perhaps he could teach a group of firsties to pick enchanted locks! XD

So so far we have about 2 students and a bunch of counsellors on board.

Khaat already knows this, but I support the idea quite a bit, I think it'd be fun. I know my students will be going.

I don't know who I'd send. Check list? Lol.

Athena - she'd rather slit her own throat.
Ariel - his mum will probably make him go, much to Fenrir's chagrin.
Rafael - he won't go at all, he likes being at home for the summer.
Elijah - he will pass through on his journey of discovery.
Philippa - she'll definitely go!
Trowa - he'll go too, probably.
^ I hope that's all of them. o.O
It isn't all of them. I am full of fail. My awesome sauce dried in the sun and it's cracking.
Marcus - He won't go anyway! LMAO!! xD

Lauren, Jen and Robbie are all free to work there. Cy could bump around also. I haven't used him in so long. o.O

Jamie might go depending on who's there.
Mira will go.. She's all up for more magic.
James (if I ever finish him) will go for sure.. But I wouldn't add him to the list yet (looking at my track record of finishing characters)
