Saying sorry is a hard thing to do Empty Saying sorry is a hard thing to do

Post by Samantha Burns Fri Apr 22, 2011 3:10 am

Sammy had been back to school now for a few days and running into people that she had either terrorized or almost killed but they didn't know it at the time. It was hard to handle all at once, but Sammy was lucky to have Sophia to talk to during the day. With all the kids and maybe some professors hating her it was hard to say that she had any friends. So as she walked into the Great Hall to have some breakfast then head to class she didn't expect to run into another vampire that she had almost tryed to kill. Little to say she didn't actually kill him and it was hard to remember all that she had said and done. The only parts that she did know was because Sophia helped to fill in the blanks. But Sophia didn't know everything that she did, and having wholes was killing her. So Sammy decided that it was time to start apologizing to people for trying to hurt them and what not. So Sammy walked over to the almost empty table an sat down next to Ryo hoping that he wouldn't try and hurt her just for being there. "Hello?." Sammy said in a low voice knowing he would hear her.

There were many things going on in Ryo's life and mind for a while now. They have mostly been bad things, and now about three people knew he was a vampire. He had been trying to keep it a secret from everyone and now it had been ruined in only about a week in his fifth year. The only good thing that's happened to him is that he has a girlfriend now, and he doesn't have to hide the fact he's a vampire from her. He had been thinking about Victorie when he suddenly sensed another vampire, someone he had met before. She sat next to him and said hello. He wasn't sure how to react, it was the same girl who had tried to kill him twice and she had tried to kill a second year boy as well. "Hey, Samantha.." he said in a weird voice, that he only used when he was uncomfortable around someone. He thought it was weird that after she tried to kill him she would be talking to him. But it had been a while since he last saw her. Maybe something had changed her.

Sammy listened to Ryo for a second after saying hello. His posture changed, his voice was odd, and she could sense that he didn't want to be next to her. Of course this hurt her feelings but she couldn't blame him for not wanting to be around her after what she tryed to do to him. "Please don't run or scream or anything like that. I promise I'm not here to hurt you." Sammy said in her best kind voice. She knows that he would probably not forgive her but she had to at least explain what happened to her, which was still not an excuse for acting the way she did. "I know that it will be a long time before you can forgive me for what I did, but I do have a good explination for what I did and I really am sorry. If you give me the time I can explain, if you like." Sammy said making sure to let him decide if he wants an explination or not.

"Don't worry I wasn't planning on running away or anything." he said with a dull expresion. Ryo looked at Samantha and nodded slowly. "Fine, I'd love to hear the explination you have for trying to kill me and that second year, Xemnas." he said, in a sort of mean voice. He didn't care about what she had tried to do to him, but what he did care about was the fact that she had tried to kill a 12 year old boy. But he noticed that there was something different about Samantha. She was acting different from the last time he'd seen her. She was acting nice and she wasn't trying to cover up and bad intentions, he could sense that her kindness was real, not something fake. Even thought he could sense, from past experiences, not just with her, but with other people, vampire and non-vampire alike, he had learned never to trust someone by how they seem or act. Even if he sensed kindness, that could easily turn into hatred or something like that. He looked at her, with somewhat kind eyes and waited for her explination.

Sammy was only some what surprised by his answer. She was greatfull that he was giving her a choice to explain what had happen to her, but now that she was thinking over her explination she realized that it was going to be hard to believe unless she started with meeting Ne'os and all that. So she took a deep calming breath and started. "Well my explination is going to be hard to believe unless I start at the begining. First off have you ever heard of a guy named Ne'Os? He was in the papers a few months ago. About his death and what not?" Sammy asked him if he didn't know who Ne'Os was this was going to be even harder than she thought that it would be. As she talked about Ne'Os an acking pain shot through her memories. It was hard to talk about him without bringing up old feelings and memories. But she had to do it in order to get over him quicker.

"Hmm.. yeah I've heard of him.." he said. He knew Ne'Os was a bad guy, just how bad he was, that Ryo didn't know.

He didn't really care. It didn't involve him so he never paid much attention. He stared at Samantha, guessing that the reason she had acted the way she did was because of Ne'Os.

Good thing that he had heard of him it would be hard to explain without him knowing. So she continued. "OK, well you see Ne'Os is my ex-husband. He was good for awhile, but something in him changed, he became evil and tryed to kill me and my friend a while back. He was killed by Matt Lestrange. One of my best friends father. But now he's back, I'm not sure how and it surprised me. So I went back up to his old house about a month ago to see if it was true that he was back. It turned out that he was and he took me captive and forced me to be like him using spells and what not. So for awhile I was his little puppet, but then one day about a couple of weeks ago I was in a bar and had a fight with this woman and she knocked me out. Then she used a spell alot like the one Ne'Os did and made me do what she wanted me to. So I killed people and hurt others and alot of stuff that I'm not proud of but finally about a couple of days ago my best friend found me after I had just killed someone and she dueled me. She won and changed me back to my normal self. I have been trying to make things right in my life again ever since. But it's been hard." Sammy said wondering how much of it he would believe or question. It was a hard story to believe. But Sammy wasn't lieing about anything and she hoped that she would be able to make a friend today.

Ryo looked at Samantha in a sort of confused way. But he believed her. "I heard about that duel, from my second year friend, Hitame, who apparently was the one who knocked you out." he told her.

"She told me everything. And I know that the best friend who turned you good again is Sophia Lestrange. I met her in Hogsmeade a few... days... after I met you." he told her.

"Well whatever happened, it's good to see you are back to normal." he smiled.

Sammy had almost forgotten about Hitame being the one that knocked her out. Of course that was before she was normal again so Sophia had to tell her about it after she was normal again. "Oh yeah, Hitame was the one to knock me out. That was before I was turned normal so it's hard to remember. There's alot of things that I can't remember about the past month." Sammy said with embarrament and honesty behind her words. Then she realized that it was alot easier than she thought to convice him that she was good again. She was pleased that she was able to meet such nice people like him and Hitame and Sophia. "So how long have you known Hitame? I don't know much about her, having only meet her that day and not really seeing much of her after that." Sammy asked him wondering why it was again that Hitame had been in that part of the alley anyways.

"I've known Hitame since she was a first year." he said, thinking back two years ago. "I haven't seen her around very often either, she doesn't really go outside of the Gryffindor common room anymore. When she does go outside of it, she'll usually go to the lake but something makes her go back." he told Sammy, he was worried about Hitame and he wanted to help her. "She told me it was all because of her family. She just found out she had two brothers, one older, one younger. You know one of them, Xemnas. Actually to be honest, I'm not trying to make you feel back or anything, but you're the... reason.. she's been.... acting weird. She has been very depressed and she's been acting devious ever since you hurt Xemnas." he explained, trying his best to not hurt Sammy's feeling. "She also has the problem that her younger brother isn't ready to accept her as his sister, and her younger sister is here too and she is trying to keep her from everything that's been going on." he said softly.
