Jack and Chase's Date

Jack stumbled through the snow to the shop. He honestly had no idea why he was even coming. He just felt like joining this blind date thingie-ma-bob. He Hoped the date wouldn't be a total pain-in-the-butt, but after all, Jack was a pretty big pain. He shook his head clear and walked into the shop... literally. He hadn't noticed the absolutly clear door. He rubbed his nose, and cursed silently. Muggle curses, of course. Jack wasn't low enough to use Unforgivables or anything like those. He pulled open the door and stumbled in, the sudden warmth slightly shocking compared to outside. He walked up to the waiter, and asked half-consiously

"Wheres the bathroom?"

It took him a minute to realise he hadn't said what he thought and the waiter was trying hard not to laugh. Cursing silently again, Jack decided to find his table on his own. He escaped the twisted limbs of the chairs and love-makers, and finally found his own table. He sat down grudgingly and unconsiously tapped his fingeres against the table-top, tired.

To be honest, Chase was already dating someone. In fact... she was pregnant with someone else's baby. And yet she was going on a blind date? Why would she possibly do that, one would ask, but the answer was simple. She had gotten jealous again. Elijah Krum had signed up for it, and there was no doubt he would end up snogging some other chick that night, maybe even go farther then that with his ability to capture any girl he wanted to. Wouldn't it just be a laugh if got someone, that he had already made think that he loved them, and then dropped, or had gotten one of the few people in the school that hated his guts. Chase smirked slightly and then shook her head and walked down the street quickly. She looked like a normal teenage girl, an exception being her extremely red hair, and rather, model like quality about the way she walked gracefully, even when she was being clumsy.

Pushing open the door to the teashop, she shivered and hugged herself as she made her way into the shop and glanced around. People of all different aspects were here today, and most of them were either snogging, or staring into each others eyes. Chase quickly pulled out a piece of paper she had been given with a description. She stood for a long moment looking around the room, until she finally caught site of a person at a table, by themselves, who matched the description of the person she had been given. Chase stumbled over to him, knocking into people accidentally and getting dirty looks for it. As she made her way across the room, she couldn't help but look him over and wonder at what he was like, and what had made him sign up for the blind date anyway.

"Hello..." She said lightly, pulling off her jacket when she got to him. "Are you.. Are you here for the blind date? I'm Chastity... Chastity Moor." She said with a light smile, flashing white, straight teeth at him. Her nose crinkled slightly as she watched him, and then set her jacket on the chair across from him. "May I join you?" She asked gently, knowing that he could be anyway, from anywhere, and she would never really know.

Jack looked up, and nodded.

"Course.. I guess..."

Jack waved her down for her to take a seat, and ran his hands through his hair. Jack looked her over. She was pretty cute, but her stomach looked a little.. large. But, ah, you can't judge a person by their stomach weight. Jack absentmindedly tapped his fingers against the table, and replied to here.

"Names Jack Kubin, nice ter meetcha.."

He said quietly. Jack yawned and covered his mouth. This was a chance to actually get someone. He tried smiling at her, and realized that she must've been a year older or so. WHatever, bonus for me. I could be dating an older woman... Hhe thought happily.

[OOC: haha sorry I forgot to add in my post that she doesn't actually LOOK pregnant.. she's skinny, her clothes make it so she looks normal]

Chase smiled at him and looked around the shop. "It's a cute little place isn't it? I've never been here before." She said smiling at him. "Well it's nice to meet you Jack Kubin." She said with a grin. "Now... I just want to make sure one thing is clear before we start." She said softly, her cheeks starting to grow red. "I actually already have a boyfriend.. but he decided to be an ass and go and sign up for this thing.. so I signed up too.. mostly because he made me jealous, but there it is.. so really this is just a one time date thing.. sorry." She said softly, her cheeks still red.

"My boyfriend is stupid sometimes.. and I just can't stand it to the point where I do the same thing he does, just in the hopes that he won't like it.. and maybe he'll stop you know.." She said lightly before picking up the menu. "And because that is the case, I'll pay for my own food.. I'm sorry again." She said softly. "But I thought it best to tell you right when I got here.. so that there weren't any.. you know.. false hopes of a relationship or something!" She said with a short laugh before she buried her reddening face in her menu, looking at the foods they had to offer. "It's like.. only coffee and tea.." She muttered, a frown on her face as she glanced it over and sighed. "How boring.. anyway.. tell me about yourself Jack, I love learning new things about people!" She said with a grin at him, flicking her red hair over her shoulder.
