What I deserve Empty What I deserve

Post by Felix Barker Sun Feb 06, 2011 7:43 pm

Felix opened his eyes blearily, it was dark in the room. Very, very dark. He lifted his head up and went to itch his face, but realized he couldn't move his arms. After struggling for a few moments, he realized that his arms were tied behind the chair he was sitting in. After blinking for a few moments longer, his eyes started to adjust to the dark room, and he realized he was in a virtually empty room, empty except for his chair and that was it. He was sitting in the middle of the room, and after looking around a bit, he saw some torches along the walls, meaning it could be lit up, it just wasn't. So this was how they were going to do it. Tie him up in a room, it was time for him to get his punishment. He had never thought he would just spend his life in jail. His eyes were already sunken in, and his hair looked pretty dirty and messed up. It had only taken a day for the Dementors to get through his barrier and start to turn his head inside and out.

Even then, in a room where there were no Dementors, he could feel them, they were close. He sat up slightly and looked around the room again, attempting to get his hands unbound, but realized it was pointless, his hands were tied to the chair itself, and it appeared that the chair was bolted to the floor. It was a torture room for sure, of course Felix had no idea who was the actual torturer, and he was almost nervous about it. His head kept having horrible flashes to his father beating him as a child, to finding the note that his mother had left him, to going on the run, to getting caught, to Naomi standing in front of those werewolves. His heart was beating faster, and sweat started to break out on his forehead. Just thinking them was making him get shaky, and he was almost happy he was tied to a chair, or else he would have slid out.

The person who had put him in the chair obviously had no qualms about making him sit for a while by himself. Not that he minded much, it was away from the direct force of the Dementors. He sat silently, his eyes completely adjusted to the room then. He tried to remember the last thing he had seen before he had woken up in this room. He had been sitting on the floor of his cell, staring at the wall opposite him, his guess was that he had either been stupified or he had fallen asleep and they had gotten him then. Whatever the case was, he was now stuck to a chair in a dark room, waiting for someone to come and tell him what they had on their mind, he just hoped it was someone good, if it was Layton, he'd probably throw up, the dude barely knew how to throw a punch, let alone torture someone. Shaking his head, he made himself as comfortable as possible, and waited.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Robert Lupin Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:12 pm

Robert had made a special trip to Azkaban and had taken over an empty office. He had set about decorating it. The walls had been painted a shade of puke green, and old 60's metallic institutional furniture had been relagated to this overgrown closet of misfit furniture. He started by taking great pleasure in drawing his wand and blowing the furniture to bits. When it was nothing more than shrapnel, he disapparated it.

He set about conjuring furnishings more suited to his likings. Classic oak paneling. Leather furniture. A lead crystal window with brocade drapes. Heavy tables. Antique lamps, tapestry rugs, classical paintings, a marble fireplace with a blazing fire in the hearth. And of course a pair of leather wing chairs in the room in front of the fireplace with a table between them.

He had tea brought. Proper tea. Earl Grey. He poured a powerful potion into the teapot. It was odorless and completely tasteless. He drew a bottle from his desk and drank a large dose of it himself. Then he ordered the guards to bring Barker to him. The hell with Rob Dent. Robert wanted to talk to Barker himself. And now was as good as the present. He ordered them to at least hose down Barker and make him look and smell less disgusting before he came in and sat on the leather furniture. The guard grinned, seeming to take great enjoyment in getting permission to run a garden hose over Barker.

"Dry, you idiot," Robert barked. "I don't want him dripping on the rug." The amusement left the guard's face, and he trudged off to fetch Barker for the Minister.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Felix Barker Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:23 pm

Felix heard footsteps outside of the room. Heavy ones, and not matching the weight of anyone he knew. When the door opened, it nearly blinded him, and he had to close his eyes and turn his face away from the light that was thrown directly onto him from the door. "Damn." He growled and blinked rapidly to try and get used to the light. He waited for the light to go on, something to happen and before his eyes could get used to the light, there was a small drip of water, and suddenly he was being blasted by what felt like a hose. He gasped and spluttered, feeling the cold water stinging his sensitive skin. "Damn! Merlin stop it!" He growled and the water stopped for a second, only to go back on full force in a matter of seconds. "What the hell is wrong with you!" He growled when finally the water stopped.

Blinking past the water that was now dripping from his hair, he looked up to see what looked like a rather muscular guard standing over him still holding the hose. Felix rolled his eyes. "Thanks.. I needed a bath." He growled, his eyes glued to the man, who took out his wand and with a flick of it, had him dried off and not smelling like Azkaban any longer. The dripping stopped and his hair became fluffy again, lifting up out of his face as he sat there staring at the guard. "Come with me." the guard said and went around him, untying his hands from the chair, but not from each other, and pushed him out of his seat. Felix was a lot smaller then this brute, and could only do what he said to do, and that was to walk in front of the man.

After a few minutes of walking down dark hallways, the guard finally stopped and opened the door, half pushing him in, as he set to work sitting him in the chair in front of the Minister. "Hey Minister, Long time no see." Felix said lightly, wincing slightly as the man pulled the ropes off of his wrists with fingers that were to large to undo such small knots. One Felix was properly untied, he set to making sure he couldn't get out of the chair and tied his legs to the chair legs, and then wrapped a rope over his lap. "Anything I can do for you sir? Just trying to live out my sentence as planned." He said with a smirk, the shadows under his eyes much more prominent in the flickering light of the fire.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Robert Lupin Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:44 pm

"Hello, Barker," Robert said lightly. "We have a bit of business to take care of, but we must observe the social customs first, mustn't we? Propriety, Barker. It's all important." Robert didn't believe in propriety for one moment. Not really. But it served his purposes.

He went over and sat in the other wing chair, laid his wand on his lap, and poured the tea. "Earl Grey. It really is the proper tea, I suppose," Robert said. "Lept yourself to cream or sugar. I prefer mine without," he said, picking up his teacup. He took a sip of the strong black tea. "Well, at least they do have decent tea when they make up their minds to it.'

"So tell me, Boy, how are the accommodations? Bed nice and warm and comfy? Food is five star? How are the dementors treating you?" He did have questions for Barker, not that he would get the answers he wanted. In fact he was counting on not getting them. And there was th strongest of possibilities that if he did get the answers he wanted, he'd kill Barker just for being a huge prat.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Felix Barker Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:02 pm

Felix stared at the Minister across the desk from him. Offering him tea? Asking him how his accommodations were? Felix stared at him with a small amount of disbelief as he offered him tea. He stared at the tea and didn't reach for it. His hands were free, and he could do whatever, of course it wasn't like he could do much strapped to the chair as he was, but hey, it was a start. When he was around people, they tied his hands back, it was just like that. So it was odd that his hands were free, simply so he could drink some tea, have a pleasant chat with the Minister of Magic, and go back to his cell? Yeah right. Felix felt himself smirk slightly, and shrugged. "Sure, the bed is beautiful, lovely view from my room, the food is simply exquisite, and the Dementors are the perfect hosts, I could be on vacation." He said with an absolutely straight face.

He watched as the Minister took a drink out of his own tea, and felt his eyes narrow slightly. He had poured both of their tea from the same pot.. and both of the glasses had been empty, would the Minister really poison himself, just so that he could get to Felix? Probably not.. So obviously the tea was fine right? He wasn't so sure, but it looked so inviting, sitting there on the desk, next to the sugar. Felix, after a moment hesitation, reached forward and put two cubes of sugar into his tea, before bringing it to his lips. He kept it there without drinking it for a moment, just smelling and enjoying the fact that the tea was his to drink. He hadn't thought he'd ever actually get to drink tea in Azkaban, and yet here he was, sipping tea.

After sitting with the tea to his lips for a few moments, Felix took a large gulp and nearly sighed with how good it tasted. After the bland food, that was usually nearly rotten, bread as hard as rocks, and a bed that less comfortable then the floor, this tea was like heaven. Such a simple thing to love, but here it was, Felix was basking in this taste, a taste he had guessed he wouldn't ever get to experience again. Setting the cup down, he looked up at the Minister. "Is this really all you wanted from me Minister? I'm sure you have better things to do then to question..." Felix froze, and his mouth opened slightly, it started in his stomach, a burning, itching, painful sensation, that flew through his veins, making him feel like he was on fire. He closed his mouth and gulped, as his mind was suddenly attacked by memories, his worst nightmare, every bad thing that looked like it hadn't affected him, but had. Then pain sprouted from between the eyes, his head felt like it was going to split in half, and his hands automatically went to it, trying to keep his head in one piece.

He gasped loudly, and doubled over on himself, his hands on his head, memories flashed past his eyes, his skin burned and crawled, his head made every physical pain feel that much worse. It was like he was being attacked from every angle, every bit of him hurt and in pain, even his emotions were under attack, making him feel so many different things it hurt to even sit there. More gasps escaped Felix's lips, and he shifted around in his chair, as though trying to find a spot where it would hurt least it was like a crucio curse for every part of him, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, every' ally' part of him was fire, and his eyes slowly raised to look up at the Minister. So the tea had been poisoned, Felix was an idiot, blinded by the fact that he got tea, it was like he had gotten a small taste of heaven, before they remembered he wasn't supposed to go there and sent him straight to hell.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Robert Lupin Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:27 pm

Robert watched Felix drink the tea, and he sat motionless as he watched Barker drink it. He maintained his level of civility with the man until it was obvious that this potion had started to take effect. He wove a spell so that his voice would penetrate every part of Felix's mind--everwhere, echoing even in the most vulnerable parts. Barker had thought he was good at "messing with" people, but he truly was an amateur. He was about to meet the master. And this was only the first lesson. Robert could cause fear in nearly anyone without trying. But today he needed Barker to know he meant business.

"Now you listen to me," Robert said in a quiet, forboding tone, "You think you can come into England and cause harm to innocent witches and wizards? Well, lets just remind you what that feels like, shall we? Lets start there as our first order of business. Once we help you in remembering, then we can talk about what I do and do not expect from you. For now, I think you just need some time to remember what pain really is."

He didn't say another word. Instead he refilled his teacup and enjoyed a second cup of Earl Gray, sat back in his chair and crossed one leg over the other, waiting.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Felix Barker Sun Feb 06, 2011 9:42 pm

Felix was doubled over in pain, feeling this man's voice in his head. "Get out." He whispered, his voice sounding rather weak, shaky. He was a bastard, sitting there, such a calm way, watching as pain almost literally ripped him apart, with absolutely no actual damage done. He rocked back and forth slightly, small gasps of pain heard for quite some time. Until finally he couldn't hold it back any longer and they turned to whimpers of pain. He was trying hard not to let a tear shed from this pain, he wouldn't cry for this man, the pain had backed off somewhat, to the point where it hurt everywhere, but it wasn't enough to make him scream at all. He just sat there, rocking back and forth, pain, torture, suffering, it all flashed through his mind. Every bit of pain he had caused came back ten fold, and he could have sworn he was dying. Finally he was crying, tears poured down his face. Naomi was hurt, they were hurting her! Someone had their wand pointed at her.

"Don't hurt her." He whispered, tears pouring down his cheeks. This emotional pain was to much, how could someone deal with it? He had caused it, and yet he couldn't deal with it... it was why he caused it, so he wouldn't have to feel it. But they were hurting Naomi! They had her here! They were torturing her! Hurting her. "Let her go!" He cried out, as the flashes flew past his eyes, while still at the same time his body was under the effects of the potions, his body was shaking as his muscles contracted and relaxed over and over, sweat beaded on his forehead and mixed with the tears that ran down his face. "You bastard... You bastard.." He whispered over and over. "I'll kill you! I'll kill you and you're family, every single one of them, the children, the pets, I'll kill them all for what you're doing to me." He cursed, still rocking back and forth in pain.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Robert's spell allowed him to just whisper and have it penetrate Felix as easily as if he had crawled right into that sleezy brain Barker had. He let Barker squirm and threaten all he wanted.

"No..you..won't," Robert said, utterly fearlessly. His words were slow and very deliberate. "Your magic is gone. Gone forever, unless I and I alone decide to give it back. You're useless now. Completely and utterly purposeless. I own you now. 100%. And right now? I'm feeling like you're thirsty. You're very, very thirsty."

He got up, pinched Barker's nose shut, and when Barker opened his mouth to breathe, Robert fed him more tea. A whole bloody cup of it. He let go of Barker and resumed his seat, calmly. Almost too calmly. "That looks better. Can't have you sitting there, all tied to that chair and uncomfortable. More tea. Thats what you needed. Now, what was that you were saying, Boy? I wasn't listening to all of it."

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Felix Barker Sun Feb 06, 2011 10:06 pm

Felix let out a loud groan when the man's voice penetrated his head again. "No... no... I don't.. No.." He gasped out, his voice coming out in a hoarse growl now. "I don't belong to anyone.. I am no ones!" He growled fighting against what he was being told, and only getting more pain because of it. It hurt to talk, but he couldn't stop, unable to keep his mouth shut, but also in so much pain he had to. So it simply came out as a growl, his lips working hard with silent words, his eyes squeezed shut. "I'll get it back.. I'll get it back!" He growled out, his voice getting louder. When the man stood up, Felix involuntarily jerked away from him. Nearly cutting himself in half with the rope as he almost fell out of the chair. His arms flew up to shield his face, but he fell to his sides when a small piece of heaven entered his mouth. The man had made him chug the rest of the tea, making sure he drank it all before going back to his seat.

It was like the quiet in the storm. A recall to heaven, but really he had only gone in place of someone else, and within a minute, they had thrown him back down to the fire of hell. He screamed in pain and agony as his mind and body was assaulted yet again. His mind was full of his bastard torturing and killing Naomi, while pain shot through his body. His father was smacking him across the face, bruises he had to hide from the public, scars that would never heal. If you were to watch his mind as it flashed all of this, you could almost feel sorry for the main who was writhing in pain across from the Minister. But of course then you were reminded what he had done, and it wasn't that hard to hate him again. "I know.. how to torture.. without magic you prick." He growled, his head falling back against the back of his chair. Felix's breathing was heavy, the pain was still intense, but he couldn't fight anymore. His muscles has relaxed completely and he lay spent on the chair, whimpering softly as pain overtook his mind and body, to tired to fight back anymore. It had lasted nearly ten minutes, but he couldn't take it anymore. Pain shot through his limbs, his mind, and all that could come out anymore was a whimper, until Lupin decided to help him out there. He sat whimpering in pain and what was almost a soft plead of fear in the back of his throat, his eyes half fluttering, the pain to much after fighting it to long, he just let his mind bask in it, unable to do anything else but that.

What I deserve Empty Re: What I deserve

Post by Robert Lupin Sun Feb 06, 2011 10:26 pm

"You have no idea who you've trifled with, do you?" Robert hissed with enough malace to make almost anyone shiver to the core. "And you don't really get it, do you? You arent..ever..getting...out..of here..alive," Robert whispered. "That little Greyback girl? She'ls going to wither up and rot before she sees you again. Dust to dust, my boy, dust to dust. Think of it, Living her life alone and without anyone to give a damn, not even you? Then dying alone, no one finding her rotting corpse, alone for all of her life because of you? Because YOU didn't know how to make the right choices in order to be with her?

"Look closer, Barker. The only one torturing her is YOU. You're the one who has bent her mind into thinking she had a future with you. You're the reason she's alone now. Oh, and by the way, I will kill your animal when I find it. He's a health hazard. He really will have to go, you know.

"You really should not have ever thought you could work for Burke or Gelding. That was your first mistake. You didn't do your homework, I killed their fathers just like I killed yours. And I'm not beyond killing you. And your second was in thinking that in doing so, you could escape me. Your third was in ever even thinking you could so much as think about my daughter, much less hurt her or her children. My grandchildren.

"I might vote to send you beyond the veil, but not yet. Not before we have a few little chats. And you know what, I was reading a few unfortunate accidents of people just falling through the veil. I would hate to see that happen to you," he said slowly, tauntingly.
