Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The Importance of Family Empty The Importance of Family

Post by Logan Luzio Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:14 pm

Logan looked up at the hordes of owls fluttering around the owlery, trying to find one that looked up for the journey to his home. He had sent his gifts already, he had done that awhile ago. But he had gotten his mother's care package and gifts, as well as the long letter and the gift from his little sister RJ, a picture of her and his beloved dog Hale, in a frame she had made herself. It meant so much to him that he has been unashamed to put it on his bedside table.

But now he was responding to his mother's insanely large letter with one of his own, though it was not quite as long. RJ had also sent him a letter so he had written her one and addressed two scrolls, one to 'Mum' and one to 'Rue.' He adored his little sister so he felt no shame in thinking of her so fondly. She had been dying to come to Hogwarts with him for the past four or five years and he was eager for the next year when she would be able to.

He found a mellow, but strong looking, school barn owl and called him down. The owl rested on the window sill while Logan worked on tying the letters to the owl's leg. He felt a little tired after Christmas, but thoroughly content, having received sweaters, sweets, and money, everything a young boy needed for Christmas. Even if the honey colored sweater he was wearing was a little scratchy it had come from home, making it very important to him.
