What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Surgery Empty Surgery

Hey, All!

Just a very quick notice. Most of you know, but as a reminder. I have outpatient surgery tomorrow on my left eye and then on 12/6 I have outpatient surgery scheduled for my right eye. I do not anticipate being gone more than the actual days of surgery themselves.

And if I can be on those days for awhile in the evening, I will. But since I don't normally miss a day being online, I thought I'd let you know

For those of you who believe in prayer, say a quick prayer for me that all goes well.

another surgery? You are quite busy, as I can see.
But I did as you asked. I said a quick prayer (though I don't even have an idea how to do this, but what i did was to wish that everything will go well). so good luck, and hope to see you feeling very well, and good online again Wink

Update. The first surgery went very, very well. So well in fact that instead of waiting 2 weeks to do the second surgery, the surgeon has moved up the date of the second surgery to this coming monday. so...hopefully but a week from today, i'll be seeing better than ever!!!

so my posting might be a bit sketchy until then. so, please be patient. i'll be here as i can be, but i am going to be slower posting for the next week.

what a wonderful and amazing early christmas present!!

Second surgery was done today. By what I can tell, things do appear to have gone well. Will know more tomorrow. BUt, anyway, thanks for all the support and kindness I've gotten from everyone. Hope to be back to "full speed" in a day or two.

Ok. new update. the bandages are all finally gone from both eyes. YAY. And I can see distance really, really well. Print, however, is another matter completely. It could take up to a month in order for me to be able to really read print as i need to. so, for right now, i ask for your patience as my eyes heal enough for them to be able to prescribe the right strength reading glasses. i may be slower. i WILL be here! but i am going to be slower.
