What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. a good book and a warm fire Empty a good book and a warm fire

Cecilia sat in the raven claw common room later in the day. she was reading a muggle book about vampires that sparkled. "oh my god." She yelled throwing the book across the room "Vampiers dont' sparkle." then she would pick it up again and start reading it. "what ever muggle wrote this is grate at love storys and horible when it comes to magicla beans." she really did love the romance of the story but couldn't stand the whole vampires sparkleing thang

Jaelyn had had a rough day so far; she had woken up with a sore throat, and when she rolled out of bed, she realized that it was raining outside. The redhead hated the rain, mainly because it forced her to stay inside, away from the Quidditch pitch. She had managed to get through the one class she had later that morning by sucking on some muggle lozenges that her father had thrown in her truck -- she was notorious for getting sick randomly -- and not coughing up a lung. Now that she was done with classes for the day, however, she figured she could get a few letters written for home. After digging through her trunk to find a spare roll of parchment and a new quill, she started the decent from the dorm to the common room. Just as she was stepping into the room, she watched as one of her housemates threw a book across the room, and then pick it up. Jae let out a small chuckle and walked on into the common room, finding an overstuffed arm chair that she had claimed as 'hers' during her second year. She folded herself into the chair and then looked toward the girl, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "I'm going to guess it isn't that good of a book?" she asked, another laugh almost bubbling up.

I know I"ve never meet oen that did. unless they were wearing sparkley makeup or something." she shook her head and silently went back to reading her book. the flames from the fire dance around makeing sadows and light reflect off of hter faces. "i haven't meet you yet have i? are you knew?"

Jaelyn shook her head at her housemate, and then spoke. "Yeah, I've never really seen a vampire sparkle either. Gotta love muggles, eh?" she watched as the girl started reading again. Jae shrugged and picked up the parchment, then just kind of . . . sat there. She had no idea what she was going to write home about, she just knew that she needed to. She knew that she could write to her mother about her classes, and to her father about the Quidditch team. Just as she started to write, the girl spoke up again. Jae looked up, and then shook her head. "Nope, I've been here since I was eleven," she said, smiling. I'm Jaelyn; Jaelyn Hunter. I'm a sixth year." Jae was pretty sure he had seen the girl before, just hadn't really talked to her.

"Wow have been off in my own little world to much....." Cecilia said laughing at her self. "I"m Cecilia, Cecilia Krum." she shook her head at the book murmuring something about how muggles could be so funny and unusual yet so uneducated on the magical world. yeah it was hidden from them but they could still probaly tell that a vampier would not sparkle. they are mean and spiteful.. the wouldn't sparkle. if muggles wanted something that sparkled then they would need to find one.

Jae smiled at the girl when he introduced herself, and then laughed a little bit at how she said she must be in her own little world. "It's nice to meet you, Cecilia." She understood that, because more often than not she was pushing other people out of her mind and not really noticing that anyone else was around. The redhead looked back down at her paper, then realized that she still had no idea what to write, so she placed her belongings on the floor and then stretched out in the chair. Once she was comfortable, she looked back to Cecilia. "So, what's the name of this horrible book?" she asked, figuring she could at least make polite conversation, since they were the only two in the room.

Twilight i think." Cecilia said closeing the book and looking at the cover . "yes it is Twilight by Stephany Myers." she shook her head "silly little stephany Myers. dosne't know that vampiers don't sparkle." she giggled then set the book in her lap. she really didn't have anything better to do. "do you play quidditch?" ceci aksed. it was one of the few things she did besides read and sit out side during thunder storms. though it wasn't really good for books. the only reson she wasn't out side in the rain..

Jae crinkled her nose as the girl said it was Twilight. "I've heard of that . . . but never read it." She tried to read when she could, but most of the time she got stir-crazy and had to leave the common room or dormitory, which was almost what was happening now. She had practically grown up outside -- in a good way, of course -- and being inside for long stints of time just bothered her. As Cecelia asked if she played Quidditch, Jae perked up a bit and nodded. "Yup, been on the team for a few years now," she said proudly.

"oh what postition?" Cecilia aisked. she took after her father so much. Vicktor was the one that had thought her how to play and she fell in love with it. it was naturle in her family to not be good at quidditch but she didn't see her self as the best. she though she could be better. though she wasn't playing this year because she felt she spent to much time on her own. she didn't really have any friends nor did she spend much time wither her family. she never hand. but ceiclia was going to change that.

"Beater," she replied. When she first got recruited for the team, she really had no idea what position she was going to play. However, once she got the bat in her hand, she found that it really helped to get her anger out and this way, she could take it all out on the small, angry balls flying at her. When she played with friends, though, she had been known to play other positions, just to get some experience with it. "It helps me get all my aggression out, y'know? What about you? Do you play?"
