Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Distractions are worth getting a ‘T’ for. Empty Distractions are worth getting a ‘T’ for.

Adam yawned. He was sitting in the Hufflepuff common room with books surrounding him, some open and some hidden under piles upon piles of parchment. He’d gotten behind on his homework and it was starting to get a bit obscene. Not only did he have trouble reading some of what he wrote in the dim light but the Braille was getting difficult to make out as well. He was gradually becoming more and more tired. He took the book off of his lap and reached over to the coffee table. He picked up his mug of hot chocolate and closed his eyes, pulling out of the ruby-eyed cane as he did so.

The darkness was a lot easier to deal with. It was nicer and more relaxing. He breathed in the sweet smell of the chocolate and put it to his lips. His mother’s recipe was better but he couldn’t knock the house elves; they worked so hard. Adam put the drink down on the table and put his book back on his lap, deciding to continue working. He needed some kind of distraction though and no amount of chocolate would do it.

Victoire strode into the Hufflepuff common room, her blonde wavy hair bouncing neatly behind her as she noticed a familiar face sitting near the fireplace. Glancing around momentarily, Victoire shrugged, deciding that talking to someone would be way more fun than Charms homeork. Striding over she sat herself down and said,

"Hey Adam, what's up?"Victoire asked casually as she stretched her legs out in front of herself with a wide yawn.

[ooc: hope this is alright]
