Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Sierra had just got back from a picnic with her friends, and was getting ready for bed. She reached for her purse, but found it was not on her bedside table. Shoot! Sierra put her shoes back on, and threw on her cloak to help with the cold.

Where is that purse!? Sierra took out her wand, and lit it so she could see better. As she was looking behind a tree, she spotted a black lump by a stump. She went to investigate, and found it was her purse! Sierra did a silent cheer, and started back to the catsle.

Matt was preparing something for a certain someone. He had Nagrin on his shoulder on lookout. With his new found ability to talk to animals he was sure to not be caught. Did you find anyone?! he asked Nagrin. It still needed work but she knew what he had said. Nothing Master! I shall look again though She flew off to look for anyone intruding once more..

Sierra was about to light her wand to see, when she heard a twig snap. Twigs don't snap by themselves. They have to be stepped on. Sierra immediatly ducked behind a tree, taking out her wand. For saftey reasons, not for attacking.

Another twig snapped. Sierra's heart was beating a million times a second. And then something snapped inside of her. Sierra stepped out from behind the tree, a still sillouette in the night. She stepped forward, not making a sound.

Up ahead, she could hear a voice. It was male, probably an adult. Without thinking, Sierra lit her wand. Her face seemed to be as white as a sheet, like she was a ghost. Her black hair made her look like a corpse, and the lines under her eyes from staying up so late made her seem even more evil.

Matt jumped into one of the trees to see if he could see Nagrin. She was circling around a few feet away from him. That meant someone was there, he jumped down and grinned. She flew back down too him and landed on his shoulder. Just over there, there is someone who looks like trouble! she said. I'll take care of it! Matt said to her. She flew off into the trees, he started moving towards were the person was supposed to be. He pulled out his wand but didn't light it. He moved slowly and carefully.

The male voice stopped. A figure suddenly became visible through the darkness. Sierra shut off the light from her wand. She then became a sillouette again. A mere shadow. Sierra crept to the side, as if she was gliding on air.

The man was tallish, well built, and was surprisingly quiet. Sierra still had no idea who he was. She wanted to light her wand, but it would give her away immediatly. The man could be a friend, or he could be a foe. Sierra hoped he was a teacher...that happened to be out at midnight...

Matt figured he'd better not talk, the person might be a foe! After all who would be out in the middle of the night, someone up to no good! He held his wand high and thought Expelliarmus aiming to send the wand out of the persons hand. Then he thought Stupefy!

Sierra felt her wand fly out of her hand, dissapearing in the darkness. But the red light hit the tree, bursting into sparks. Sierra fled to the next tree, lifting herself up to the the lowest branch. The next branch was a ways away, she stood up shakily, and reached her arm up, her fingers touched the branch, and she looked down once she was up on the next branch. The ground looked so far away!

Matt heard the person jump in the tree and his spell hit the tree. He aimed a bunch of Stupefys at the tree hoping to hit the person or the branch he or she was on. He kept quiet however only thinking the spells. He needn't kill the person, unless they fired back!

So far, Sierra had dodged 5 spells. One more came at her. She could either let go, get hit, or risk her life, and hang off the branch. She chose her third option. In one fluid motion, she grabbed the branch tightly, flung her legs off, and hung in the air. The spell sored over the branch. Sierra could feel the heat from the sparks on her back. Struggling to lift her legs up onto the branch, her hands slipped the slightest bit, startling her.

Matt was beginning to get frustrated with this person. If they didn't leave he would be forced to do something he really didn't want to do. He aimed his wand at a shadowy figure and grinned. He couldn't miss this time, STUPEFY! he shouted, his voice gruff and angry sounding.
