Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

For all not quditch members before the match begins you can converse here.

Aden took a seat in the gryfindor section and prepared for the match. He was not here for fun, but he was here to scout,

When it was for the quidditch, Miseria was always there to support someone. Although, she didn't know anyone who played for Ravenclaw or Slytherin, she came here for supporting both of them. Well, actually more Ravenclaw.
She sat in Hufflepuff section, somewhere in the middle and started waiting. She really-really wanted to see this match!

Crowd Gathering Empty Re: Crowd Gathering

Post by Keith Nicholas Sun Nov 01, 2009 8:15 pm

Keith stepped nervously up to the microphone, fidgeting with the watch on his wrist. Of course, he had a headache now...and the damn watch was lighting up and spinning, flashing hundreds of different colors in the midday sun. Keith took it off in disgust and stuffed the thing in his pocket. Last thing he needed now was distractions. His head cleared slightly, and he frowned. Weird, but he wasn't complaining.

The Hogwarts nurse, Astoria Malfoy, handed him the magical microphone. "This is a big responsibility." She said, peering down at him. "Are you ready for it?" ((OoC: Astoria is my other account, so that's not godmodding))

Keith nodded, his mouth dry. He wiped his sweaty hands on his jeans and took the microphone, feeling the cool metal against his feverish palm. He took a deep breath and spoke into it.

"Hello HOGWARTS!"

His voice boomed through the stadium, magically enhanced to epic proportions. He saw Mordecai down on the field, readying the balls, and took another deep breath. "This is Keith Nicholas, your new Quidditch commentator, and today is the kickoff of what promises to be an amazing season!"

It was getting easier now, his voice flowing smoothly from his brain and out his mouth. "Let me tell you, we've got a good match today! One one side, the blue and bronze of RAVENCLAW!" Cheers erupted from the crowd, mainly towards the Ravenclaw hoops, while boos emnated from the other end of the field, where the Slytherin's sat. "And on the other, the green and silver of SLYTHERIN!" More boos and cheers, though from opposite ends of the fields this time. Keith grinned, anticipation and adrenaline running through him. This was his moment.

"NOW WHO'S READY FOR SOME QUIDDITCH?!"

Louis walked over to the Gryffindor section and took a seat. He couldn't wait for when Gryffindor played. He wanted to get on that broom like nobodies business! He wanted to feel the bludgers hit his bat. He grinned slightly ready for the match to get underway.

Crowd Gathering Empty Re: Crowd Gathering

It was so simple even Sara understood it. Slytherin was the house her house didn't like, probably because they shared the dungeons. Same way footy clubs back home always hated those closest to 'em. She would be cheering for the Ravenclaws today.

This was the first time she'd had a chance to see the broom game played prop'ly. Like, apart from the people on her team practicing, that is. So she climbed up all the steps into the big Hufflepuff grandstand and it wasn't difficult to get a seat right at the front. Not so much like footy, then. Even if it weren't your team playing, you'd still watch the game to make sure their rivals lost.

"NOW, WHO'S READY FOR SOME QUIDDITCH?" the announcer called into the... thingy.

Sara stood up, leaned on the railing of the stand and screamed across the pitch till she ran out of breath.

"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Elv walked into the Gryffindor seats. She is ready for cheering both groups since Christy is Ravenclaw and Selwyn in Slytherin. But she is excited to be on game too. Can't wait for the next game, Gryffindor will play!! She saw Aden and Louis there in a different seats. "Hey there, Aden. Yo, Lou..." she greeted them.

Post by Belle Fey Potter Mon Nov 02, 2009 7:56 pm

Belle hurried into the Ravenclaw section of the stands, eager to see her house kick some Slytherin butt. Nothing personal against her close friend Amina Lestrange, it was just the excitement of the game.

Her hair was for once left completely down and blew gently in the soft breeze that was rising. She hugged her black leather trench-coat tighter, thankful that it fell all the way to the ground around her. She kept an eye out for anyone she knew and wondered if Andrian would be in the stands, or waiting for injured players.

Bane stepped out into the Gryffindor section of fans. He scanned the stadium with his eyes and smiled. He felt at home once more. He turned and saw his fellow Gryffindors already enjoying themselves. "Hello all," he said with a weak smile. "Good day for Quidditch."

Elv laughed. "Yeah... Next match will be our turn!!" she said enthusiastically. Elv really loves quidditch and has been waiting to play since the first time she knew that she is on team now. "Of course... Today is a perfect day for quidditch, Bane..." she answered Bane who's just came into Gryffindor seats section.
