And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Murder in London (Darren) Empty Murder in London (Darren)

Post by Jack Uhler Sat Oct 24, 2009 1:03 am

Zack Emof walked down a empty street it had been a long day at work and now all he wanted to do was go home for a little bit before he had to go back to Hogwarts. As he reached into his pocket to get his wand he realized it wasn't there he sighed "well great how can this day get any worse" he thought out loud.

(Zack has wand less magic so hes not defenseless.)

Darren was waiting outside the main entrance to the ministry of magic, leaning against a wall of some building. He was wearing muggle clothes, to blend in. He watched as wizards exited the ministry of magic then walked away. He was on a mission for the Death Eaters, to assasinate a ministry official. Still, Darren wasn't a person who just killed people randomly, he was only doing this mission because he wanted to kill one particular ministry person. As he was thinking about that, he saw Zack Emof suddenly appear muttering something to himself. Darren smiled and took out his wand - this would be easy, the fool didn't even have his wand with him from the looks of things. Stupefy, he thought.

Darren frowned as he saw his spell blocked. He suddenly realized that emof could do wandless magic. Not good, he hadn't intended on dueling with him, he was never good in open area duels. Nevertheless, Darren hadn't lost a duel yet and that gave him confidence. He decided to go easy on this guy for a while. "Expelliarmus," he said, calmly, while looking for things around him to use against Zack.

Darren had used the spell as a test to see how good Zack was. Judging by the difficulty in which he had blocked it, he obviously wasn't on the same level as Darren. "Well well Mr.Emof, your son is a better dueler than you.." he said with a sneer as he blocked the stunning spell. "Crucio!" he casted.

"Impedimenta" Darren said calmly, stopping the birds midair. With another flick of his wand, he vanished them. "Sectusempra!" he casted. He was still going easy on Zack, as he was still thinking of a good way to end the duel.

Darren sighed, he was tired of this. It was time to end it now. Pointing his wand over Zack, he aimed it at the fountain behind him, where there was a statue of a man. "Piertotum locomoter," he casted, making the statue come to life and do his bidding. Commanding it to attack Zack, he then conjured several knives. "Oppugno" he casted, sending them flying towards Zack.
