Personality: Kya is rather quiet around people she doesn't really know, since she prefers to observe them first and see which are their personalities and how compatible they are with hers, so she's very selective of her friends, but they usually last a lifetime. Loyal, tolerant, and determined, but not necessarily honest if the situation requires it; will do a bit of rule bending if necessary. Ironic and rather sarcastic. She's a bright girl and could have better grades in school, but she's a bit lazy as well, and is comfortable with acceptable grades. She doesn't like others telling her what to do. At her best she's an easy-going, kind, loving person that takes family and friends very seriously.

Family Information: Her mother is a pureblood witch and her father a half-blood wizard. She has an older brother, Xander (21), beginning his career as an Auror in the Ministry, and a twin brother, Tom, though she was born before he was. They haven't seen their maternal grandparents in a while because they disapproved of their daughter marrying a half-blood, even though the Sages were pureblood until their grandfather married a Muggle.
Background: The Sages are not rich like the old pureblood families, but they're moderately well-off so they never missed out on much. They have stayed neutral since the war began, even though they were approached by the Order of the Phoenix once. Kya has a good relationship with her family, and especially with her brothers, since their parents were busy with work when they were young, and usually left them alone to wreak havoc along with their house elf, Pepper. It's Kya's ambition to work in the Department of Mysteries once she graduates from Hogwarts, due to her love for solving mysteries and puzzles. She has a grey cat named Sepher.
Short Roleplay:Kya stepped out of the Great Hall on the lookout for Tom. He'd said he had news from Xander that she should know, and that he would meet her in front of the Grand staircase, but so far she hadn't seen a single hair of him.
She wandered over to the staircase and sat down on the first step with her bag next to her, sighing as she did so.
'Knowing him, he's probably going to tackle me from behind, or creep up behind me and scare the living daylights out of me,' she thought as she rolled her eyes, and waited for Tom's grand entrance.
