Getting to know you;; Closed;; Zoe and Mariana

Davina was in the Trophy Room, yet again. She was surrounded by millions of cabinated, but only one of them interested her in the slightest. It was the one with her parents on it. Their Quidditch trophy. She still couldn't believe that they had never told her about this. She couldn't. She didn't like the fact that they had kept something, which was clearly a very important part of their lives, from her. She sighed.

Davina wondered in and out of the cabinates, trying to distract herself. It was a good place to think, this room. It was quieter than the Library and the Study Room, what with the exams coming up they were almost packed full. She went and sat down on a small stool next to one of the cabinates. She peered into it, not really taking in any of the names on the trophys.

Walking around, Zoe didn't have plans of really going anywhere. She just let her feet take her where they would. Sometimes this was good and other times it got her into a ton of trouble. Here is to hoping that it wouldn't get her into to much trouble this time.

Soon Zoe found herself close by the trophy room. She hadn't been there is so long. Zoe honestly couldn't remember when she was here last time. Of course she couldn't remember why she hadn't come by in so long. Just so much going on.

Walking inside she saw someone she hadn't seen in a while either. Davina. Zoe wondered where she had been or had Zoe been that preoccuiped that she hadn't noticed the other girl. Keeping as queit as she could, Zoe walked in. She really didn't want to scare or startale her.

Davina was sitting, staring aimlessly at various trophys when she heard someone come in. Her automatic reaction was to stand up and try and see who it was, but she couldn't see around the cabinates. She tried, almost destroying her neck in the process.

Davina got up and walked towards the door so she could see. Ah. Zoe. She hadn't actually spoken to the girl much before. She remembered she was with her in the library once, and of course, they had many classes together.

Davina debated whether to go and speak to her or to ignore her. As she was thinking, her parents' word's flashed inside her head 'Davina, do try to be more social this year...everyone can't be horrible...you need some friends.'; the list could go on and on. She took a deep breath, and approached Zoe. "Hi," she said. One word. She had at least tried.

Zoe glanced around the room for a moment. Just to see if anyone else was in the room and also to see if they had changed anything.But it was the same room as always. Nothing different about it.

"Hey Davina. How are you?" Zoe asked hoping to see if they could strike up a conversation with her. She didn't know the girl that well, so all their previous conversations never lasted that long.

"Do you mind if I join you for a while?" Zoe decided to ask. She didn't want to intrude on her.

Davina looked back up at Zoe. She had been staring at the cabinate again. Typical her. "I'm alright, I guess. You?" she asked, the normal opening question. She wondered if this would actually turn into a proper conversation. "No, I don't mind, you can." she said, which was actually true.

Looking back at Davina, Zoe couldn't help but smile. At least she hadn't startled her. Which was a very good thing at least. She hated to scare people. Listening to Davina, she was alright. "Thats good at least. I've been better. But for the most part I am good." Taking a closer step, Zoe smiled. "Thank you." She looked around the room. What could Zoe say now that would keep the conversation going and not end here. "So. What brings you here?"

Davina nodded. "Well, that's alright, I guess." she said, not knowing how to reply to that. She watched Zoe taking slow steps. She was being very careful, Davina saw. "Well at first I was looking at a trophy over there." Davina started, pointing to a cabinate across the room. "It's got my parents on it, when they won the Quidditch cup a while back." she told Zoe. "I've just been thinking and working here though as the Library and Study Room are so busy and noisy around exam times." she finished, quite proud with the amount that she had managed to say.

Watching Davina as Zoë walked closer. At least she didn't run away. It seemed that lately, Zoe repealed everyone. It was a little annoying actually. But this made her happy. Maybe for once things were looking up.

Zoë looked in the direction that Davina was pointing. "I didn't know your parnets played Quidditch. Thats good." Walking toward the tropy so she could get a closer look. "Thats always something to be proud of." Looking back at the trophy. These were the only things that Zoë had of her parnets.

"I have noticecd that both the library and study room have all gotten rather busy. Even the common room is like that. Its hard to find a good quiet spot. I do a lot of my studying down by the lake." Zoë said was she contined to look at the trophies.

Mariana walked into the dark trophy room.She didn't know herself why did she come here.This place wasn't precisely the one she frequented very often.It was just a live reminder of detention actually. "It's a bit dark in here.Lumos!" she said successeding to find her wand and draw it from her pocket.

Davina chose to ignore the fact that Zoë was being so cautious around her. She didn't want to read too much into it. Plus, she didn't want to ruin any possible friendship between them.

"Yeah, I guess it is." Davina replied to Zoë, absent-mindedly, not wanting to bring up that her parents didn't even tell her about this themselves. She hadn't spoken to anyone about it, except James.

"I get too distracted by the Lake though, there are still quite a few people around as well as the wildlife." she told Zoe.

Davina turned around as she heard someone else enter the room and light their wand. "Hello?" she called out, wondering who was there. She couldn't see from where she was standing.
