Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Concerned Empty Concerned

Post by Mason Cuffe Fri May 19, 2023 7:15 am

Mason knew he had been ignoring lately his sister and girlfriend. Just he had so much to figure out to be honest. Ever since that last full moon he had been having issue with sleeping. He had done something he does regret. He had attacked this guy. Now he knew who. Alexander Greengrass. The guy who he did hate with passion for sure. The guy had done so much awful things towars his sister and girlfriend. But some how he ended up forgiving him.

All this confused the guy even more. So here he was just spacing out on this hallway. He was just trying to figure out how to tell about all of this to someone. He wasn't sure if he should even tell anyone. He knew her sister will feel something isn't right and for Maddie well she could tell probably something is off too. As Mason wasn't himself right now. He just needed to figure out what to do.

Also he was worried that Alex might tell about this to someone. So far seemed like the boy had kept it as secret. Maybe the guy really was afraid of him now.

Brynnley, a master of pushing the boundaries of the school's dress code, exuded an aura of boldness as she confidently strolled through the halls. Her attire spoke volumes, with a knee-length green leather skirt that dared to defy convention, accompanied by a cropped gray knit shirt and a black lace corset that added an element of edgy allure. Completing her ensemble were high-top boots that lent a touch of rebellious charm. Her cascading curls, flowing down her back, added an enchanting touch to her already captivating presence.

A mischievous smirk played upon Brynnley's lips as she spotted none other than Mason Cuffe, looking somewhat lost and bereft of his girlfriend. She approached him with a calculated stride, her confidence evident in every step. Drawing closer, she unleashed her charismatic charm, her voice laced with a playful purr.

"Well, hello there, handsome," Brynnley purred, her words dripping with flirtation. She studied his long face with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. It was clear something was amiss, and she intended to uncover the truth. Her magnetic presence enveloped Mason, leaving no doubt that she had his full attention. "What's up with the long face."
In that moment, the air crackled with anticipation, and Brynnley reveled in the tantalizing dance of intrigue that unfolded before her.

Mason was so lost in his own thoughts so he didn't notice Brynnley here right away. When he did he just sighed. He couldn't stand this girl at all. She was always trying to be so damn flirty with him and he didn't like it. As he never found this girl attractive at all.

"Hello?" he just ended up saying back to her. "And none of your business really. Why you can't understand I'm not interested in you at all," he said to the girl and crossed his arms here now. How to heck make this girl understand that there will be never nothing between them.

Brynn chuckled, dismissing Mason's comment with a playful wave of her hand as she crossed her arms. "Oh, come on now. Is it truly such a crime for a girl to seek a little excitement?" Her words were accompanied by a mischievous grin, a glint of amusement dancing in her eyes. She couldn't help but size Mason up, her gaze lingering on him from head to toe, a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Sad and grumpy, huh? Trouble in paradise, perhaps?" Her tone was laced with a teasing edge, her playful banter daring him to reveal any secrets he might be hiding.

Mason just at this girl. To be honest he didn't get this girl at all. Why the hell was he always trying to flirt with her. Mason never had it back to him, never before. She never found this girl attractive that way. "Sure, do what ever you want. I don't really care but don't blame me later when you get hurt. As I'm not interested in you," he said to the girl now. "And no, problems there. Just life itself. No need to know. It doesn't concern you," he added with a fake smile. To be honest he wondered why the hell he even replied back to her.

"I guess it's a good thing I'm not in search of anything serious," Brynn quipped, playfully rolling her eyes at Mason. This realm of her life was the only one that remained uncharted, free from the meticulous plans her parents had set for her. Here, she could flirt and exercise her powers of persuasion without their stifling disapproval.

"I'm just being friendly, you know," she continued, her tone light and casual. "Offering a sympathetic ear and all that." Her words carried a hint of mischief, hinting at the possibility of a deeper connection masked behind her seemingly carefree demeanor.

A faint smile tugged at the corners of Maddison's lips when she caught sight of Mason at the other end of the hallway. However, her heart sank as her eyes fell upon Brynn standing beside him. It seemed as though all the unpleasant thoughts that had plagued her mind were now validated. Her Mase, the one she had shared countless moments with, was engaged in a conversation with Brynn, who possessed an alluring smile, flawless skin, and flowing dark hair—someone undeniably beautiful in a way Maddison could never be. The sight struck her like a knife to the heart, unraveling the past few weeks as if they were nothing but a cruel game. Had Mason merely been toying with her?

Suppressing the welling tears, Maddison raised her head high, determined not to let him see how deeply this revelation had wounded her. It felt as if he had achieved his desired outcome, elevating their playful banter to a whole new level. Yet, the facade she had meticulously crafted threatened to crumble, and she could feel the tears teetering on the edge, waiting for the moment she was out of earshot.

Summoning every ounce of strength, she strode down the hallway, walking past Mason and Brynn with an air of stoicism. Amidst their conversation, she caught snippets of Brynn's words, each one further plunging Maddie into the depths of a despairing abyss in her mind.

Nevertheless, she refused to let her emotions consume her. She couldn't afford to show him how profoundly this revelation had affected her. With every step away from them, the tears threatened to spill from her eyes, begging for release. But she pressed on, determined to maintain her composure until she found solace in a safe space, where she could confront her emotions and mend the fragments of her broken heart.

Mason just should have walked away and not really talked to this girl. She was bad new for sure. Mason never got this girl at all. How can't you see that someone isn't interested in you at all but you still keep trying so hard. "I'm not intersted even in flings, just stop trying. I do have already girlfriend who I love. And I don't need someoen to cheat on her," he said to the girl. So maybe now she gets the hint.

"You aren't friendly at all to be honest. You try act like one, so you would get what you want. But it's not working on me," he said to the Brynn and just wanted this girl to go away. "Oh and my problems aren't for you. They don't concern you at all. Their mine to figrue out," he said to him and this is when she saw Maddie. "Oh, hey Mads," she said with a smile to the girl. For once this smile was real and not pretended.

"I'm so glad your here. Maybe now she finally gets hint, I'm not intersted in her. She still keeps trying. I don't get what is her deal. I have never been interested in Brynn, never," he said to Maddie and did kiss the girl on the cheek. He could have gone to the lips but he could tell Maddie was upset about something. He had known her already fro awhile and she did pick up her moods slowly already.

Brynnley seethed with irritation at the way Mason addressed her. His choice of words, especially "no," which happened to be her least favorite word, only added fuel to her frustration. But as she watched Maddison walk by, trying to conceal her obvious distress, a mischievous smirk formed on Brynnley's face. It was a perfect opportunity. And just like that, Mason vanished from the scene. In a swift motion, Brynnley spun on her heel and strode in the opposite direction, her excitement building for the inevitable confrontation that awaited them.

Maddison struggled to conjure a smile in response to Mason's greeting, blinking back the tears that threatened to escape her eyes. She didn't want him to witness her vulnerability. "Hey," her voice came out soft and quivering, as doubts filled her mind upon seeing Mason with Brynnley. Despite his words, a small voice in the back of her head incessantly whispered that he didn't truly mean them. She wanted desperately to believe him, but the lingering suspicion persisted, tainting her thoughts as she tried to brush them aside.

Mason didn't say anything back to Brynn this time and just watched her leave them now. To be honest he never liked her. Never been attracted to her. It's all in her head only. He knew Maddie might not believe it. He looked at Mads and just hugged her. He wasn't sure what to do here at this moment really.

He didn't get all of it. "I'm really honest. I have never liked her that way. I never found her attractive. He is very opposite what I want in girl," he tried to assure here. Maddie was one he wanted and he wasn't sure how to make her understand it.
