Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Reading.

Not that Lee had a certain prejudice against books or anything, but why would she spend endless hours looking at dead trees when she could fire up her laptop or go outside and look at real trees? Truth be told, Riley used to be such a reader, but all hell came down when she first sighted Natural Geographic and all the world had to offer. Like laptops and binge watching The Vampire Diaries? Obviously Hogwarts didn't appreciate the art of laptops because they - nor any technology for that matter - worked. It was depressing that the only entertainment they had to offer were a bunch of dead trees with pretty covers.

But Riley found herself slumped in the miserable place. She stalked around until she found a comfortable place and picked up a book and started to stare...she as stuck on one page for sevrel minutes, trying to understand something, and it must've been really weird, seeing a random twelve year old stare at a single page for a really long time. Unfortunately that was Riley. She also had a distant thought, thinking about whether or not she should contact the head of her house on a proposal to fill the library with laptops.
