Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

under the light of the full moon Empty under the light of the full moon

Post by Alexander Greengrass Sat Apr 29, 2023 9:09 pm

Alexander couldn't bear to be in the common room any longer. The other students continued to gossip and make jokes about what had happened in the Great Hall, even a month later. It was all too much for him to handle. So, in the dead of night, he snuck out of the castle and made his way down to the forest by the light of the moon.

As he wandered deeper into the woods, Alexander found solace in the peaceful surroundings. The trees towered over him, casting long shadows that danced in the moonlight. He followed the winding paths created by the forest's inhabitants, enjoying the quiet and solitude.

Unaware of the impending danger, Alexander continued on his walk, lost in his own thoughts. Little did he know, tonight happened to be the night of the full moon, and the forest held secrets that even he couldn't have imagined.

It was one of those full moons when Mason was lurking around the forbidden forest. To be honest he had been to late to get away from the castle. He was so caught up in this whole drama series for sure. He even had almost forgotten about the full moon being here.

The boy was roaming around in his wolf form and when he saw this one boy walking here he ended up hunting this boy down. He slowly approached him and ened up biting him. He almost killed him but something made him not do it. He soon enough ran away and left the boy there.

Mason will learn the next day what happened to the boy and who he was. As in wolf form he barely had his mind there with him.

As Alex made his way through the forbidden forest, an uneasy feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. He couldn't shake the sensation that he was being followed, and every snap of a twig or rustle of leaves sent a jolt of fear through him.
Despite his rising panic, Alex tried to remain composed, keeping his footsteps steady and his breathing even. He knew that any sign of weakness would only embolden whatever was stalking him.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of tense silence, Alex saw the edge of the forest in the distance. He quickened his pace, heart hammering in his chest, relief almost palpable.
But just as he thought he was in the clear, a fierce growl shattered the stillness of the forest. Before he had a chance to react, a massive werewolf leapt from the shadows, fangs bared and eyes blazing with hunger.
Alex tried to dodge the creature's attack, but it was too quick for him. Its jaws closed around his arm, crushing bone and tearing flesh. Alex screamed in agony as he felt the werewolf's hot breath on his face, its eyes boring into his with a deadly intensity.
Desperately, he struggled to break free, to fight back, but it was no use. The werewolf was too strong, too ferocious, and Alex was no match for its primal power.
As darkness closed in around him, Alex knew that he was done for. He had wandered into the forbidden forest alone, and now he was paying the ultimate price for his recklessness.

Post by Riyann Elling Sun Apr 30, 2023 1:42 pm

Riyann, a Hogwarts professor, often found herself wandering the halls after curfew hours. It was one of her duties to keep an eye on the students and ensure their safety. As she stepped outside for a breath of fresh air, she heard a blood-curdling cry coming from the nearby forest. Her senses sharpened as she scanned the trees, and the full moon's eerie glow caught her attention. She knew all too well the dangers that lurked in the woods during this time of the month.

Her heart racing, Riyann dashed towards the forest, her wand at the ready. Casting a lumos spell to light her way, she plunged into the dense foliage. She hadn't gone far before she came upon a ghastly sight. A student was lying on the ground, his arm gushing blood. Though he was still alive, Riyann knew time was of the essence.

Quickly, she summoned some powdered silver and ditany, mixing them to create a paste to cover the wounds. Her hands shook with urgency as she applied the concoction to the boy's arm, her eyes darting around for any sign of the werewolf that had caused the injury.

Once she had sealed the wound, Riyann used levicorpus to lift the boy's body and transport him back to the castle's hospital wing. As she ran, she couldn't shake the fear that the werewolf could still be lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce.

Once Riyann had delivered the injured student to the hospital wing and ensured he was in the care of the medical staff, she took a moment to catch her breath. Her heart was still pounding with adrenaline, and she knew she needed to report the incident to the Headmaster. But for now, she allowed herself a moment to simply be grateful that she had been there to help.
