Books, boredom and exploring

Ally was all done with her homework for the time being, so she decided to hit the Library for some books to read. Ally's parents always thought it was a waste of time, but her and Alexander loved it. Although she wasn't sure if Alexander read anymore or not, they're not as close as they used to be when they were young. Ally knew that she disappointed her brother when she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Although their relationship faded once he was accepted into Hogwarts though, and once she was sorted into Ravenclaw, it became worse.

In her own little world, Ally headed towards the back of the library to see if there was anything fascinating back here. Alot of people say all the cool things about Potions and spells were in the back. Although she didn't know if that was true or not, she wanted to find out. Walking towards the back, her eyes scanned the area before going towards the potions section.

"Whoa they're right, there's some pretty cool books back here!"said Ally softly to herself. " Who would of known all the advance books were back here?"Ally asked herself smirking. Taking a book down she flicked through the pages. "Really how is the Poly - juice potion considered advance?"Ally muttered to herself

Hayden had fallen behind on his schoolwork due to his father keeping him at home for a significant portion of the academic year. Eager to catch up, he had taken refuge in the library, scouring the shelves for the books he needed. As he turned the corner in search of a potions textbook, he overheard a girl murmuring to herself.

"Probably because if it's done wrong, you could end up in a half-human state, like an animagus," he muttered under his breath.

Hayden shrugged nonchalantly, walking past the girl down the row of shelves as he scanned for the book he required. Despite his focus on his task, he couldn't help but wonder what she was talking about. However, he didn't feel inclined to inquire, knowing that Hogwarts was full of peculiarities and secrets he had yet to discover.
