have you ever seen....

Maddie Kane, a sixth-year Hufflepuff, was feeling a bit silly today. She had spent the morning making jokes with her friends and couldn't stop giggling. Despite her goofy mood, Maddie knew that she still needed to study for her upcoming exams.

As she wandered through the halls of Hogwarts, Maddie saw an empty classroom and decided to check it out. She ran into the room, twirling around and singing to herself, "I'm in a classroom, and it's empty!"

As she looked around the room, Maddie spotted a giant chalkboard and decided to have a bit of fun. She picked up a piece of chalk and began to draw a silly picture of a cat wearing a top hat. Maddie giggled to herself as she drew, thinking that she was quite the artist.

When she finished her drawing, Maddie settled into one of the desks and opened her textbook. Despite her silly mood, Maddie was determined to study hard and do well on her exams.

As she read through the material, Maddie found it hard to concentrate. She kept thinking about her funny drawing and couldn't stop giggling to herself. Maddie knew that she needed to refocus if she wanted to do well on her exams, so she took a few deep breaths and tried to calm herself down.

Michelle was just wandering around the castle and was trying to find her friends. They all had been doing something. She wasn't sure where they ahd went. She had taken a small nap after her classes were done for today. She just felt like she needed it.

Suddenly when she passed by this on classroom she heard the giggling. She was like what is going on. The girl decided to check it out. This is when she opened the door to empty classroom and saw Maddie there. The girl who she gets along just fine, even if she knows she and her brother always seem to be on their throats. She never understood what is going on between them, she knows they can get along too.

"Oh, hey Maddie. You know your giggling can be heard out of the room too?" she asked. She just wanted to make her sure she knew. "Also what is so funny?" she asked and this is the moment when she looked up the board finally. She ended up laughing. "That's hilarious," she pointed to board. "Good drawing," she added.

"Hey, Michelle!" Maddie was excited to see her friend again. "Oh my, was i really being that loud?" studying at this time seemed like a fruitless effort. It took being in the right mind set to get anything done let alone retain the information, and her mind was not there today. Infact she'd rather do something fun. "ha, thanks," she giggled when Michelle complimented her drawing. "I had wandered in here intending to study for potions, but I cannot focus. What have you been up to?" she asked propping her chin in her hand with her elbow on the table in front of her. "Anything new since yesterday?"

Michelle smiled at her friend. "yeah you were quite loud," she said with a smile. She was just trying to protect the girl her own way. "Oh, Potions. Well yeah sometimes it's very hard to focus yesm" she said with a smile. "Nothing new really, just trying to find something to do. I just woke up from a nap. So I have so much energy now," she said. She wondered maybe they could do something together.

Maddie winced inwardly as she realized how loud she had been. She hoped she hadn't disturbed anyone nearby.

"I completely agree," she nodded in response to Froggy's comment. "Potions can be so technical, and one small mistake can completely ruin the whole thing. I only manage to get it right about half the time, to be honest," she admitted with a wry grin. Maddie had experienced her fair share of potion mishaps and knew just how disastrous they could be. Once, she had even ended up with green hair for a week after a particularly catastrophic failure.

"I can't bear to look at this stuff anymore." Maddie was always up for a bit of adventure.

Michelle smiled. To be honest she has had her share of accidents in Potions class to. She has messed some of them up too for sure, if she isn't paying too much attention. She can be at times too easily distracted.

"Oh yes. It can. Even if you had some things even one drop more. Disaster," she said with a sigh. She had once counted wrong and well the next moment she was all covered in this weird blueish dust. She still don't get how.

"Well we can do something together? Morr fun than potions or try something new with it. Our own creation?" She was up from something fun.

It sounded like Michelle had a plan, Maddie liked plans, they were exciting. “What did you have in mind?” Mads put on her thinking cap looking for ideas of things that they could create. “What if we went down to the potions room? We could practice making a truth serum, and sneak it into Masons' food sometime. See if he says anything we could use against him.” Maddie always had fun bickering with Michelle’s brother, “Or, we could feed the squid, or I heard there is a room where the ghost meet-up. We could go find that.”

Michelle was up for fun for sure yes. Adventures were always fun. The girl loved it. "Truth serum for Mason?" She asked. The curious indeed. Something was off here. Secrets about Mason. Michelle knew some but how true they were she wasn't sure yet. For someone who keeps claiming they hate each other, they for sure talk a lot about each other when the other isn't around. She thought about her other options. "Ghost meeting room, sounds like fun adventure. I have heard those rumours too. Let's do that," she said and was excited about the idea.

"Okay," Maddie bounce up out of the chair and over to her friend. Holding her arm out to Michelle so they could link arms. "Ghosties it is. I wouldn't even mind if it was Peeves this time." the poltergeists was always wondering around the castle causing trouble himself. He was also a tattle-tell and would run to the teachers when he found students sneaking around where they shouldn't be. "I heard its down near the kitchens. Lets go!"

Michelle smiled at her friend and loved how excited the girl just got. She was okay linking the arms together. "Oh yes let's go check it out then," she agreed and soon enough she was heading that way now. She was hoping this will be all worth it. Even if they run into Peeves, Michelle is sure she can figure something out to get them out of big trouble.
