Rain...rain... go away Empty Rain...rain... go away

Post by Kace Lecium Sat Jun 29, 2019 4:01 pm

The hell with all this bloody homework they had to do lately if he had it his way he'll burn them, every single bit of them. He didn't get why seventh years had so much bloody homework, shouldn't they have less to focus on NEWTS? But here Kace was doing homework as usual, he hated doing homework it was boring as hell, he couldn't see himself working at a desk job or something he'll go out of his mind. Luckily for him, he was done with this horrible and ungodly homework he had. It wasn't that Kace hated being at Hogwarts learning magic, he just hated the homework behind it.

drip...drip...
The rain was hitting the roof of the as itl the sudden it started picking up, Kace sighed to himself. He wanted to go outside with Christy, it was such a nice day he wanted to spend it with her outside but now it's raining. Oh...well, he suppose watching some movies and cuddling wouldn't be a bad idea, maybe in the room of requirements or so.

The rain kept on coming down, he sighed to himself yawning, he was tired and this rain wasn't helping. He looked outside, he really wanted to go outside but he got stuck doing homework now it's pouring outside. Damn him having to do homework, but he wa wants good grades to be a Auror so the price he pays right? Sometimes he wondered...

The rain had cancelled her plans for the day. Sure, it was fine to hold Quidditch practice in the rain, but you couldn’t hold it seeing lightening out in the sky. It just made things far to dangerous. Christy had tried when the rain had first started, but now as it started to come down heavier, she found herself running back inside, heading towards the library where she might actually get some studying done. ‘So much for a nice sunny day.’ She thought to herself walking into the library looking rather like a drowned rat, curls sticking to her face from being outside.

She went straight to the shelves to grab the books she needed for her assignment. She hadn’t even noticed Kace as she walked past the window, pausing briefly to watch the rainstorm she had just been caught in. ‘Maybe this is a good thing.’ She told herself as she went to go find a table, ‘You know this stuff has to get done anyway. At least now you have a bit of a head start on it.’ The dripping water from her clothes brought her back to attention and she quickly dried herself as best she could before someone complained. Better to not make anyone mad at the beginning of the year in her mind.

Shaking it off she went and sat at a table that was back behind a few shelves, unnoticed by anyone who might come in and easily distraction free. Well, at least for the most part. She looked up from her work, a bit distracted in her own mind when she saw Kace. Of course, he would be here this morning. He had just as much, if not more homework than she had. “Kace?” she called out to him softly so to try not to disturb anyone else that would be in the library.

Kace was snapped back into reality hearing someone around him getting some books from the shelves around him, seeing a familiar blonde with curls,  well... wet curls he chuckled to himself.  So caught up in her own mind like he was she clearly didn't even see him which made him chuckle even more, this was going to be a easy tease.  It was so easy and fun to tease her, but half the time she gave him alot of reasons to do so. Kace loved to tease her, but it was in a cute playful way that he did it,  it wasn't mean by any means.  He loved her too much to ever be mean or cold to her,  to over hes but to her he tried not to be an ass but sometimes he was but hey he was only human.

Seeing her notice him at last, he smirked at her shaking his head.  "Oh... now you notice me,  what was I before  invisible love?" he asked her softly chuckling.   "By the way I loved the skin rat look, maybe you should get wet more often!"  Smirking at her as he said that,  he knew that he was probably going to hit by saying it, but it was true she looked hot.  Nothing wrong with alittle honesty was there?  No? Nope... he didn't think so.

"So... got soaked at practice huh? I hope you don't get sick it looks bad out there."he said softly looking her over.  "What are you working on? Maybe we can do it together if I don't fall asleep,  this rain ins making me sleepy. "  Yawning as he said that he shook himself awake.   "I don't see how Soph is Head Girl and Chaser and she's on top of her homework, oh...that's right she's a Granger." he said grumbling to himself.

Rain...rain... go away Empty Re: Rain...rain... go away

Post by Christabelle Whittle Sun Jun 30, 2019 6:12 pm

It was hard to get her attention when she went into her own head like she had. They hadn’t even called for rain today, so she was trying to figure out why it just came down out of no where like it had. She had been so busy since the start of term, that she had barely seen Kace since the start of term feast. Well outside of classes anyway. They shared a few classes together, but her path was different from his. She was sure they only had two classes together for the most part. Plus, she was captain of the Ravenclaw team as well as doing student aide this year for divination so her schedule was pretty full. Plus, she had her cousin attending this year and was trying to make time to spend with him as well. Godric was more like a brother to her than a cousin so she knew she had to make time for him.

She found herself stumbling over her words when Kace replied to her. “S…sorry.” She said looking at him sheepishly. “Y..you aren’t invisible. I..I just.” She knew it was no point, he was going to tease her either way about not noticing him. She was getting used to it. Before they had gotten together over the summer he had spent the previous school year giving her a hard time about the littlest things.

Hearing his comment about her being drenched, she took her wand out, drying herself off blushing. She shook it off and responded to him, “You mean we actually got any practice in?” she asked him. “As soon as we got to the pitch the sky opened wide.” She glared at him as he told her he hoped she didn’t get sick.

“Don’t you dare put that out there for it to happen.” She said to him, “You’re probably hoping I do so you don’t have any competition at the next match. I bet you would love for me to fall ill just before Gryffindor and Ravenclaw play.” That was what they did. Especially when it came to Quidditch. She had learned last year that they were both extremely competitive when it came to that.

“I think you’d fall asleep.’ She told him truthfully. “It’s mostly teacher aide things for Divination. I can do it later if you’d rather get out of the library. Less of a risk of falling asleep for you.” She sighed, “I think if it wasn’t for the fact I’m staying in the Head Girl dorm with her we would never see each other.” She told him truthfully, “Oh and what about me? Or do you still maintain I’m a freak of nature Kace?” It was true. She didn’t even know how she found time to sleep most days. Between everything that she had on her plate. And the fact she still had to hold try outs for new Quidditch players she wondered when she was going to find time for that as well.

"Woah... hey,  relax I was just teasing you as always you should know that love. " Although it was so easy to tease her and he loved doing it, he was going to enjoy her company.  Things were crazy for them lately having different schedules and stuff lately,  they barely seen each other outside of classes. He hated that they were in separate houses, although they did spend as much time together as possible and snuck into the room of requirements when they could.  He knew life was probably going to be even more crazy once he becomes a Auror.

"Weird cause it looked so nice outside,  I was going to find you and see if you wanted to go walking around the lake or so, but it started raining buckets."  He loved the rain,  but sometimes a nice sunny day was nice to enjoy the sunshine and get out  of the castle.  "I'm sorry you didn't get to practice love, I mean it I really do that sucks."  Closing his book his eye blue eyes looked at her confused as she glared at him.

Kace lifted his eyebrows at her, did she really think he was hoping that.  Kace rolled his eyes.  "Oh... yeah let me tell you,  I want my girlfriend and the girl I love to be sick,  let me tell you I'm such an asshole and a douche."  Glaring back at her his sky blue eyes full of anger and hurt.  "Actually I said that because I care, not because I want you to get sick cause Gryffindor will win!"  Rolling his eyes he went back to doing his homework.

"Divinations not one of my better trademarks, glad I don't take it anymore."   He shrugged.  "I think I'm going to fall asleep anyways,  been a long day for me." he said not looking up from his work.  "Take it as you like Christy."  Doing his Charms essay he sighed to himself bored out of his freaking mind to be honest.

He always found ways to get under her skin. He had since she had started there last year. At first it had started with harmless teasing about how she constantly had her head in a book, or how it was amusing if she didn’t quite understand a phrase someone had said. Christy had to quickly overcome the language barrier that she had. At first she had honestly thought he didn’t like her until Sophia had told her otherwise and had told her that was just the way Kace was. By Christmas break they were already passively flirting with each other, but it wasn’t until the end of the school year that they had actually started to date, which proved to be a bit harder for them not being around to see each other every day.

“It was really nice, especially this morning.” She said quietly, furrowing her brow and pouting about it. She had actually been looking forward to flying around the pitch. It was one of the few times that she used to clear her head of everything that was going on. Quidditch was kind of a pressure release for her when it came to everything going on at school.

As quickly as she had made the comments to him, she became very perplexed about the anger he showed. She looked confused as to why he was angry when she had just been trying to make a joke. ‘Way to go Christy. You made him mad.’ She thought to herself taking a step back.

“I…I’m sorry. I…I wasn’t trying to start a fight with you.” She said moving back towards her little table. “I..I was just trying to make a joke.”

She actually looked like she was about to break down and cry. Poor, sweet, innocent little Christy wasn’t quite sure what she had done wrong to make him mad at her. “I..I’ll let you do your homework.”

Rain...rain... go away Empty Re: Rain...rain... go away

Post by Kace Lecium Mon Jul 01, 2019 6:59 am

Kace expression softened as he looked up like she was about to cry,  he hated seeing her cry especially cause of him.  Sighing to himself,  he gotten up wrapped his arms around her pulling her close to him.  "You gotta understand why I got so angry, I don't care about the cup or you beating me at a silly game,  I care about you and love you I don't want to see you sick or hurt."  He said softly brushing some hair out of her eyes.   "When you said that,  it was like you thought I didn't care about you and just cared about winning,  that isn't true I love you more then any gold or money can ever buy me."  Caressing her cheeks as he said that he kissed her softly but sweetly.

"I'm sorry love,  just don't ever think in that beautiful head of yours that I don't ever care about you and love you, cause it's all lies I'm crazy about you."  He wasn't lying about that,  he loved her from the moment he laid eyes on her,  what started as harmless teasing lead to alot of flirting to now where they were dating. What was odd Kace wasn't the one to fall in love or anything like that,  he wasn't really a believer in that type of thing,  of course he dated before he met Christy but as for loving them he never really didn't.  It wasn't until he met Christy that he started opening up more and learning what feelings were and love as well as letting someone in besides Soph. What was worse it all happened so quickly he didn't know how she gotten under his skin, no other girls were able to make him feel like this,  but he wasn't objecting he loved her to pieces.

Kace thought he was going to be those guys that never married or had kids cause they didn't believe in love or anything.   Boy he was sure wrong after he met Christy,  he doesn't know if she is the one he's destined to be with or not, let alone have kids with but all he knew he was living for today and whatever the future holds he'll be ready.   All he knew right now,  was that he wanted to ditch his homework and have fun with his beautiful and gorgeous girlfriend that was in his arms.  "What do you want to do? Obviously the rain isn't going to clear up anytime soon, and I'm almost done with all my homework. "He was honestly glad about that, but he wanted to become a Auror,  so he had to keep his grades good and high.

Rain...rain... go away Empty Re: Rain...rain... go away

Post by Christabelle Whittle Mon Jul 01, 2019 7:27 am

Christy almost pulled herself away from him when he wrapped his arms around her, but for some reason stopped. She was so confused, and she didn’t like it one bit. She couldn’t help but look up at him with the most pitiful looking expression as he brushed some of her hair out of her eyes. “I..I was just trying to make a joke.” She repeated quietly. “I..I didn’t think you were going to take it seriously.”

She really hadn’t thought that Kace would have taken the comment as seriously as he had. Not after spending the past year teasing her over silly things. Her accent had started to come out slightly thicker, because she wasn’t able to try to cover it as much when she was upset like this. She knew it would really awkward having to explain why she looked like she did if her cousin had walked in and she honestly felt a little silly at getting this upset over him being mad at her. That wasn’t like her in the slightest.

She responded to his kiss with her lips softening against his, as he kissed her. She was still trying to figure out how to handle situations like this, because frankly, she rarely dated anyone so it was fairly new ground to her. When she was at Beauxbatons no one really ever interested her, and those who were interested in her was strictly due to her being a half-veela. She knew Kace was different. He didn’t care what she was. From what she had seen from him, he actually cared about who she was as a person. Her own father didn’t care about her in any way like that. It was always make sure you make the family proud and come home when you finish school so you can start learning about what we do in the family.

Sophia and Kace were the only ones who knew she didn’t plan on going back home once she graduated. Soph, well because she had spent most of her summer staying with her so she could stay here and Kace? Well Kace had figured out really quickly that the life her parents wanted for their perfect little princess wasn’t the life that she wanted for herself. In fact, he had even encouraged her to persue what she wanted. It was actually the driving factor in her taking the TA position when they were being offered. The only person in her family who’s opinion was going to matter to her in her remaining her once they graduated was Godric. At least in the family back home.

What did she want to do? She wasn’t even sure at this point. She knew she needed to get some of her homework done. She just really didn’t have the desire. She looked up at him, “Think we might be able to just hang out for a bit?” she asked him curiously wiping her eyes. “I still have homework I have to do because I was so caught up in getting other stuff finished on time.”

Rain...rain... go away Empty Re: Rain...rain... go away

Post by Kace Lecium Tue Jul 02, 2019 3:02 am

Kace was going to pull her back to him if she was going to try get away from hkm, he wasn't going to let her get away.  Kace didn't like being angry at her, but his comment really set him off for some reason,  probably cause he loved her so much.  He was always joking and teasing her, but this time he was serious with her.  Looking at her he frowned at her seeing her pitiful look,  he felt so bad for making her feel like that.  "You sounded serious, that's why it set me off love,  I'm sorry babe I didn't mean to make you upset." Kissing her forehead as she said that.

Kace usually could take her joking and teasing very well, but this one set him off.  He really didn't understand why he gotten so pissed off himself,  it confused it himself.  He felt silly and and bad that he gotten so pissed off at a joke,   he could take jokes and sarcastic comments and stuff and brush them like they were nothing. Cursing to himself in French to himself in French for making her so upset, he felt like the biggest scum on the earth.

Kace himself was trying to figure out all this dating out himself, of course he dated before Christy but they never lasted long.  Alot people think he slept around,  but honestly he haven't slept with anyone, but no one really believed him. Kace loved Christy and it wasn't because she was half veela,  but because she was beautiful inside and out.   She made him a better person, made him see that love could be a beautiful thing. This was all new to him,  being in a long relationship with someone and the whole letting someone in but Soph.

Kace was going to get a place in London or so after he graduated, he was going to get a apartment while he was in the midst of becoming a Auror until he could get his own place.   He wanted to ask to live with her, but he was afraid that it would be too soon, so he didn't.  Kace worked his ass off to get where he is now,  alot of hard work and determination to get here.  He wanted her to pursue her dreams and do what she wanted and loved to do, he was glad that she listened to him.

Kace wasn't sure what he wanted to do as well, one thing he knew he needed to do something quick or he'll fall asleep.   "Of course love. " Smiling at her he wiped her tears with his thumbs.    "Do you need help with anything? I'm done with all mine now." He didn't mind helping her, she helped him countless of times on his homework and stuff.

Rain...rain... go away Empty Re: Rain...rain... go away

Post by Christabelle Whittle Tue Jul 02, 2019 4:55 am

For a moment there seemed to be an awkward silence between them. The only sound, the steady pounding of the rain against the library windows to break the silence in the room. Normally, Christy loved hearing the sound, but she felt like she could hear the own beating of her heart in her ears. She never even realized that he had started talking. Her mind was going too fast to process it all and before she knew it she was speaking in German sounding even more upset about how she had just been trying to be sarcastic, and that she didn’t mean to make him mad.

Looking up at him, she couldn’t help but to let out a small giggle hearing him curse in French. She knew exactly what he had said, but she figured he hadn’t even thought about the fact she spoke French from all the years she had been in school there. This year, it was as if she had been in Hogwarts for all seven years. They treated her just as they had if she would have come in as a first year with them. It was nice. She was no longer the new girl that people looked at and inspected with a mild curiosity.

She started packing up her books. “N..no, I can work on them tonight.” She replied to him. “It’s not that much that I have to do anyway.” No, she would never ask Kace for help with her assignments. She always had her head stuck in a book or was busy with Quidditch. Really, she just wanted to feel normal for a day and not think about studies and the day that had been ruined by the rain.

She found herself looking out the window as the water continued to pound against it, the rhythm of it soothing, calming her down a bit from how upset she had just been. She knew it was going to come out sooner rather than later what she actually wanted to do, and better to tell Kace now than wait. He would either tell her it was a brilliant idea or if she was being a moron.

“So.” She started biting her lip, still not making eye contact with him. “I was thinking..”

Come on Christy, you can do this. she told herself. Perfect practice for when you bring it up to Godric when you see him walking around the school

“I was thinking about actually moving here, when we graduate. Well not here, here. Maybe London.”
