Help for Site Plot Wanted

Okay, so--we're needing some more support with site plot.

There's a new location for rp.  The Ministry has a hotel to house muggles in, and its located in Diagon Alley.  Of course, we will need a hotel manager, clerks, chefs, etc.  You can request one of those positions in the Misc. Jobs.  Please consider one of those posts because we'll be looking for ways for muggles and wizarding folks to interact.

We're also considering some wizard folks to provide training to muggles so they don't hurt themselves or others, hopefully, with their new and probably unpredictable skills.

Muggles are also welcome to apply for jobs in wizarding shops, and hopefully they'll find a few friendly faces that will welcome them.

There is a new department at the Ministry to help with the muggle issue, so you might find you have a wizarding character interested in working with that project.  

If you're interested in joining a research team that is likely to be a cooperative effort between St Mungos and the Ministry, to research exactly what has happened to the muggles and how to "fix" it, please post that here, and we'll get that put together too. 

More action is forthcoming between factions, etc., but we definitely need more muggle characters, even if on a temporary basis.  We'll also need faction members to be ready to go to faction meetings and start gearing up for some struggles there too.

sounds okay to me, Selwyn.  and i'm fine with Angelique participating in training, in whatever her style is, so long as its good with the other player, obviously.

We've been doing something that we've called "internships" for some time now that offers just that opportunity you're talking about. Its sort of gotten lost in the last year or so, but it definitely needs revisiting. We need to bring back the internships.

However, I've wanted, for the last couple of years wanted to change our terminology for that to be more appropriate for the magical world and call them "apprenticeships." It would be more appropriate for a student to be a wizard's apprentice rather than an intern, methinks.

Basically, how it worked was for Hogwarts students to be able to earn school credit by working for a shop or a business. The ministry would also apply here too, but we certainly couldn't have them working in dangerous areas, for obvious IC reasons.

I'm all for it. Hopefully whoever decides to head the new ministry department that will be dealing with this will take the students under wing and have them doing this sort of outreach with muggle students.
