Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It had been a long day in the office, and Jack was making her trek up to the lounge to find some caffeine for herself. As she bought herself a soda, she decided to get one for Max so she could have an excuse to annoy him. It was one of her favorite things to do, now that they were married. Breaking the norms of what a married couple was supposed to do (like, make each other's lives easier) kept the pressures of marriage from becoming real. It kept their friendship intact the more she reminded them both of their own silliness.

Her plan was to do the usual. Deliver him a soda, lie on the ground next to his desk, enchant his paperweights to fly circles around her head as she looked through paperwork she probably wasn't supposed to. It was nice, especially on the days when she knew she would not see him because of their full schedules. And she missed having someone to moderately irritate. She used to survive on it, and only Max seemed to be less irritating than she was. Gabby, Fred, Sunny - they were all far better at it then she was.

Sodas in hand, she made her way towards the muggle department. As she arrived on the floor, a frazzled secretary bumped into her. "Oh, Mrs Mor- Mrs Dy- Jack! Oh my gosh - could you pass this along to Max? I'm sorry, I have a thousand memos to pass out and I'm supposed to clock out before I move into overtime and I'm-"

Jack grinned, plucking the memo from the woman's hand. "I've got you covered, Tracey." The secretary melted a bit, mouthed a thank you, and ran off. Jack grinned and walked towards Max's cubicle, which seemed to be empty. She flopped into his chair and began to casually peruse the memo.

M.M.,

We have an issue that sort of falls under your jurisdiction. James Blood is targeting the Waldorf family - as you know, their incredibly powerful socially in the muggle world, and their daughter seems to be a conquest Blood especially wants to ensure he gets. Now, we could send out Aurors, but because this is muggle territory. The lines are a bit blurred. We need you there - now.

Jack blanched. It was signed by the Head of the Department himself. If this was Blood, there was no way anyone in the muggle department could handle it - no offense to the department, but their field training was minimal. Jack swallowed and stood, waving her wand. Her jacket appeared, and she pulled it on. Her newly purchased gun would help her in muggle territory. It would eliminate the worries of muggle interference and would ensure no memories needed modification. It would also ensure the werewolf would not be able to achieve his mission.

She dropped the memo and hurried out, having caught the address scrawled at the bottom of the memo. She knew it would be best if she just... took care of this. And that was what she intended to do.

Jack looked just like anyone else on the street. She strollwed casually, keeping a keen eye on the Waldork estate. She could see movement and suddenly, the heiress in question was coming out of the gates with her mother, the two chatting loudly. Jack angled her stroll towards them, moving her head constantly, looking for the danger she was certain to come. She could feel it in the atmosphere. Something wasn't right.

And that was when she saw him. The broad shoulders indicated werewolf, and he had a long trenchcoat pulled around him. What use in this weather? She tilted her chin and kept walking, making sure she had a clear shot at him if he started to do anything. A hand was thrust in his jacket and she picked up the speed. "Hey!" He looked up at her, met eyes.

Things were about to go south.
