Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Maybe things aren't as bad as they seem Empty Maybe things aren't as bad as they seem

Seth usually didn't like the cold, but he was bored out of his mind and there wasn't much to do in the castle.  But he wasn't going to sit here in the Hufflepuff Common room and do nothing all day, he had to do something.  Getting up from his chair that was by the fire, Seth walked up towards the boys' dorm and grabbed his coat, gloves and Hufflepuff scarf before heading out towards the Entrance Hall.

Pushing the Entrance Hall doors opened, the cold winter wind blew straight into his face making him shiver.  Getting out his wand putting the warming charm on him, he walked down the steps down the sloping snow lawns of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardly.  Seth really didn't know where he was going, his feet seemed to be leading him to the lake though.  "What the heck."Seth thought to himself heading towards the lake.  Dodging and ducking snowballs that were coming from every direction, Seth chuckled to himself before he kept walking towards the lake.  After a few mniutes, he finally reached the frozen lake to see people from first years to couples ice skating on the lake.

It looked like fun,  it was something Seth never really done,  of course he bulit a snowmen and stuff but he never ice skated.  He knew it sounded a bit lame, but he thought it was a bit girly for his taste.  That wasn't until he seen Maura and Ryo ice skating one day in Hogsmeade that made him realize it wasn't girly.  Of course he knew Ryo probably only did it because Maura wanted to, and he couldn't say no to Maura's puppy dog eyes. It was a curse, you couldn't say no to them no matter what you did.  Although Maura didn't mind whatever season it was, Seth wasn't a fan of winter time, he was more of Spring type of guy.

But Seth was slowly starting to like winter time alittle bit more, Maura showed him there was alot of fun things you could do during the winter time.  Changing his shoes into skates Seth slid out onto the frozen lake.  Trying to keep his balance he watched a couple of people ice skating on the lake.  "Oh... so it just like skating."Seth thought to himself.  "I think I get it now."said Seth softlt o himself as he started skating.  "I can see why Mars like doing this, it's quite fun."said Seth honestly to himself.

Ice skating around the lake, Seth started skating backwards on the lake passing couples who were sjating slowly.  "When Maura goes ice skating again, I'll go with her next time."said Seth to himself.   "Maybe winter time isn't as bad as I make it."said Seth himself.

It wasn't a bad day,  Maura practically been out all morning playing in the snow and just walking around.  She was about to be leaving this place due to it changing,  but she couldn't help not to explore the grounds one last time.  Besides,  it was the only thing that was the same around here.  Although she was sad to leave,  but she wasn't staying at a place that was changing.  It wasn't for the better either,  it was more for the worse then anything.

Besides Maura was going to leave Hogwarts anyways,  so now was the perfect time to do so.  At first she was sad to leave,  and deep down she still is,  but Hogwarts isn't the same as she remembered it.   It just wasn't magical or fun anymore,  it's like it was more like a chore then a place she loved going to.   But even with all the chaos,  Maura was still going to graduate from Hogwarts.  People and Professors were shocked that Maura had top marks,  although Maura didn't know why,  she always had top marks even before she gotten pregnant.

Sighing to herself,  Maura walked around the lake but stopped as she seen a familiar mess off brown chestnut hair like hers ice skating.  "Wow... Where's my camera for this? I never seen you ice skate, let alone be outside when it's cold!"sais Maura chuckling.   "See I told you that it's fun!"said Maura giving him a soft warm smile.   "I wish I could join you,  but as you can see I can't. "said Maura softly.  "Seems like your getting the hang of it,  can you do any tricks?"Maura asked him softly.

Seeing Seth give her that look,  Maura groaned and rolled her eyes at him.  "Ugh... I know what your going to say,  I should be inside resting but I was bored!"said Maura honestly.   "Would you be mad if I said I was out here all morning?"Maura asked him softly. Taking a seat on a stump, Maura breathe in and out as she took her water out of her bookbag and started drinking it.
