Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It had been years since Elijah had seen Sophia and while he had no reason to reach out to the witch who had been his ex-fiancée’s friend he now felt it was time. Sophia had been Chase’s friend. Throughout all of the angst and shenanigans she’d been Chase’s friend and Elijah had been Chase’s lover, fiancé, and enemy. He’d consistently been Sophia’s enemy: never good enough for the redhead they both loved. What he wanted now, more than ever, was to reach out to the witch and finally bury the hatchet that had been masquerading as the purple elephant in the middle of the room for years. It was time.

It had been a difficult letter to write but eventually he managed to ink the words onto the page and seal it before sending it off under the care of his owl. Whether she came or not, he could have a nice cup of coffee and a brioche in a simple, warm environment. He’d decided to shirk every single pretence he had for that meeting and had donned what he imagined befitted such humility. It was a jumper and a pair of jeans with some high tops - that was all he’d deigned to wear. He needed that simplicity. He hoped that perhaps it would communicate some form of peacemaking or, at the very least, seasonable merriment.

So, after a lot of bother trying to get a babysitter for the children, Elijah decided to take Alice with him and moved to Diagon Alley from the new house in Wales. After quite an interesting floo journey to the Leaky Cauldron he made his way up through the street and approached Sparks with notable resignation to what was sure to be a one-sided argument. Sophia had never particularly held him in much esteem and while he was sure she wouldn’t appreciate him having a baby with him - when it should’ve been Katherine and he still with Chase, happy - he had no choice in the matter; and he had to see her.

Entering the bistro, Elijah swallowed his fears and ordered a few things for himself and Alice. Then, once that was sorted he took a seat by the window and set about amusing his daughter with one of the picture books he’d brought with him until Sophia arrived - until all hell broke loose, of course.

Ugh.... why in the hell am I doing this?"Sophia thought to herself as she walked down the crowd street of Diagon Alley heading towards Sparks Bistro & Bakery.

She really didn't want to do this, but her consciousness was telling her it was the right thing to do. Gr... stupid damn consciousness why can't they leave you the bloody hell alone at times? They were so annoying at times!

Although Sophia was a bit shocked that Eli Krum wrote to her, she wondered what the bloody helll that prick wanted! Lets just say her and Eli didn't end on good terms, she downright hated that prick!

Letting her anger get the best of her, Sophia walked down the crowded streets of Diagon Alley before she reached Sparks. "God... been forever since I been in here!" Sophia thought to herself as her chocolate brown eyes wondered around for Eli.

Finding him by the window with a small child Sophia's anger slowly started melting away. Children were her soft spot, she could never be mean to a child. Walking towards Eli her eyes narrowed at him. Although it wasn't due to anger or disapproval, it was out of curiosity.

"Not that I'm flattered that you owled me Elijah, but why after all these years?"Sophia asked him softly. Taking a seat across from him, a waitress asked what she wanted before she ordered some tea and some cheesecake. Always one of favorites when she ate here.

Sophia’s voice was an unmistakable sound that blotted out the light hubbub in the cafe. Looking up from the book in his hands, Elijah managed to raise a smile to his lips at the sight of the young woman. He shifted a little to show he would’ve gotten up had it not been for the fact that his arms were full and he settled once more once Sophia had taken her seat opposite him. Elijah’s smile grew a little bit stronger on his face as he bounced Alice on his knee and he used that distraction to give him a moment to think of his reasoning: why did he ask her to tea with him, really?

“It was time, I suppose,” Elijah began hesitantly, his ever so slight accent thickening a little bit with childlike reservations as he moved his lips over the words. “I guess I’m trying to sort things out in my life. It’s not going brilliantly and I’m not trying to blame anyone. I just want to fix things. Would’ve started with Chase but I can’t.” Elijah swallowed back the sting of sadness. “And you always hated me so I suppose it is close enough. I would like to make amends, Sophia, if you’d let me.”

Elijah paused as the waitress returned, setting down Soph’s tea and cheesecake and he waited for the waitress to disappear before continuing, weighing his words carefully as he spoke.

“Along the Order pipeline a little birdie told me Andrian is back on the scene,” Elijah raised his eyebrows cheekily. “How’s that?”

An olive branch had to start from somewhere.

Sophia looked at him laughed.  "Wow... Elijah, you finally grown up at last I see!"said Sophia smiling at him.  "I see your no longer up to your old schemes like you use to!"said Sophia honestly. Elijah what was some people used to call a man whore, but Sophia could really tell that he changed.  "So... who do we have here?"Sophia asked him softly looking at Alice and smiling.

Sophia listened to him and nodded.  "I understand Elijah, I been doing the same as well."said Sophia honestly.  Sophia swallowed hard as he mentioned Chase one of her best friends.  "I know you would of, and I know that's she's proud of you for changing your life around."said Sophia.  "I think we should make amends Elijah, I know Chase would of wanted us to and besides I can't hate you forever."said Sophia chuckling.

Sophia looked at him and shook her head.  "Oh it's going good, he comes and he goes but I just can't seem to get over him even when he was gone a year."said Sophia softly.  "I heard your no longer with Mira, thank god for that me and her hated each other guts and we still do."said Sophia honestly.

"Every time I run into her, there was always a duel or battle of some sort!"said Sophia honestly.  "Lets just say me and her had a good time with each other!"said Sophia smirking.  "Although from time to time, I guess she just can't leave me alone."said Sophia shrugging. "So... what has the famous Elijah Krum been up to lately?"Sophia asked him smiling.
